JM signed my copy of the market gardener on Gabriela island in 2014. My wife and I were wwoofing on Vancouver Island at the time. We will be moving to the island in the summer of 2025 to live and work on a friends farm in Lake Cowichan. The dream is still alive and this guy is part of that inspiration. Thanks JM for keeping on keeping on💪🏽

I'm trying to replicate your work to some extent in Japan, where absolutely nobody believes it can be done on a small scale. I'm going into my third year full-time and I really appreciated the commentary on this tour. I got frustrated last winter seeing your new big farm and Neversink and all these hugely successful run like a machine farms that I want to be like, and it just felt like I was failing. You reminded us here that this is not to brag, it's to show what's possible. Sometimes it's easy to forget that you and Connor have decades building these beautiful systems and are just showing us what is possible to grow the revolution.

@@duncaneisenslade2381 natural farming is not as successful and common in Japan as people in other countries think. It’s kinda seen as woo farming by the consumers which is why I try to differentiate my farm from natural farms even though I do use a lot of natural farming methods.

Please JM, can you make an extra video about growing your herbs? That would be super interesting! Here too, the planting distances are much smaller than in normal cultivation.

Bye Bye
