Sky Young ( Miss Young ) vanishing from Victor was symbolizing how he lost the last part that made him human. Now he is just a logical being , with no emotions. That is why Sky said to Victor, that he wont miss their talks, because he no longer will care about those talks.
"No... you won't" from Sky meant that Vicor was losing what's left of his humanity and future him either won't remember about Sky or won't care about her at all
I interpret it as Sky being Viktor's personification of culpability. Seeing that he never had romantic intent with her, he only ever felt guilty about being responsible for her death. With him transcending his humanity means he no longer needed her presence in the Arcane. Sky was fridged 1000% lol
No, it meant she realized Viktor never cared about him otherwise he wouldn't do something that would erase her for good. What people don't realize is that this is the real Sky, not viktors " good consciousness".
Victor has previously explained his reasoning to us: Two sides of the same coin…that our humanity is (also) the source of our greatest evil. In the pursuit of his ambition to achieve the “glorious evolution,” which will rid humanity of its suffering, Victor chooses to purge himself of his humanity. Sky knows, without his humanity, Victor won’t miss her (suffer her loss and absence) at all.
I think you’re all wrong. It’s more simple. She is literally him. He’s essentially talking to himself and doing so by projecting an image of a long time friend. As she’s “disappearing” she’s actually not, because she is him. Similar to how Jinx “talks” to Vi or Milo or Claggor throughout the series when they aren’t actually there. She does so in aggressive, scary projections while Victor/Sky s a bit more refined and … evolved.
There was so much about the Cait/Vi scene to love…. How Cait was going to be honest and tell her she was with someone else….and Vi giving ZERO fucks because she has her cupcake back. Then Cait is the one who rips her shirt off in front of Vi very aggressively, but then is soft and gentle undoing Vi’s wrapping…and is then CONTINUALLY gentle with her. Gently caressing her, touching her softly where she hit her with her rifle as if to say “I’m sorry….I will NEVER hurt you again!”, giggling with her in pure joy because she is FINALLY with who she truly WANTS to be with. And Vi…alternating between being very aggressive with Cait, and then being very gentle with her. Showing Cait that it has basically been her….ALWAYS. Just such a perfect love story for these two. People said that they actually did it in season 1 at some point, but this scene right here is almost irrefutable proof that THIS is their first time. The gentle touches, the way that they look at each others bodies, the happy giggle when fumbling to get undressed....just all so PERFECT!!!! It wasn't about sex...it was about love, trust, letting go, giving in, and intimacy...all the things they NEEDED in that moment with each other, knowing what was about to come. So happy I got my Violyn back.
10:23 You can tell by the forehead scarring and other bits of jewelry and stuff that this drone used to be Huck, the shimmer addict that helped Caitlyn get the healing potion for Vi in season 1. I just love all of the little details like that in Arcane!
As if the image of Vander's memories of his kids burning away wasn't sad enough, the next image of just Vander's face - looking so vulnerable and bare - also burning away.... ugh...
Twenty-One Pilots providing that ending song was a lot. Few bands actually give me chills at times. Combining that with a show that's been so heartbreaking is just cheating.
Jinx decides to break the cycle and to walk away because after Isha's death she finally ensured herself that SHE is the only reason why people she cares about are dying around. So now she just want to disappear from Vi's life to protect her
Not only that, Isha's death made Jinx finally understand why Vi left her behind in that fateful day, which led to all of them walking the path they did. It was a moment that made her look back at her entire life and realize she couldn't keep going the way she was going.
It’s funny how Fallout beat this show for best video game adaptation. Ella Purnell (Lucy) beat her own voice (Jinx). It must have been the most stress free night of her life knowing that no matter what she was going to win.

5:31 You can also see Isha's helmet on a grave. I missed it the first time I watched the show but seems like Ambessa did show a bit of respect to Isha there.
@@Rodrian68 I think it's hard to see the paint in that dark, but I still believe it's her helmet. But hey it's a show and you can interpret this moment however you want. Personally I think the showrunners and artists put too much details into this show, and for them to put that helmet there right next to rictus and Ambessa is not a coincidence.
@@Rodrian68 The rocks are in the shape of a miner's helmet. It's Isha's grave. The Noxians gave her a hero's funeral for her bravery and sacrifice in the battle.
My read on Ambessa's story is that the Black Rose realized she had a child with magic and wanted to recruit them but didn't know who it was exactly. Mel had been banished and treated like a disappointment for decades, so they thought it couldn't POSSIBLY be her, and instead they took the child Ambessa kept closest to her, Kino. He was tested and found to have no magic though, so they offered to give him back in exchange for the identity of some secret third child Ambessa must have, but she refused because while she loved both her children, Kino wasn't as useful as Mel. So she made the decision to let them kill him But the implication could be that she intentionally seduced a mage and had his child in the first place purely because she wanted Clan Medarda to have a weapon strong enough to fight back against other mages, who she sees as "unfairly" powerful. Ambessa is the pinnacle of human achievement in terms of physical strength, fighting skill, and war strategy, but up against fully trained mages all of that becomes useless. She is nothing to them but a tiny thorn, and she cannot accept that. She will fight and manipulate and claw and conquer until her family are strong enough to protect themselves from any foe
While your theory does have merit, it's still impled that kino went "poking" the bear. Season 1 Ambessa says he went against the wrong people, And in this episode we hear he kept investigating trying to find out his mother's past, which knowing all we know about Black Rose (in game universe at least) she was right to stay away from them and try and keep her children safe. If only she was more forthocming to them...
The whole "no matter how strong you are, there's always a mage that's gonna fuck your day up" thing is very accurate to League lore too, because while Viktor is portrayed as a godlike being in Arcane, I can name off the top of my head some 40 League characters who could wipe the floor with him lore-wise. And none of them are martials like Ambessa or Vi.
Viktor's development is interesting. He wants to create a better world for everyone, but at the end of episode 6 he realizes that the same emotions that are responsible for the greatest goods are also responsible for the greatest evils. So if you want to achieve "glorious evolution", you have to free people from what drives them to be evil: free will. It's also funny how Jayce wanted to avoid this by shooting Viktor, but in the end, that's what put him on this path.

i share the feeling that Act three felt like it opend a whole new show, coming from a family/underground vs elite drama to a whole new level (not for the better in my opinion). What would been fine if we had 3/4 seasons, but i didnt like that evolution given that that is the final season of Piltover/zaun.
Considering the next show that they plan to tackle likely takes place in Noxus, it makes sense that most of that plotline has yet to be resolved and felt like it was opening up the story to such a vast degree. The world this show comes from is so massive, that expecting the entirety of the show to take place within the confines of the Piltover/Zaun conflict is shortsighted. Ultimately, when power scaling is taken into account for the league universe, the dispute between Piltover and Zaun is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. That said, would I have liked more episodes? Of course. Who doesn't want more of such an amazing show. This is what we got though. The creators probably figured that viewers might not care as much about the next potential series, if they had fully concluded the Medarda storyline within Arcane. As it was written, viewers will have some investment with Mel's character going forward with a Noxus plotline. I don't think this was a mistake.
Jinx is wrong about walking away from your problems. Because no matter how far or fast you run you can’t run from yourself. Jinx has blood on her hands and that will stay with her until she gives her victims justice. Only when you’ve paid for your crimes can absolution come
I m still baffled by how the show managed to handle Mutiverse and Time travel well...only to then struggle with the basics of characters and conflicts. We were so close to a perfect show
I disagree. The only small issue was that they probably needed more episodes to expand on some of the character's motivations. With the time they had, they nailed everything.
The more I think about the more insane it is to me that Vi decides to eat some cupcake while her sister is talking suicidal. Vi: "Oh my sister seems suicidal, oh what ever lets have same cupcake" maybe its just bad writing... And before y'all get butthurt and all angsty on me. I know its 100% for fanfic. But lets be honest.... Writing was way off this episode.
you’re oversimplifying it too much, it wasn’t bad writing Vi didn’t know Jinx was suicidal, we as the audience know more than her as a character. Jinx saying “break the cycle” is pretty cryptic and could really mean anything, at least to Vi who doesn’t have the same context that we do. I know people like to say “but it was so obvious, is Vi just stupid?” but in doing so they fail to consider her perspective and her experiences The last time Vi saw her sister in a state of depression over losing someone she loved (Silco), she blew up the council building. She deflected her pain onto others, not so much herself. Vi has seen that same narrative countless times, so it makes sense as to why her mind wouldn’t immediately jump to the idea of suicide Couple that up with the fact that Vi feels an immense amount of guilt, constantly blaming herself for how things turn out, despite if it’s fair or not. That’s what she was grappling with in that scene “I choose wrong every time and because of it I’ve lost everyone”. It’s why she comes to believe that Jinx would leave her, why she feels a sense of betrayal and hurt because of it Not only that, but now Vi has to worry about Caitlyn’s response to what she did. She thinks that she’ll hate her and that their last hope at a reconciliation would be lost but instead Caitlyn ends up admitting to Vi that she took the guards away from the cell because she predicted Vi to do what she did, and she wanted to make it easier for her. In a way, Caitlyn was the one who let Jinx go free. It showed to Vi that Caitlyn was able to let go of that hatred and resentment that was making her the worst version of herself, that her love for Vi outweighed all else. It’s why Vi initiates their intimacy, she feels overwhelmed with relief, gratitude I won’t go into detail on every meaningful intricacy that went into their sex scene because this comment is already long enough, but there’s so much more to it than people perceive there to be. Writing it off as just fan service feels incredibly lazy to me
8th episode is definetly the worst this season , what bothered me the most was that Vi and Cait s*x scene, first of all it was copied from lol fanart...and second thing is that since Im an older sister myself to a younger sister who has depression and has tried some stupid stuff before I know that if you truly are not a psychopath then its very unrealistic to react to what Jinx said the way Vi reacted to it... if your sister tells you something like this then you grab the keys the moment you can and you RUN to find your sister.... you dont think about having s*x with your lover... thats just disgusting , no normal person reacts this way to such thing, it felt like they forced this scene in for fans even if it didnt make sense
As someone with MDD, I first off want to say that I commend your vigilance when it comes to your sister's well-being :) I also want to say that I think we need to remember that Vi doesn't know what the audience knows. "Breaking the cycle" is broad and could have meant anything to Vi. She also just doesn't know Jinx like we do 🤷🏽♀️ it's part of their overall tragedy: family that's never had the chance to be a family. She doesn't have the familiarity that other people have with their siblings because they've been separated for years and only chatted neutrally for that short time between Vi in the ring and Viktor's compound collapsing. Vi doesn't have anything to go off of except Jinx's new history of violence. The last time Vi saw Jinx incredibly emotionally distraught, she attacked the council, so from what little Vi has seen, she probably thought it was more likely that Jinx was going to do something similar, not hurt herself. As for the love scene, I think reducing it to just sex is kinda harsh. Like yeah, shippers will always love an act of consumation, but Vi and Cait were having a moment to finally express their love. Jinx urged Vi to allow Cait into her life, and then to see Cait essentially forgive Jinx by setting things up for her to escape, Vi was overwhelmed. The two women in her life who mean the most have both stopped the fight, and that was a huge emotional liberation for Vi.

Feeling strange 'bout the way we left things in the back of the car (Back of the car)
[Pre-Chorus]
Mm, can't believe that I’m in pain
Help me disassociate
I just wanna be a good passenger
[Chorus]
I'm feeling fantastic, I'm fucking fantastic
I wanna get drunk and watch American classics
Drink champagne out of plastic
Don't you want someone crazy like me, babe?
I'm feeling amazing, I'm fucking amazing
I'm high as a kite, I'm sat here picturing you naked
You just have to take it
If you want someone crazy like me, babe
[Verse 2]
I be thinking about you
While you’rе down there being a doll
It’s еither a curse or a blessing
Every time that you call, oh
[Pre-Chorus]
Mm, can't believe that I’m in pain
Help me disassociate
I just wanna be a good passenger
[Chorus]
I'm feeling fantastic, I'm fucking fantastic
I wanna get drunk and watch American classics
Drink champagne out of plastic
Don't you want someone crazy like me, babe? (Crazy like me)
I’m feeling amazing, I'm fucking amazing
I'm high as a kite, I'm sat here picturing you naked
You just have to take it (Take it)
If you want someone crazy like me, babe
[Outro]
And I'm thinking of you
When I'm up here higher than God
💜
Purple is also another word for Violet.... which is jinx n vi's mom's hair color. which is why Vander told her to name her first child violet.
-Season 2 Episode 8 The Line Lyrics (Vocals by Twenty One Pilots):
[Chorus]
My body's on the line now
I can't fight this time now
I can feel the light shine on my face
Did I disappoint you?
Will they still let me over
If I cross the line?
[Verse 1]
Take a seat
But I'd rather you not be here for
What could be my final form
Stay your pretty eyes on course
Keep the memories of who I was before
So stay with me because
[Chorus]
My body's on the line now
I can't fight this time now
I can feel the light shine on my face
Did I disappoint you?
Will they still let me over
If I cross the line?
[Verse 2]
Honestly
I thought I was fully prepared for
The threshold in store
Stay your pretty eyes on course
I guess I never really faced my fears before
So stay with me because
[Chorus]
My body's on the line now
Pull the blanket tight now
I can feel the light shine on my face
Did I disappoint you?
Will they still let me over
If I cross the line?
[Instrumental Break]
[Chorus]
[Chorus]
Please don't let them see me
Sure there's nothing left to try
I can feel the light shine on my face
Did I disappoint you?
Will they still let me over
If I cross the line?
[Outro]
If I cross the line
If I cross the line
💜

Merry Christmas to everyone! 💜 💚 ❤ 🎄 🎅 🤶 🧑🎄
Technically red and blue makes purple
Spartan & Pudgey Such A Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Vander is done so dirty by this show dying multiple times whilst being the most likeable character :'(
I truely believe that Sky was Victors humanity, his moral compass if you will. He Let go of her, his humanity to become this final form of Victor.
i share the feeling that Act three felt like it opend a whole new show, coming from a family/underground vs elite drama to a whole new level (not for the better in my opinion).
S&P uploading Christmas day, making me late to dinner, smh
I’m at work on Christmas night and this pops up? Let’s goooo 🔥
Jinx is wrong about walking away from your problems. Because no matter how far or fast you run you can’t run from yourself.
Jinx has blood on her hands and that will stay with her until she gives her victims justice. Only when you’ve paid for your crimes can absolution come
Walking away? My man this couldn’t be more obvious that she’s referring to suicide, no one seems to get it tho, guess different experiences
merry xmas
Yay I’m so ready for this one!
YAYYY
I m still baffled by how the show managed to handle Mutiverse and Time travel well...only to then struggle with the basics of characters and conflicts.
We were so close to a perfect show
I disagree. The only small issue was that they probably needed more episodes to expand on some of the character's motivations. With the time they had, they nailed everything.
The more I think about the more insane it is to me that Vi decides to eat some cupcake while her sister is talking suicidal.
Vi: "Oh my sister seems suicidal, oh what ever lets have same cupcake"
maybe its just bad writing...
And before y'all get butthurt and all angsty on me. I know its 100% for fanfic. But lets be honest.... Writing was way off this episode.
you’re oversimplifying it too much, it wasn’t bad writing
Vi didn’t know Jinx was suicidal, we as the audience know more than her as a character. Jinx saying “break the cycle” is pretty cryptic and could really mean anything, at least to Vi who doesn’t have the same context that we do. I know people like to say “but it was so obvious, is Vi just stupid?” but in doing so they fail to consider her perspective and her experiences
The last time Vi saw her sister in a state of depression over losing someone she loved (Silco), she blew up the council building. She deflected her pain onto others, not so much herself. Vi has seen that same narrative countless times, so it makes sense as to why her mind wouldn’t immediately jump to the idea of suicide
Couple that up with the fact that Vi feels an immense amount of guilt, constantly blaming herself for how things turn out, despite if it’s fair or not. That’s what she was grappling with in that scene “I choose wrong every time and because of it I’ve lost everyone”. It’s why she comes to believe that Jinx would leave her, why she feels a sense of betrayal and hurt because of it
Not only that, but now Vi has to worry about Caitlyn’s response to what she did. She thinks that she’ll hate her and that their last hope at a reconciliation would be lost
but instead Caitlyn ends up admitting to Vi that she took the guards away from the cell because she predicted Vi to do what she did, and she wanted to make it easier for her. In a way, Caitlyn was the one who let Jinx go free. It showed to Vi that Caitlyn was able to let go of that hatred and resentment that was making her the worst version of herself, that her love for Vi outweighed all else. It’s why Vi initiates their intimacy, she feels overwhelmed with relief, gratitude
I won’t go into detail on every meaningful intricacy that went into their sex scene because this comment is already long enough, but there’s so much more to it than people perceive there to be. Writing it off as just fan service feels incredibly lazy to me
This season is somewhat rushed. And that prison bang scene was really cringy and unnecessary long in that circumstances😖
It's so interesting that I never saw this criticism about Mel and Jayce's sex scene in season 1.
Yea…. this season was a mess hahahaha
