This hotel is in Dharwad and 102 years old and very special for Ghee(Tuppada) Dosa, they are maintaining the taste of this from the beginning till now and continuing.
Here all the famous celebrities like Sri Girish Karnad, Sri Shamba Joshi & Sri D R Bendre also visited here and enjoyed the taste of this dosa, also our central minister Sri Prahlad Joshi sir also taste this dosa whenever he is in Dharwad.

I think I could have really missed this thuppa-centric hotel. 102 year old! Not only Dosa is prepared in desi ghee, but chakli also. From 1969 I have been resident of Dharwad.

Back in the early and mis 70s...they had a room only for Brahmin customers. Was a decent hotel back then. The present generation has to note...that visiting hotels and consuming a masala dose was a luxury back then. Sipping tea...was a common occurrence
