Ok let’s see if you can beat my army
A few rules first no catapults or mammoths allowed (takes the difficulty out of it)
(If your computer gets to laggy just remove an army)
Map: ancient sandbox or any really big open map without obstacles
(Make sure the mele fighters are as close as they can to the row in front of them and there guys around them. The formation is important)
1st: shields from ancient faction 10 long 1 deep
2nd: hoplites 10 long 2 deep
3rd: long stick dudes (the 90 money guys from ancient) 10 long 1 deep
(Put a bit of space between the archers and the close up fighters)
4th: 15 archers in a > formation
5th: 7 snake archers in a ] formation
Put 2 of these armies if possible you do not have to if lag is overwhelming

add 3 knights to the front and a row of 3 healers in the back after the long stick bois and instead of 15 archers put 10 archers and 5 ice archers (ice archers at the tip of the >

Quick tip with bards, don't have a perpendicular line behind them. When they run away, they run towards the line. set up a gap for the bard to run through, and it will work much better. basically give him enough room so that his aggressors stay focused on him, and don't change targets to the ranged units.
