Rock said he called Will when the story first broke about August and Jada but Will didn't take his calls. Rock knew Will didn't want to hear nothing about Jada from him. Rock ain't innocent.

@@mattgoldberg4335 well, I believe they are going to have more security this time round, and make the stage less accessible. No-one will be able to hop onto the Oscars stage so easily. I believe they have a plan in place now in case anything like this ever happens again.
To my mind, this is what should have happened after the siap:
1. Chris Rock should have left the stage immediately, and
2. Will Smith should have been escorted out. Oscar winner or not.
The fact he received a standing ovation and went on to party the night away was ludicrous.

We literally don't know how Will felt, this is just a discussion on a nameless and faceless source making a claim. Quite frankly, the only people who found Chris Rock's comedy special funny are people still living in the 90s. The discussion about it came and went quickly. This segment is just a cheap attempt at promo for the Oscars since "the Slap" is the most promo, discussion, and buzz that the program has had in years. Hence why over a year later people are still trying to milk it. Surprise! Surprise! ABC is hosting the Oscars this year!
In my opinion, Will slapped Chris openly so Chris should be able to joke of it openly. Will Smith earned that spot in Chris Rock's comedy special. Also, black women must step into the 21st century and develop tougher "public skin". Chris originally made a G.I. Jane reference about Jada Pinkett Smith's short haircut, although it was due to a skin condition that FEW PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT. It was a joke, she is in the public eye, let it be funny.
