Right before the final song, Bono says a long series of words, and next thing you know, the entire Vegas dome is yelling “LAR-RY!!! LAR-RY!!! LAR-RY!!! He had a back surgery that he actually needed several years ago, but kept putting it off until it got too bad that he had no choice, and while he’s had to sit out some shows having a substitute on drums, he HAS for the first times ever hit to experience his own band performing while sitting in the nosebleeds with Dave Grohl

The totally different personalities of the four guys in the show makes it very well balanced. I was really sorry to see him go. There really isn't any going back. The new celebrity guests are really funny and the three remaining guys are still hilarious. I don't know if the show will survive long term though. But I wish them all the best and I still tune in when I have the time and get a laugh or two.

Yeah, my 2 cents but it feels like Joe may have hooked up with someone from set and his wife found out. They removed certain episodes of Joe on HBO max, ones that could be seen as “inappropriate.” I think Joe takin time off was him attempting to repair his marriage, spend more time with his kids and avoid unnecessary brand damage if the details got out. Basing that on very little evidence, so take it with a grain of salt.

Why would you want to ask for time to be with your kids only to just go on a tour where you are gone weeks at a time? He probably told the three guys first and they just didn't want these allegations to affect all of their careers so he probably figured it would be best if he said he was going solo for divorce reasons. All of it is rumors with no credibility. Joe explained why he continues to tour solo, but left the show. When he did the show and the tour, he was working almost every day. With just his tour, he only works weekends. Therefore, he has much more time to spend with his kids, but can still make some kind of income. I do agree with you saying that he probably isn't coming back to the show, but I understand the circumstances.

Getting a bit frustrated hearing all the various theories. Here's what actually happened according to someone very close to them. For those who don't know, Joe was a bit of a ladies man before the show and was well renowned for being a womaniser. You can see how easily he flirts whilst on the show. Problem is he was unfaithful to his wife early in their relationship and that's why the other 3 had such fun doing that challenge where Joe had to kiss another girl and why Joe was so stressed. If you look closely his wife has a look on her face as if to say, "You really wanna go down that road again?" Anyway two things closely related caused the breakdown of their relationship. Firstly, his wife suffered really bad depression after having the kids and this led to tensions. It also led to mistrust of Joe whilst they were busy filming as she was convinced he was seeing other women. His wife also wanted him to leave the show and spend more time at home and also felt that the show was causing embarrassment to her and the family with Joe of course being the most outlandish of the 4. Worse yet, his wife turned against Sal, Murr and Q and felt they were negatively influencing matters. What this led to was Joe losing focus because of the pressure at home, showing up late for filming, falling asleep on set, arguing with people. Of course the show is a family even besides the 4 friends so they were very understanding and suggested that Joe take leave and spend time at home. He did. But what it also did was lead Joe to wonder if having a family life was going to hinder his role on the show so he started to look for alternatives. Meanwhile Impractical Jokers realised that maybe Joe wouldn't come back so they started to plan for life without him. Of course Joe being at home 24/7 was good for his relationship with his kids but started to put a strain on their marriage as he and his wife hadn't been used to spending so much time together in ages. Plus Joe was resentful for her for having to temporarily leave the show. So they fell out and started to talk about separation and divorce. Joe now realised he would need another career if the show wouldn't have him back. And so it ended up in a situation where Joe realised that comedy tours were the way forward and would also be less embarrassing to his kids as they grew up. Joe and his wife agreed to divorce amicably now that he wasn't going to return to IJ, and that he would have custody of his kids whenever he's not touring, thus giving him more time with his kids then even when he was on the show. And after a long sit down with the other 3 and Impractical Jokers executives, they agreed to take down certain footage that Joe (well his ex wife) felt might be overly embarrassing. This being done to placate his wife in terms of any divorce settlement. All in and very sad and utterly avoidable.
Someone close who obviously has to remain anonymous. It's nothing that Joe and his wife don't ultimately fully expect to be well known. But for now it's far easier to stick with the current narrative. I just felt it was a bit unfair as a lot of people were criticising Joe for leaving the show and then not actually spending time with the kids as he says. Because going on tour means lots of time in between, Joe will see far more of his kids than before and all the while doing so whilst earning a living and doing it in a way that doesn't involved nudity or any other stupid things. Even though I personally find these things hilarious. The hope is ultimately that his ex wife gets the help and support she needs and that the other 3 and her go back to being on great terms. From what I hear it's all looking up so I'm happy about that.

I had been watching IJ since night #1, way back in 2011 (Cannot believe it was that long ago! Where has the time gone to??), and Joe was always my favorite. When it was announced at the end of 2021 that he would be leaving, I knew it was going to cause a dramatic difference/change to the show. Mainly because Joe was such an important part of the show. But I continued to give it a chance, minus Joe, for a year or more, and guess I finally tapped out in 2023, after it continued to become so awful and bad now, ever since it came back with new episodes, minus Joe, in 2022, I believe it was. They really should have ended it, when, and if, any of them ever decided to leave because the show does not work without all 4 of them. And don't even get me started with the whole celebrity guests in each episode,.it just makes it even worse and doesn't work, at all. Not to mention, it causes it to feel very staged and set-up, and not very authentic either. In the past, when they had celebrity guests, it felt right and worked too, and was something special back then, but not anymore, and not with the way the show flows now either. Really a d**n shame too because it was my favorite show for all those years, until the end of 2021/early 2022. R.I.P. Impractical Jokers 2021...you'll forever be missed, but loved. 😢 Lol.

I’ve noticed the show is a bit meaner in the jokes either against each other or the people who are being “joked with.” In their attempt to be more edgy I hint they’re just meaner rather than as good natured as it used to be. That’s really only based on the few I’ve watched though.

There is so much wrong with that show now, even beyond Joe being gone, but that was the catalyst that started it all unfortunately; or maybe the Network (TruTV) stepped in and made the suggestions/changes, either because of Joe leaving or may would've even happened if he had stayed, but that's hard/impossible to say for certain without knowing. The only thing I know for certain is that the show should have ended when Joe left, or when/if any one of them decided to leave. Really a d**n shame too because it had been my favorite TV show since night #1 way back in 2011, and the reruns are what got me through the mundane and boring lockdowns because of Covid, but besides it being so different and even odd now, it really isn't any good anymore and feels so scripted, fake and staged, which it never did feel that way before. I miss joe, but honestly the guys are still handling the show well and the celebrity appearances actually work really well. Plus they got sal to walk on hot coals which I don't think sal would've done in the past.
Rumor has it he was really flirty with fans (girls in their 20's) and ultimately had an affair. Why would you want to ask for time to be with your kids only to just go on a tour where you are gone weeks at a time? He probably told the three guys first and they just didn't want these allegations to affect all of their careers so he probably figured it would be best if he said he was going solo for divorce reasons. I am sure he told his wife and she didn't find out, for that she kept it a secret. IDK I could be way off. I doubt he will come back to the show even though we all want him to.
@vincarro5078 He's not on tour weeks at a time. He works an average of about 8 days a month, mostly on weekends only, and he often takes his kids with him. Quit feeding gossip about some alleged affair. You're making s*** up off the top of your head.
All of it is rumors with no credibility. Joe explained why he continues to tour solo, but left the show. When he did the show and the tour, he was working almost every day. With just his tour, he only works weekends. Therefore, he has much more time to spend with his kids, but can still make some kind of income. I do agree with you saying that he probably isn't coming back to the show, but I understand the circumstances.
@@TCRHProductions nah but everything points to rumours being true, you saw how they removed joe completely from show they dont even refer to his name anywhere on official show neither there was any tribute or announcement, completely gone no reference to him at all despite of him being probably the funniest on the show. Also, some of the episodes where joe's behaviour was questionable are removed from official network completely, for example, the time joe asked a stranger to in park to put sunscreen on him.

Getting a bit frustrated hearing all the various theories.
Here's what actually happened according to someone very close to them.
For those who don't know, Joe was a bit of a ladies man before the show and was well renowned for being a womaniser. You can see how easily he flirts whilst on the show.
Problem is he was unfaithful to his wife early in their relationship and that's why the other 3 had such fun doing that challenge where Joe had to kiss another girl and why Joe was so stressed. If you look closely his wife has a look on her face as if to say, "You really wanna go down that road again?"
Anyway two things closely related caused the breakdown of their relationship.
Firstly, his wife suffered really bad depression after having the kids and this led to tensions. It also led to mistrust of Joe whilst they were busy filming as she was convinced he was seeing other women.
His wife also wanted him to leave the show and spend more time at home and also felt that the show was causing embarrassment to her and the family with Joe of course being the most outlandish of the 4.
Worse yet, his wife turned against Sal, Murr and Q and felt they were negatively influencing matters.
What this led to was Joe losing focus because of the pressure at home, showing up late for filming, falling asleep on set, arguing with people.
Of course the show is a family even besides the 4 friends so they were very understanding and suggested that Joe take leave and spend time at home.
He did. But what it also did was lead Joe to wonder if having a family life was going to hinder his role on the show so he started to look for alternatives.
Meanwhile Impractical Jokers realised that maybe Joe wouldn't come back so they started to plan for life without him.
Of course Joe being at home 24/7 was good for his relationship with his kids but started to put a strain on their marriage as he and his wife hadn't been used to spending so much time together in ages. Plus Joe was resentful for her for having to temporarily leave the show.
So they fell out and started to talk about separation and divorce. Joe now realised he would need another career if the show wouldn't have him back.
And so it ended up in a situation where Joe realised that comedy tours were the way forward and would also be less embarrassing to his kids as they grew up.
Joe and his wife agreed to divorce amicably now that he wasn't going to return to IJ, and that he would have custody of his kids whenever he's not touring, thus giving him more time with his kids then even when he was on the show.
And after a long sit down with the other 3 and Impractical Jokers executives, they agreed to take down certain footage that Joe (well his ex wife) felt might be overly embarrassing. This being done to placate his wife in terms of any divorce settlement.
All in and very sad and utterly avoidable.

I just felt it was a bit unfair as a lot of people were criticising Joe for leaving the show and then not actually spending time with the kids as he says.
Because going on tour means lots of time in between, Joe will see far more of his kids than before and all the while doing so whilst earning a living and doing it in a way that doesn't involved nudity or any other stupid things. Even though I personally find these things hilarious.
The hope is ultimately that his ex wife gets the help and support she needs and that the other 3 and her go back to being on great terms.
From what I hear it's all looking up so I'm happy about that.

With him touring all over the place and doing his podcast and being guests on others I wonder how much time he really spends with them. From what he says he sounds lonely outside of work.
I had been watching IJ since night #1, way back in 2011 (Cannot believe it was that long ago! Where has the time gone to??), and Joe was always my favorite. When it was announced at the end of 2021 that he would be leaving, I knew it was going to cause a dramatic difference/change to the show. Mainly because Joe was such an important part of the show. But I continued to give it a chance, minus Joe, for a year or more, and guess I finally tapped out in 2023, after it continued to become so awful and bad now, ever since it came back with new episodes, minus Joe, in 2022, I believe it was. They really should have ended it, when, and if, any of them ever decided to leave because the show does not work without all 4 of them. And don't even get me started with the whole celebrity guests in each episode,.it just makes it even worse and doesn't work, at all. Not to mention, it causes it to feel very staged and set-up, and not very authentic either. In the past, when they had celebrity guests, it felt right and worked too, and was something special back then, but not anymore, and not with the way the show flows now either. Really a d**n shame too because it was my favorite show for all those years, until the end of 2021/early 2022. R.I.P. Impractical Jokers 2021...you'll forever be missed, but loved. 😢 Lol.

Joe's laugh at the back was essential, now their laughs aren't very convincing 3. Q is too damn fake and he's been stepping up making it more obvious that he's faking. in my realization, i really thought Sal was the key of the jokers, but it was Joe's, I also can see that the show can survive without Q, but not Joe

Also the tone of the show has changed somewhat. I’ve noticed the show is a bit meaner in the jokes either against each other or the people who are being “joked with.” In their attempt to be more edgy I hint they’re just meaner rather than as good natured as it used to be. That’s really only based on the few I’ve watched though.

There is so much wrong with that show now, even beyond Joe being gone, but that was the catalyst that started it all unfortunately; or maybe the Network (TruTV) stepped in and made the suggestions/changes, either because of Joe leaving or may would've even happened if he had stayed, but that's hard/impossible to say for certain without knowing. The only thing I know for certain is that the show should have ended when Joe left, or when/if any one of them decided to leave. Really a d**n shame too because it had been my favorite TV show since night #1 way back in 2011, and the reruns are what got me through the mundane and boring lockdowns because of Covid, but besides it being so different and even odd now, it really isn't any good anymore and feels so scripted, fake and staged, which it never did feel that way before. It may still actually be 100% authentic and real, but still doesn't change the fact that it just plain is not good anymore.

As far as the “meanness” I think you might be right that it could be the producers of the show as much as anything. But Joe was always the one who was sort of anti any kind of bullying while still having a good time. Who knows, maybe he’ll be back some day. It’s not the same without him you’re definitely right.

He can make his own schedule for his tour/podcast. The show time wasn't his. They could work the same hours a doctor/lawyer does, 90hrs/week, 18hrs per day. We don't know how long it would take them to film anything, how much it was interupted. Plus, when it was tour time, he couldn't do his, coudn't make his own jokes; it was all Joker humour. Now he can be as funny as he wants, which is a little different. Nice name, btw; dude is my main word.
