- I had changed the strings of my Sitar after almost over a year. The naada was so powerfully enchanting that it got me to sit with the instrument for a few hours. Kindly bear with the technical shortcomings.

This is really a good experiment. Raga piloo…? A Carnatic violinist can try playing sarangi, bt they won’t try, bcz it requires a Big mindset.
I think the same applies vice versa

Rudraveena artist Ustad Bahauddin Dagar plays sarod also. he once told, I rmbr. wants to have a Saraswati Veena also. . Pt. pusparaj Kosti plays surbahar also along with sitar….what requires in these cases is Mindset to accept new world. . . Once I asked a Carnatic vocal artist, can u sing “ Krishna nee begane baro “ song in any other raga than Yamuna Kalyani…he replied “ NO “
