Another nice playthrough. The reduced visibility does make it a longer game, but good for a change of pace; changes the strategy. I keep meaning to ask you about the wooden dice. I have a newer version of memoir 44 and it came with plastic dice, wooden dice look like they roll more.
Hey thanks for the comment Colin. The rounded wooden dice came with older printings. I have two sets of wood dice and one of them is high quality, slightly yellow and no chips or peeled off paint at all. They look brand new and the other is pure white and has lost a lot of paint from the the symbols and you can tell they came in a much more cheaply produced package. The tiles and cards from my two different base games are different quality too. The older one is darker and much more rich in color and the newer one is lighter and more yellow than green. I think I read that the first printings were from Europe so they were better then it switched to China but I don't know for sure. I like the rounded wooden dice way more than the plastic square ones. Cheers and thanks for watching.
Great vid! The US would have won if you had placed the right tank in the hex between the town and the forest in the last US turn. Ce la guerre i guess 😅
@@jonplaysmemoir4461 I was thinking it could have gotten line of sight on the fleeing german inf? But I just realised US would still be one point short. Agree with the dice, and what a diffrent game the reduced visibility made. Anyways, very good upload as usual!
@@carlfageras3702 Yeah when I was editing, I realized that I should have put the tank between the German tank and single figure in case of a flag. Good eye! But yeah, I would have still been one short without the other one in the middle on the road.

Hey thanks for the comment! I'm not sure what you mean about the tank. The US could have won with better dice on the last turn for sure.
