Just hired a handyman installed R838 today, range hood is shipped unasssembled, took him 3 hours to complete the installation. Product stainless steel looks cheap and fan is loud. I’m hoping filter works well.

My model is R767, one of the fans not working, although there is sound of trying to start the motor when turning on, can you tell me what could be the cause ? I am in Canada near Toronto.

Could someone please help me by telling me how to remove the stainless steel baskets to replace the aluminum filter and clean inside? A video or step by step tutorial would be helpful. I can't seem to figure mine out and they badly need cleaning!

Each fan grille is held on by one screw, just unscrew that and take it out. You can also spray degreaser inside the fan blades and the separated grease should be in the grease container

@@ix.cryo1 is there no way to remove the fan blades? I accessed a screw on the fan hub but it only allows height adjustment.

@@kockgunner hmm, have you tried to unscrew the screw fully?

@@kockgunner On my older R-747 model, you must remove the plastic shaft covers to expose the locking screws for the fans. Once you fully loosen the locking screw, the fan assembly will drop off the motor shaft. Reverse to reinstall. Btw, depending on your fan model, you may have to remove the inner body plate to be able to drop the fans out (only 5 or 6 screws0
