I had an issue with my Aputure 120D Mark II (not the same as you) and I was able to get support to handle it immediately. I emailed their customer support email directly though, not through the website like you showed here. I agree that contacting their customer service should be easier if you don't have a direct contact, but I'm hoping this was a fluke or a website issue on their end. I've used and loved Aputure for awhile now just like you and their employees and representatives at conventions/trade shows are always so nice and helpful. Hope to see this get resolved for you ASAP!
I've talked to the reps many times at a few trade shows and everyone has been great. I even have a contact in the company, although it's been a few years and I'm not 100% sure if they are still there or not. I did send that person an email as well, also with no response. 🤷♂️
I burnt out a board on an F7 and they literally mailed me a new system board to swap it out for a very small cost for a mistake I made using the wrong batteries. They also got back to me really fast. Sounds a lot like your power supply failed and started to send too many amps through the cable which is dangerous. The light will turn off as a saftey measure to protect the LED but honestly while it is uncommon for power supplies to bust it can happen. You used to be able to get power supplies direct from Aputure's AliExpress store direct from China but not sure now since the light is no longer for sale. Try their customer service again or a matching power supply to see if thats the issue. You can take a volt meter to the leads on the power supply to see what it's outputting and determine if it's overvolting to troubleshoot the issue too.

Thanks again for the tip. I have the 120D running on a power supply from another Aputure light. It's been on for about 2 hours now and it's not overheating. You may just save me a bunch of $$$!!! 🥳
@@rynfilms There yah go! Just be careful to match the voltages / amp outputs so you don't burn it out. Leds are pretty easy to over volt and over stress and over heat them too.
