These are so glorious. I saw this live and about half the time my brain was screaming “DAVID TENNANT IS RIGHT OVER THER OMGGGGGG” so it’s good to fill in the blanks 😂
He is so insanely talented. He’s funny as hell and when it’s time to turn on the romance with the “live in thy heart, die in thy lap, and be buried in thy eyes”, he NAILS it.
@@Lily_of_the_Forest I've read comments off people saying that the play, specially this adaptation, gives them sort of reverse bisexual awakening vibes. In the sense of "I thought I was gay but what if I like the opposite gender to". I didn't see it until I saw someone painting it out, but it does make sense. (Also when I say "reverse" I don't mean it like there is a "right" way of realizing you are bisexual, just that is the opposite of what is usually shown in media)
So is it just fact that anyone who’s just finished either doomsday or the last episode of good omens 2 goes to clips of this production? Because i think it’s fact
there's a part 2!! *squeaks excitedly* This is, if possible, even more amazing. It's slightly concerning how much of this whole thing I can now quote along with David and Catherine 😂😂
@@meincompetentinvideosnoe6368 so far, all I can find are two 6 min clips in two parts highlighting excerpts. I did view it once, but need to see it again. I have Hamlet and Richard II and have rewatched several times bc once is not enough. Digital Theater makes it available for 48 hours or a subscription 🤔 If it's possible to subscribe for a month I will. I would rather have my own DVD of it. What a shame as it's my favorite Shakespeare/Tennant performance so far...
Literally, him trying to figure out the keyboard was probably only partly acted. I’m convinced he didn’t actually know what he was doing with it.
@@g.b569The eggplant emoji!!! 🍆 😂😂😂😂
It's called ACTING
best character development: from "i will live a bachelor" to "get thee a wife"
Benedick is the archetypal bisexual himbo and I love him for that
YES I've been saying he has bi wife energy
I’m not sure why bi? Sorry to be dumb.
@@Lily_of_the_Forest just has bisexual energy idk man
David and Catherine’s chemistry is unmatched. They work so well together

I can't blame you really
I would have been the same!! 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥

The ‘end of a dreamworks movie’ part is SO accurate, the best movies always end with either a wedding, a dance party, or both!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one obsessed with this 😅
the chaotic bisexual energy of the play is off the charts in this adaptation
Where do you see the bisexual energy? I don’t understand.

Haha I had forgotten how much I love this performance, one of my all-time favorite takes on a Shakespeare character
My favourite parts of him by himself are the paint part and the part here he accidentally plays "When the Saints Go Marching In" :P:P
Excuse me but 0:56 is literally the two of them discovering the new tardis at the end of The Star Beast.

Definitely! GO fan here! ♥️

Well, I finished GO one month ago and I watched Branagh's version of this monday.

@meincompetentinvideosnoe6368 thank you for replying. Back in October '23 it was on UA-cam but it got taken down and now there are only short clips😢
