- Here is my 2500pt night goblin army showcase.
The original 1000pts took roughly a month to paint but the remaining 1500pts had to be completed within 2 1/2 weeks for an event I attended this past weekend of June 1st.

Lovely models and very well painted. The stone trolls look great. And great sculpt on the troll hag.

Hi Duke, as I already expressed, I really love this army and you inspired me to start assembling one for myself.
One quick question: how hard has it been to collect all these OOP goblin minis in terms of effort, money and time?
I'm having such an hard time finding a good amount of units and when I do most of the times prices are nuuuuts!
@digressoire glad you're going to work on a classic goblin army!
You're gonna have a ton of fun with them.
And honestly I would say not too bad. Just need to check fb groups and ebay of course. Personally I don't think I paid that much for all my goblins but that's mainly due to knowing some sellers for years now on ebay.
And I would say part of the fun is hunting down the models!

I agree, is also funny to scan around for models, I was just a bit scared I could never find enough models for simple troops, but I'll keep looking.

A beautiful army. Personally, I prefer the 6th/7th edition range of miniatures, but one can't help but admire the work you've done with these gobbos.
The bases catch my attention. Could you tell us what material you use for the rocks? I feel the urgent need to plagiarize you XD

@Helkeon thanks, I did always love and, in fact, owned all the June Diaz daemon sculpts, but as I got older, I just can't help but feel the nostalgia for the older minis 😁.

Thanks, and the trolls performed surprisingly way better than expected. Hard to shift and can deal good damage.

2500 points? and not even 50 goblins? Puts me off old world already. I respect you were time constrained, and this is likely the only way the army comes close to being competitive. it just puts me on the back foot with what GW is thinking. 2500points i'd want to field 500 goblins at least (2 points plus gear each) but then that's just my imagery for goblins. i havent seen any official material for old world yet, so maybe its not to bad.
Trust me give old world a chance. I came from palying 7th, 8th and the beginning of the 9th age. And you most definitely can run goblin horde competitive.
And as mentioned, the biggest reason why I have so few goblins is that the Kev adam goblins are hard to get a hold of from the second hand market
I'm actually shocked you think my army is competitive 😅. Probably my most non competitive army I've made.
