Aditya Sir, Without being boastful I would like to mention that I have never seen a Math Faculty as you. You are by far the best teacher who teaches basics with complete concepts and then take it to another level. Simply Amazing!! I am greatful that while preparing for GMAT I am able to get guidance from you through these channels. Also putting on UA-cam for public you are not only helping a lot of students who can not afford financially to take admission into an Institute but also providing students the best material with such an ease that anyone who is serious about taking the test can easily understand the whole thing. Thank you so much sir. अब राजा का बेटा ही राजा न्ही बनेगा राजा वो बनेगा जो हक़दार होगा।
In the ethanol and gasoline question if we need to find how much amount of gasoline we need to remove(hypothetically) so if we go by this method the ratio comes as -1:2 so we have to remove 10 gallons of gasoline or not? Or is there any other answer
can we solve the below question using alligation method ? please advice. TIA. There are two solutions of water and spirit of different concentrations. Solution 1 is of 30L and solution 2 is of 10L. If same amount of solution is taken from each of the solutions and added to other solutions, the concentration of both the solutions becomes same. Find the amount taken from each solutions? Answer : 7.5 litres
In the last problem, the values considered to draw the mixture diagram are avg salaries, but in the end the 1:3 ratio is mentioned as the ration of #of Manangers vs #of directors. Why?
I could solve all these questions in one go on my own. So can I not worry for AMA as far as gmat is concerned atleast? Only talking about gmat here (saying again)
Most of the patterns you see on the GMAT is covered, however this might not be the comprehensive list considering it's a short session. Also apart from getting the answers it's important to manage your time when answering these questions too, which is a very important aspect of GMAT. So our suggestion would be to also practice till you get the answers in the specific time limit required.
Hi! Can you please solve this question with the method discussed? Johns car needs more gas and an oil change, but he only has enough money to spend on average of $1.50 per gallon on oil and gas combined. If he needs at least 12 gallons of gas and the gas costs $0.80 per gallon, how many gallons of oil can he buy if oils costs $2.00 per galon? Thank you in advanced :D
This method does not work reliably, and the questions are set up to make it seem so. Immediately tried this on 5 non-crackverbal mixture questions and failed every time.
Hi Aditya/Crackverbal team, can you please share link for the Probability video as referred in the video. Could not find it on the crackverbal youtube channel by title. Thanks in advance.
A Food and Drug lab has two new samples: a 240 gram cup of drip coffee, which contains 124 mg of caffeine, and a 60 gram cup of espresso, containing 160 mg of caffeine. If a technician were to create a new 120 gram cup sample that contained 50% coffee and 50% espresso, how many mg of caffeine would the new drink contain? Sir, how can we solve this question using mixture diagram?

Thanks for sharing this. Somehow this method does not work with 3 mixtures. Is there a reason for this?
every time Aditya solved a problem with mixture diagram I went "WHooooaaaaaaaaa....."
Can this approach be used to solve all the mixture questions within the scope of GMAT? Btw great lecture.. thanks!
Not really.
It's better to draw a diagram for individual mixtures.
And keep track of the units.

Sir, how can we solve this question using mixture diagram?
Your explanation for eliminating A seems incomplete. Since y>4 we do know that x
Your approach of eliminating the 1st option is correct, as we can have values of x = Y, x less than y as well as x greater than y
Aditya so beast. why did he leave crack verbal
