The ancient girl is of such importance but the governor left her unguarded and unattended. This is after the intruder as well. The story is sort of falling apart.
The smart governor started behaving dumb after 1.2 hours into the show. An intruder came and snatched tge critical herb and he went after the guy. Instead of fighting to grab the herb back as a priority, he stopped to ask "who sent you here". No 1 stupid. Us tge herb nit critical? No 2 stupid. You think the intruder will tell you, just because you asked? This is something I noticed about most chinese stories. Eventually the main characters starts behaving like morons.
Supposed smart guy.. an ancient with super powers offered to teach him powers but he said NO. Given the dangerousctimes and enemies after his blood, would anyone with any brsins say NO? Bad to worse..
There are so many things wrong with the story telling, it is not funny. At 2 hr. the hero and the Ancient came to a monolith. The hero threw a long long chain and hook to climb.. of course the girl sprouted wings and flew up alongside. Then he fell and the girl catches him and flew. Niw comes the question. The girl had carried him while flying away in earlier episodes. What the heck makes him climb with a hook and chain? Brain not working? It is just getting worse and worse.
