I wouldnt buy it console at launch, not until they confirm theyve fixed the performance. All the gameplay videos show the frames dropping to the low 20s in some fairly basic combat which already isnt good but imagine the later bosses and advanced spells, who knows how many frames well be getting might be borderline unplayable
I want to play this game..but I feel like it will be to overwhelmed with npc's..and missions and side quest will get convoluted, im going with rise of the ronin I'll get this when it goes on sale..and the reason you don't have to play the first dragon's dogma is because dragon's dogna 2 is basically a revamped version of dragon's dogma 1...watch
I will say I plan on buying it but most people won't like this. If you played and liked Dogma 1 I think you will definitely like this. If you were not a fan of one or haven't played one go get it it's probably like 20 bucks or less on sale before you spend 70 or a game that may not be for you. I say Don't get excited just to be disappointed by this game because its not for you.

30 FPS has me worried I'm not gonna lie... I can't understand why all next gen games are not 60 FPS... we should not still be having to play games on next gen at 30 FPS
That's a good reason to be worried. There will be an "uncapped" feature, but there's no telling how effective that'll be until we see it first hand. And I agree with what you said about new games not being 60 fps.
@@reesiekups yes they are limited but most merchant replenish their stock. The portal stone, however, are super limited and they are what's important, for you can only fast travel to them(where you put it) and major town/s.

Number 5 is inaccurate. (Assuming dd2 is same as DD1) Dragon's dogma has fast travel but it is a consumable item and cost a lot of gold.
