- 操車場で入れ替えをしていたジェームスは汚い貨車と汚い引き込み線、そして汚い荷物にうんざり。そのため、パン工場へ食材を運ぶ仕事を任されると気分が良くなりました。
「それなら清潔でいいや！」
ところが彼はあまりに夢中になっていて、線路が凍って滑りやすくなっていることを忘れていたのです。
One day, James the red engine was ordered to shunt trucks in the yard. He hated dirty trucks, dirty sidings, and dirty goods. So he was pleased to be given a train of food to the bakery. "That's nice and clean!" However, he was so pleased that he forgot about slippy frozen tracks!
