@@McGregor007ah yes 20mm high explosive incendiary and fragmentation shells definitely only rely on velocity. in reality most modern AA rounds have a time fuse to explode at a set distance specifically for the reason that they’re not harmless when they hit the ground. Also even in regards to the rounds that don’t have explosive filler projectiles being non lethal at terminal velocity only applies to pennies and smaller lead bullets not giant tungsten cannon rounds 20mm is fairly lightweight compared to 23mm 25mm 30mm 37mm 40mm 57mm which weighs several kg. Even with 20mm ammo usually weighing over 0.1kg I still wouldn’t want to be hit by something the weight of a baseball traveling well over twice is fast as what major league pitchers throw concentrated at a much smaller tungsten point. Sounds pretty lethal to me

Rounds explode I the air after a certain range so they don’t really fall to the ground in a single peace just tiny fragments. Terminal velocity of those is not really a danger to anyone.

CRAMs aren't supposed to overheat that fast tho, it is actually really close to what it looks like irl.
Before having any trouble with heat most, ammo/target are already obliterated and it takes literal seconds to start the process of cooling, in some CRAMs you might actually see pumps and valves that redirects cooling solutoona directly to the barrel/adjacent contacts and plenty of lubricant in every movable part inside.
