pepper has a deceptively high dps actually - that fast firing rate is pretty strong, and it's still 3x3 splash. I was the one responsible for its nerf lol
plus, because all the base plants are nerfed (sun, pea, wall), pepper only needs to deal a bit less than 2x pea dps to be good. that is pretty easy.

The dodo zombie in my opinion is just ruined in this mod,what is special about him is that he can fly over defensive plants like jetpack zombie but at the same time eat out plants after he lands,which actually made him a treat since he can ignore defenders and eat your attacking plants,this mod just turned him into a jetpack zombie 2.0
