Awesome content guys! Binge watching your videos whilst pretending to work 😃
Hahaha ;) I think I've done a fair bit of that with your videos over the last couple of years....
When two worlds collide!
There brilliant
Ur so underrated in my opinion, these are quality videos that I enjoy watching. Ur AMAZING!
Thank you so much!
Personally I don’t think there underrated at all, I’ve a few of there logos on my bait boxes and I’ve not come across an angler who doesn’t know of there work or have anything but good things to say about them. But I get what your saying 👍🏼
14:13 "Imagine it fell off now" i died from lauging
arent u the xpike from RF4?
@@flontblond4109 yes
@@xpike2523 whats the chance that i met u there
I'm about as jealous as a man can get right now. That view, those sounds, so peaceful 😌 simply amazing how gorgeous nature is before man gets his grubby mits on it
Couldn’t have put it better
YOU NEVER SAY "Imagine if it fell off now" NEVER! lol
Exactly!!! I would never say this, would surely curse myself
The sheep noises are so foreign to me, no wonder you guys get so much cool b roll, but a really nice spot.
Jesus how far you’ve come glad i was along for the journey
Agreed! It's a shame they had to delete so many videos a while ago :(
@@fallen002a good to hear more admiration for the lads 🙏👏👏
@@fallen002a such a shame but shows there passion to carry on there gonna make it
No need to take the lords name in vain !
Unlucky Carl.
As Izaak said: “Study to be quiet”
Learned so much from his book some things never change
So so good, it was like a cliff hanger!, surely a part 2 for this?! ha ha, truly superb as ever fellas, absolutely first class
How does this only have 7 views something explain please
I just got a notification there now
Less than 10 seconds into the video
Me: this is going to be a banger!
«Imagine if that was to fall of now”… Dude, you pissed of the gods with that sentence. I thoroughly believe you would have netted that fish if you hadn’t said that. 😅
Idk somehow, the way your taking a video, just like National Geographic channel guys. It's really nice 🔥🔥. 😎. Thank u so much for the video.
Carp again, last video, carp, the one b4 that,carp.... beyond bored anymore. Beyond predictable... ending this subscription.
You two are my biggest influence ever you inspire me to go fishing and try new things so I can't say thank you enough times to tell you how grateful I am for everything you do so keep up the good work and don't change a thing about your channel.
Two years later and I’m still admiring the effort Carl and Alex put into their videos………Would love to see a recent video with Alex back
Thank you mate, appreciate that :) Yeah Alex came with me to the US recently to fish for striped bass with Jon B - that film will be out in Jan!
Can’t wait mate
Well as these little beauties were probably the ancestors of some carp that the Romans brought over then perhaps you should have dressed the part. As Centurions! :-) Loved the location and the filming, considering how hard it was, you did well - well one of you did..........
Monks introduced carp to the UK so maybe Friar Tuck would be more fitting lol
@@Brigz43 you are correct. And it was monks who took carp to that lake in buckets.
Do saltwater fishing in uk
Something like nice aquarium type of fishes
Wow you guys are incredible i wosh we could fish sometime
This was very interesting and great to watch
Love this guys! Should’ve gave em the old “floating piece of bread” technique!
Been waiting for this all week let’s go boys 💪
Yesssss
"remote mountain lake".... Bro that's a damn pond
carl you realy just jinxed your self at the very wrong time
Do you need a special license to fish at this unique spot?
What a stunning scenery and beautiful water. Your camera shots are amazing!
Love you guys! 😍
Greetings from Germany ☺️
Those fish in there will do anything to survive, which often involves shaking the hook free. They manage to survive extreme temperatures and all manner of predation, so don't be upset at losing that fish Carl. They're so attuned to survival!! A good tip is to fish to your right/left never in front of you, because it's so shallow they can see you and it puts them off taking your bait. I'm still learning after 35 years of fishing there. Great video Guys, loved it.
Thanks for the advice!!! :)
@@adamroots3429 There are chub, they were put in by the local Anglers to keep the carp numbers down a bit. There are also signal crays in there, probably got in with the chub.
Your videos just keep getting better and better. I think I speak on behalf of everyone here when I say thank you for your content.
I’m gutted for Carl but no doubt he will catch one upon their return with his determination. I’ve been blanking recently and when I see you guys go without for a few sessions, it makes me feel a lot better. I’m still yet to catch that beast of the lake. Great video as always and keep them coming
If I recall correctly, carp were believed to be introduced to Britain by German monks in the 13th/14th century as an alternate food source.
That was some lovely scenery lads. You always take me to the best places!
That looks like Silver Ridge Peaks
This are my favorite video's keep going! So much quality
Great location great video when it’s hard makes you try harder look forward to your return to the lake and I am shore you will bag one
Thanks John! 👍
How do you find such amazing lakes?
A Fly Rod and a dog biscuit is what you need boys. Fished my first carp there in 1986. Brings back good times.
I've just started fishing with my friends, only caught perch so far looking for carp next time, your videos are very entertaining and educational thanks guys 😁🎣
Good luck with the carp fishing!
@@fishwithcarl thanks guys 👍
In South africa carp like that are full
The sheep laughed at you when you got there. That's not a good sign.
And that is why the sport is called fishing, not catching :) another great video chaps
You got that right!
@@fishwithcarl Its what my Old fella told me, and its stuck with me since!
6:00 Big Fish
Why did you jinx it... I thought you was joking for a split second.....
Another amazing video
Beautiful beautiful land.... The scenery was simply breath taking... I could camp there all summer.. another great vid ...Thank you 👍🏡✝️❤️🎣🏹🛶🇵🇷🇺🇸
It sure was amazing there!
Unreal camera work and editing not to mention the fishing .top work lads 👍
Is that the lake in wales
Fish lake of menteith Scotland 🏴🏴
Imagine an episode of carl and alex with bear grylls. that would be so epic :D
Must be 🏴 I guess? Probably introduced by monks in the Middle Ages, if not in this lake then probably some others not far away ( I’m still down with the “ spreading eggs via birds feet “ theory 👍) well done.
Guys, just imagine! Almost all our carpfishing places are like this lake. I'm not about mountain, but about "very hard to catch".
But, we've found some trick on how to catch those wild carps.)
P.S.: I'm from southern part of Ukraine.
Blanking is the worst. I did a boxing day match on a canal. Up at dawn. Walk out in order from the draw, pick your spot. Freezing cold of course. Three people caught that day after five hours. One was a seven once minnow, the next was two gudgeon and the winner 14lbs of bream two pegs down. TWO PEGS DOWN! I still feel the pain!
No fish.. But what a place to fish, hey? Surely a little consolation?
I'm just catching up on all your old vids, I'm sure you're well over it now!
Must have been a monk's in the earea at some point in the past, as it were they who brought them to Britain for table.
Wow this is the most incredible place to fish. Absolutely stunning!! How did you actually manage to get permission to go up there and fish? Great work guys 👍😁
I do often wonder if they do get permission 🤔 I'd love to fish placed like this, but I'm too scared I'll be fined!
@@danielgriffiths4687 No doubt they'd get permission, I doubt that lake is ever fished, they do get that advantage, I hate carp fishing now, pulling out battered mouthed fish from lakes fished 24/7 where the carp have no chance is not appealing at all...
In New Hampshire, the common is abundant in the and Connecticut , where it was introduced in the late 1800's. It is also known to occur in Mascoma Lake. Description: The common is the largest
Hi Carl and alex
Guys I have the PERFECT hidden gem for a video for you! It's honestly SPECIAL! DM me! 💪💙🎣
Please can someone recommend some carp fishing venues in the County Durham/North East England area. Clubs, day ticket, syndicates, etc.
Nice fish tank 💪🏻
Wow that lake is amazing you guys are so lucky to be able to fish their
My local carp lake, never thought I'd say that being from Sussex.
Awesome stuff
I grew up catching only wild spawned exotics and native fish in Africa, to catch carp in the farm reservoirs (we call dams), using natural baits was always the best option - beetle grubs, dead bait fish and earthworms, cast out the baits, then just wait for them to move back into the swim. Club waters and national parks, the favoured bait was/is cooked maize paste with whatever flavouring each angler considered the best.
Hi guys I’m you angler trying to get into carp fishing what carp rod would u recommend , my budget isn’t massive like thanks also keep up the good work love watching you guys :)
Another great video!I've fished that lake many times and you've captured its beauty and atmosphere perfectly. And yes it can be a tricky place to catch from, especially on such a bright and still day but the carp are stunning.
Where is this as it looks like South Wales? Is it near Abergavenny?
I know you love Carp in the uk but here in Australia they classed as a massive pest but I still enjoy fly fishing for them, I live in town that’s 870 meters above sea level and we catch them on the fly they fight ridiculous well and are good practice for the spooky trout.
I would love to see you guys fish the house pond at Stone end farm fisheries in Gloucester it’s amazing I recommend the swim under then willow tree take also take a quiver tip probably the best rod to use at the lake since the carp aren’t very big up to 12lb but you can catch around 50 fish a day I’ve been a couple times and the least amount of fish I’ve caught was 30 it’s just such good fun and the fish there are beautiful.
Im no Carp fisher, But i haved fished alot of Carp. Its mainly about suffering, wich makes the good times better.
Next time try putting a bobber on with corn or a dough ball. Our carp looks just like that. Indiana doesn't mess with breeding carp and stocking them.
In recent years, I have come to not be able to stand British accents, and it seems like SO many UA-cam videos have British speaking narrators lol
Beautiful fish! Looks like the wild Danube carp we have here in Bulgaria. Superb content!
Really! Nice :)
It ain't fun blanking but it happens to all of us! Somebody once said if you catch every time you go it would be called catching not fishing? No surprise golden balls caught one xD hope you got out of there ok with the van intact?!
Great video. But you should've left the van and took the barrow. Proper hard-core angling.
Hello. Another unique vidéo. Always something new with you guys. All the best and stay safe.
If you think that place is hard to catch, come to Birmingham, to lifford lake. Notoriously hard !!
It's still wet... until it dies off. But by then it's probably dead.
Hi guys, you should try fly fishing this lake for carp one day. Should be interesting... love the vids!
We catch this species of carp all over Turkey. Thats pretty common here. Fin on belly, mustache near mouth...
Love watching your videos. Always make my days better. Sad that where i live there is next to 0 carp so i cant carp fish😟
Please don't ever say that, Carl. It's asking for trouble! Sorry, man!
Would have liked to see this a bit more in depth. I normally skip the carp fishing stuff but it would have been nice to explore the origins of the ol' mudpigs.
Haha dude you are frustrated wih couple of hours widouth fish. Come to Balkan. We could wait 3 days and go home with zero fish.
I have never seen you guys using fishfinders or radio controlled feedingboats.
Can you tell us viewers more about that?
Amazing video guys what’s the song at 3.20 please and thank you
I felt really sorry for you... so unlucky ...
Can you fish it again?
Love the videos so much, always excited when your release a new one❤️
First
Mate that place looks awesome..and the quality of the video is on top no notch
I hope you will do another video there.hope you will catch the fish next time which You missed..
Still waiting for Carl and Alex Picknicking with Mark Pitchers
very few inland lakes are natural - carp were are actually river fish thus the big fins - powerful rivers no problem.
Lovely video, very entertaining, normally you explain where the venue is & what the name of venue is, love to know.
Amazing videos. So underrated. You deserve millions of subs!
U should visit slovenia and try catch hucho hucho , its king of fishes in our rivers . Its fishable from oct-feb
So unfair towards the Dutch, fishing in mountain lakes. 🎣😊
For the benefit of Mr Kite there will be a show tonight on trampoline the Henderson's will all be there don't be late x and of course Henry the Horse dances the Waltz x
As soon as he said imagine if it fell of I knew he just jinxed himself😂
An environment impoverished by many too many woolly white mountain maggots .
Are there still remote places in the U.K. I've been in Australia for 40 years
Lol Murphy’s law dont say something bad will happen cause it will
Wow... you two did it again! Meaning, can't get enough of your videos! We recently missed a few of them, last we saw was the Castle. Oh and think one after. Then this one.
Recon we need to pick up some more pop corn before your next video comes out! Shout out from California AGAIN heh...
Hers & His Adventures in California (avid Carl and Alex fans)
Unlucky... felt your pain... but at least its and easy trip back to try again Carl 👍😂
I have thoose carp too in my fishingpond… but the farmers are fertelizing and they all die
Why do these carp look so cute ??
haha not sure!
