I went to the Salvation army today and I bought the Paw patrol boat with all parts for $5. It sells on Ebay for $70 to $150! I'll try this out for a bit.
I saw your other video on toys and decided to dive in. I bought two $2.99 bags from Goodwill that each had a toy I recognized. I didn’t do comps until I got home, and was disappointed that each toy I recognized wasn’t worth much. I thought I wasted $6. Then I started looking up the rest of the toys. HOLY MOLY! A toy I would have thrown away if I had found it under the seat of the car was selling for $12 on Etsy! My 6 year old granddaughter saw the toys and told me what they all were. Almost every one had value as part of a lot if I collected them. I think I’m going to take her to Goodwill with me next time. Lol I’m limiting myself to two bags a week for now because they do take some time to research, but this is good to know for garage sales. Who knew those vintage Happy Meal toys were worth money? I’m kicking myself that I threw all of the ones I got in those hundreds of Happy Meals (I had four kids) away. I think every parent should buy their kid two of every toy and keep the second one new in the box in the garage and tell them that’s for the kid’s retirement. Lol
That's not a bad idea! Haha You may just score big eith a little helper like that 🙂 She is probably more knowledgable than the rest of us! Best of luck with your future sourcing and collecting and thanks so much for watching 😊 We appreciate you!
Garage Sales, Yard Sales and Estate Sales out where I live really suck....is there any other places you would suggest I could find these toys? Whenever I go to Savers or Goodwill around me, the hanging bags are ALWAYS opened....people make a hole in them and take out and steal the good stuff. Goodwill and Savers does NOT have ANY Loss Prevention or Security in their stores!
You can also check some of the big box stores for clearance items, although you won't get as much for the price. Keep an eye out on FB marketplace, and for closing daycares or childcare centers in your area. You could also try talking to the staff at Savers and other thrift stores and ask what day they typically put out the toy bags so you can try and plan at least one sourcing trip around that!
In case you read this I would like to ask if you have a huge lot of specific characters in my case sky landers just got more I would it be better to sell in small lots or a huge lot thanks in advance in case you read this I think I may need to order the book
It really depends on a cases by case basis. Although bigger lots may seem like a great idea, keep in mind they will cost more to ship, and may be harder to package correctly.
I would love to start buying and selling toys on eBay but I’m a little intimidated to start because of shipping. What are some best methods for boxing up and selling toys?
It depends on the toy size, but the usual boxes should be fine. Find the one that can fit the toy snugly, without chance of crushing it. Add some bubble wrap or packing paper to help cushion it and you are good to go👍🏻
I was intimidated of shipping too.. but it's easy. There are tons of videos on youtube that will show you how. You can print labels straight off ebay as well. Toys should weight less than one pound so they can go be weight - first class for 2-4$
It's all about self discipline! It's always hard when you are your own boss to manage your time efficiently. Learning how to organize and manage your day is a big help. When you get too much inventory to list yourself, you can simply hire someone to help!
Brandon taught me a lot on vintage toys, but I do appreciate this guy’s knowledge on current toys. My daughter loved Super WHY on PBS. That stuff does sell fast bc they didn’t make many!! Good content guys.
Sometimes even broken parts will still sell. Look up comparable conditioned items and see how they are selling to know if it's going to be worth it for you or not.
You just have to get used to seeing certain keys in the search results, especially high priced items that have varying items. At the end of the day it's always a personal call but sometimes it can benefit you!
I have a few of the Polly Pocket compact playset's from the 90's. Although most of my Polly collection the larger Pollys, is from 2000 and up. I started buying them for my grandchildren who came to live with me and kept buying them until a few years ago, when they changed the body shape, big heads, big feet, skinny arms. At one time we had numerous limos, 2 jets, a cruise ship several yachts, several waterfall lagoons, numerous shopping boutiques and malls, and my favorite, PollyWorld Rockin Theme Park. They are all grown up now and I have given some of it away, but I probably still have a couple hundred Pollys and some playsets. I've kept them in case they want them for their children. I wish that I had kept the Thomas the Tank set, Legos, and K'Nex.
Well, now you have some extra things to look for when sourcing. If you still want to "save them for your grandchildren" you could always ask about or open up a savings account for each of them and every time one of the items sells, put a percentage into each account. They would still benefit from them, although in a different way.
@@Raikenprofit That is a good idea, but maybe I need to play with them a few more times first. It has been quite a few years since I have looked thru them. To make sure everything is in working order and clean and all. Then I will ask them.
Thanks, I am so excited to go buy your guide. Don't know if you have mentioned Lego. We have acquired sets and bulk brick, Vinnie any tips on how to sell this type of toy for the best profit? OR can you do a video on this topic if it is profitable or not. Thanks for everything!
Hello guys, Great video and tips. I have a few questions. 1- how many toys of a series/ group do you gather before you make a lot out of them? Do they all have to be of the same type (i.e. paw patrol in cars, mechanical/ wind-up, squishy or standing on their own to lot them or can they be mixed? 3- do you calculate the price of each toy from the bag, then add them together in the lot (so you know what your cost was) before you list or do you just lot them and figure out your own price (by comps, solds, etc.)? Thanks.
Thanks for the comment, and fantastic questions! The amount always varies, if we only find 3 of a set one day sourcing most likely they are getting lotted up together and listed. As far as mixing or matching both is fine depending on your goals. If you know that two toys go together and are more likely to sell because of collectors, then list them together. Pricing goes by the comps for each toy, then a little bit of a discount for a bulk buy usually. Some lots of good comps to go off of as well so always look for other lots listed!
@@Raikenprofit I just purchased the Gold Package of your ebooks (8 ebooks + bonus guide). I think I need all the help I can get. I just left the GW bins for the 1st time. I got about 1000 toys ( plus a few other things) for under $60.00. AMAZING. TTYL

Great info! Thanks
Thanks for watching, Timothy!
Great info, as always. Thank you!
Thanks for watching, Lisa!
Great info thanks
Man I just passed up 3 of imagination x Batman toys and I see the calico critters and little pet shop all the time!! This great info!!!
Now you know to snag them instead! Thanks for watching, Richard🙂
Just score 5 bags all Imaginext yesterday! Posted a video. I forgot what they are called but I remember you guys talking about them.
Could you put a Vinnie play list together please? Vinnie ROCKS!
That's awesome, Dannos! Thanks for watching, and I just might do that!
Gotta get my kids old toys listed! They're teens and played with a lot of these. My son has a bunch of Bakugan!
Best of luck and happy listing!
If your a reseller your house becomes a warehouse
So true🤣🤣🤣
Does this guy have a youtube channel?
Vinny does not. Hope to have him on mine more though!
Very informative thank you
I learned about bay blades just two years ago when my 7-yr old nephew asked me to buy him one as a gift.
Have you resold any since then?
Thanks for the cool info
Thanks for watching, Charley! Appreciate you 😊
I love selling toys. Esp with matching books!
hi guys! is vinnie from ct?
I have been buying the large containers from goodwill with tape all over the top. Gold mine. Toys, push, beanie babies and the containers are great for storing items.
About 85% of my inventory is toys - FBA.
Love the videos! Thanks!
That's awesome! What's your best selling one so far?
@@Raikenprofit Probably the Knex building sets. Got a bunch from liquidation, $80 profit each during q4!
Bayblades is actually BeyBlades ( was a cartoon network show )
Thanks for the tip!
"B-A-Y-B-L-A-D-E-S." Two seconds later puts the cover back on the box with the Beyblades logo right on it spelt out for him. Lol.
Very informative video. Some of this I knew but some are good to know in the future.
Another one that sells for me is Shopkins. If you can find them cheap you can get 30 dollars for a lot of 150 of those things. There are even individual Shopkins that are worth 50 plus 30 plus if you do your research.
Awesome awesome info!! Thanks!! I’m new to your YT channel, do you guys also have an instagram?
Thanks for joining us, Martha! I have one, but Vinny does not. You can find me @raikenprofit on Instagram 👍🏻
Like always you watch these videos you make money. That easy. Great thing is I have bought most of these at yard sales for my kids. So I have tons of this stuff just laying around. Looks like Super Y is going Super Bye. Lol
🤣 That's hilarious, Elliot! Best of luck sneaking them out😊 Thanks for watching, man!
Wow! Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for watching, Lisa! Appreciate you😁
I love the tip how to tell if they are Imaginext! Thank you 😊
Always! Thanks for watching😁
This is good! Is there an updated popular toy list for 2021? I know the classics always sell, but maybe some things people are totally "over" and aren't trending anymore.
Furbys sell fast. Star wars stuff. Vintage Gameboys .
Thanks for the tips!
