Is this the answer to the planets green energy needs?

actually combining existing clean energy is the best like solar, wind, kinetic floor tile (pavegen), and wave.

It will definitely be part of it. Human mind and ingenuity is unstoppable . We do not have yet the right approach to harness this energy, but there are millions of private persons trying new ways.
One day a modest device made by a humble technician will conquer this battle for a greener planet.

The cost to combat the corrosive power of sea water is probably the biggest reason we do not have more power generating options from our oceans.

There is nothing the see will not break. Nothing. Either with brute force, or dissolving it, or rusting it, or corroding it, or covering it with algae.

How would shipping routes be affected though? Wouldn't that pose an issue?

Wave devices should be made of polymer reinforced carbon fiber.

Convinced me this will never wash... 1: Pity the creatures that live in the water, 2, Think of creatures like seals & whales, 3: Shipping, 4: I like the blase way these generators can 'be easily connected to the grid"!!! 5, Corrosion, 6, Sabotage, 7, Maintenance, 8 COSTS 10, we have enough muck in our oceans, seas and waterways, I'm not sure power generators, including mammoth wind turbines are compatible with healthy seas.

I didn't hear anything about the effect of these projects on marine life. I think that is an important factor to consider.
