I feel like we'll never get the original Skullgirls story. I'm convinced these events between Annie Umbrella and Black Dhalia (and soon Marie) are improvised tellings based loosely off of what information they had from the originals.
That's the point though; all 2e stories are hypothetical situations if a specific character were to encounter and wish or destroy the skullheart so we can learn more about them and the lore indirectly; but I will say Eliza, Marie and dahlia probably have the most probability to be the "original" if we needed to pick
Dahlia didn't die because hid words made Dahlia more bored than making Ben die because instead her bored from listening Ben, she apparently hated Ben's rational chatter, which made him sick by letting him go for live.
It's more deep. So, basically I find their relationship incredibly interesting and complex. First because of their dynamic, hero Dahlia played a hand or may have even directly orchestrated Big Band's "early retirement". You could say this was motivated in an attempt to crush opposers of the Medici and the idea of heroism itself that BD so dislikes, but I think it might be another underlying reason. She's so infuriated that Ben hasn't turned out like her despite all the pain he's endured. Almost like...that was her intention, perhaps? So she wouldn't be alone in her insane world? Overall, she was frustrated because he wasn't like her even after passing for the same pain.
Not sure how I feel about Marie being Black Dahlia's first opponent in her Story Mode. I mean, Dahlia was just released a few days ago, meaning people would probably have a difficult time trying her out. I should know, because the moment I got Black Dahlia, I immediately went to her Story Mode and it took me about a dozen tries before I beat Marie and continued with her story. And the make things weirder, the fights that happened after Marie were easier. But on the other hand, seeing Fukua actually appear in a Story Mode that isn't her's is a nice addition.
B.Dahlia got my favorite story and i am glad. For a character that is responsible for many deaths and such, she deserved something like this Will say it still got me surprised with the ending and glad how the Skull Heart presence.
It's likely due to Studio Rental costs and gathering the actors that they have to wait. They're most likely waiting for either Marie (Or the likely Nightmare Legacy) that they'll call back all the VAs they can to do all the Voice Acting in a short time span.
I wouldn't say Eliza is pure evil, she's selfish so she serves herself good even at the cost of other's misery. Dahlia is pure evil, she wants what she wants but it won't necessarily do her good, she'll be fine with despair as long as she's entertained
Welp, at least i'm happy this story mode wasn't like Annie or Umbrella's which basically were just... the power of friendship. I was afraid that Dahlia would become ''good'' at the very end or something like that.
Dude, you are a nitpicker. She prove that it doesn't matter if your pure good or pure evil. The skull heart CAN give a wish without turning someone to a skullgirl. Plus considering she killed Eliza (Someone who cause the whole mess) i imagine Double to wisely let Black Dahlia go on a rampage since she probably do ALOT worst. I also like the idea that at least one of the three goddess doom the world is secretly trying to stop the world from ending, suggesting her rage has somewhat cooled over the years.
@@bloglazer9410 Yeah, you're right. At that moment I still couldn't understand her story mode that well, I guess you really need to know a lot about the Skullgirls lore in order to understand what the heck is happening lol. Still I'm glad this wasn't a 100% happy ending tho.

@@atheerlaso1750 Perhaps when either 3rd Encore will become a thing (with more DLC) or long after Marie's release
@@atheerlaso1750the devs said they’ll add voice acting after Marie’s release, so by the end of this year
@@smackyguardian we're already in 2024 lol
The mini valentine statue (nenodroid) is so cute❤
my favorite game is pretty people talking about/with some skull floating thing all the time
I feel like we'll never get the original Skullgirls story.
Black dahlia is evil 💀
But is very agility!
The skullheart had enough of all this shenanigans LOL
27:21 BIG BRAIN TIME
We need brain drain as a playable character.... Now!!!!!!
I'm amazed Black Dahlia and other characters found a way to kill those with powerful regeneration.
*FUKUA IS CANON* *OMG MY GIRL*
17:41
17:47
This story gives me so much danganronpa vibes with the theme
True
True b dahlia is just junko but cooler imo
That post dialoge hints at Aeon and Venus for the next season pass (copium)
Black Dahila ending is
Dahila Parody of Doom
Not sure how I feel about Marie being Black Dahlia's first opponent in her Story Mode. I mean, Dahlia was just released a few days ago, meaning people would probably have a difficult time trying her out. I should know, because the moment I got Black Dahlia, I immediately went to her Story Mode and it took me about a dozen tries before I beat Marie and continued with her story. And the make things weirder, the fights that happened after Marie were easier.
But on the other hand, seeing Fukua actually appear in a Story Mode that isn't her's is a nice addition.
ok ngl Dahlia is now one of my favorite characters. She's evil, insane, enigmatic, has a great design, and has one of if not the best story mode
Periodt‼️‼️‼️‼️
This is by far the best story out of all the character stories
To be honest, I am surprised she didn't kill Cerebella
Black Dahlia did train Cerebella before, I guess she didn't want her to be a complete waste of her time if she died.
Ian gon lie she ain’t have to do squiggly like that 6:36
27:19 So Brain Drain possible DLC character in the future? That be cool~
Yeah, when people were voting for a next dlc character, he was the one of characters that got the most votes
B.Dahlia got my favorite story and i am glad.
For a character that is responsible for many deaths and such, she deserved something like this
Will say it still got me surprised with the ending and glad how the Skull Heart presence.
Well I'm gonna rate her level extremely 5 star dangerous.
Good bye Lorenzo I hope you are going to have a nice time at the dark underworld.
Interesting story mode, I kinda feel like they did Eliza dirty for the sake of the story but oh well. At least it was somewhat entertaining.
Her ending is the box art for doom
Is it just me or she kinda sounds like La Signora?
Black Dahlia and Umbrella story modes don't have voices yet?
No :(
Same for annie
It's likely due to Studio Rental costs and gathering the actors that they have to wait.
They're most likely waiting for either Marie (Or the likely Nightmare Legacy) that they'll call back all the VAs they can to do all the Voice Acting in a short time span.
@@donnelwaddledee965 they’re going to update all of the season 1 pass story modes with voice acting when / shortly after Marie’s release
@@smackyguardian confirmed?
Dlc characters also didn't initially have voice actors, they're probably waiting until Marie's story
Ok maybe it's late but i say.
Eliza is Pure Evil.
Double is a Devil.
But Black Dahlia... is a monster.
Haters finna hate I still love her 😋😋🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🥰🥰🥰🥰‼️‼️
@cranberry6173 frr
I wouldn't say Eliza is pure evil, she's selfish so she serves herself good even at the cost of other's misery. Dahlia is pure evil, she wants what she wants but it won't necessarily do her good, she'll be fine with despair as long as she's entertained
7:13 why does that green haired bacvkground guy feel eerily familiar? i swear ive seen him somewhere before
Рисовка вышла на новый уровень
first time that i see fukua really talkin`
Bro tf fukua is canon? 💀
AHHH I CANT WAIT UNTIL THE VOICE LINES R IN
Dahlia is the most cruel character in skullgirls..🤨
She just killed Eliza.
Who killed two goddesses.
I was expecting more of The Crimson Scourge.
25:13
Now shes starting to remind me of Izuru saying boring 👀
So what is Aeon so scared of in the ending? Does she secretly hate her role as a goddess?
30:28 Game Doom
So was the wish to make the world into Doom or make everyone crazed murder psychos like her?
...Or both?
I feel like there’s somethin between Dahlia and Ben that we don’t know
The story is awesome. It really made me dislike black dahlia. Poor squiggly.
Skullgirl has different vibes for each ending. Some happy(rarely), sad, funny etc.
I dont have a problem with that.
where did double go did double just disappeared i thought she was supposed to protect marie oh well plothole
Thats true, double don't exist in this story mode
I don't think double would want to mess with Dahlia, if the first time she died made her see the Nun, something there might have been a red alarm for her
Wasn’t double attacking the labs when Marie was throwing the tower in other story modes?
@@mb947 Double and Marie got Valentine to do most of the dirty work if I remember right.
@@strangerplayer540 i think double let b dahlia make the wish
