After going through 5 of the big box $250 dehumidifiers in 8 years I decided to purchase the Alorair. I am hoping it will last longer than the others since it was about 2 times the cost. You are right it pumps out a lot of exhaust air and is louder than I am used to but that is ok.
I got tired of wasting money on the cheaper versions that barely last a year & paid up for this unit. It's been about a year now & I'm loving it. I paid around $500 with tax on Amazon during a "Lightening Sale". Love the 5 year warranty & the build quality is top notch, all metal & easy service access if needed. Well worth the extra money for a quality unit.
I really need something like this but for the inside of my house for a smaller area. I don't like the all plastic crap ones that are on the market for inside of the home. I'm renting; I do not have the ability to put it in a crawl space. I need it in the bedroom. Especially for the winter. I've been searching and searching I just don't want to buy the $200 crap ones that almost always fail. I hope someone has an idea and they could give me a suggestion?!

I see you have a groundworks company basement gutter system with the access ports
I believe they suggest 3 feet distance from the intake clear and 6 feet in front of the exhaust.
Any updates after 7 months? Thanks
I like the hd35p better
@@applisense thanks I’ll check it out

A better humidity setting would be 45-55%
