So this lantern rite is all abt family it seems, as someone with a similar situation with my parents like Gaming, this year lantern rite made me laugh and tear up a bit
xianyun and shenhe part was the highlight for me, it was just so funny 🤣 Reminding me of a prank channel where the actors are talking about absurd things in a restaurant and the guests around them are trying so hard not to laugh.

Yeah I noticed the majority of Liyue characters have been absent so far. I hope in the final quest, all of them will appear but it's a bit disappointing they didn't have much screen time for the majority of Lantern Rite

Gaming is the most Chinese character yet for Liyue. He even looks Asian. Always wondered why they westernized liyue so much in regards to its characters.
I laughed so hard after saw them, Houzhang & Jiehu 9:11 Firstly we disappointed with their design. Well it's okay I accepted slowly. Secondly, they disguised to meet Xianyun. After that, they tried to play kite but accidentally flew to Xianyun's mount area. AND THEN THEY DISGUISE THESE! HAHAHAH AHAHAH
I always love the lantern rite event, ALWAYS. but unfortunately i kinda disappointed a little bit bcs they remove the melody that brings me calm and peacefully, idk what's the name of melody, but the previous lantern rite they always add it
I've enjoyed it but it did feel more like Gaming's story quest vs Lantern Rite. It didn't really focus that much on the celebration, but I still really enjoyed the story.
@jamesreese4170 maybe becuz i don't like Gaming as character or i already see the story to cliche for me. I have friends who opinion also like u, where he feel the story focus more Gaming rather than Lantern rite.
