Great video, love these Q & A videos, and their actual demonstration. Scale model building is solitary hobby, as well as painting with an air brush, typically. So when problems arise you only have yourself available to resolve the issue. This is why utube is such a great asset it can provide solutions to these problems, especially when they come from the manufacturer directly. I hope Gaalheria teams continues with this process of reaching out to us directly. Thank you.

I have a swallowtail and I must say it’s a great airbrush and use it for priming with 5mm needle. However; I would empathize proper cleaning after each use. Especially the the nozzle and nozzle cap area. Keep it clean and it will last a very long time! Great video as always!

@@gaahleristudio If I may make a suggestion for identifying needles: With TIG welding Tungsten electrodes, which are very similar to these needles. The back end of the electrodes have just a few mm's dipped in different color paint. The colors are standardized, I believe, across brands. A different color for each size.
In the scope of production manufacturing, this is a low tech and relatively unobtrusive method for marking. Also very low cost compared to engraving, etc. If I had to guess, the paint is likely something akin to nail polish given it's needed and achieved durability in an industry/ metal working environment.
      Hope this is helpful!
I have a cart full on your website. I was just undecided on the B-Rex Swallowtail or the 98D. I think I'm leaning towards the Swallow as a weldor with decades of MIG and some TIG welding. So trigger pull muscle memory is well established.
      Thanks!

I advised my friend to get one of these for his birthday and after getting it thought it to beautiful to use but after much leg pulling he’s now using it and absolutely loves it 😍😍😍 I’ve been on invalidity for a few years now but I’m saving as much as I can each month so I can purchase my own. Ever since seeing Barbatos Rex using his and saying how extraordinarily good and inventive it was ( the nozzle connection and airflow ) I’ve been on a mission to purchase my own as the old Chinese knock off airbrush I have is now causing me trouble. Hopefully in four or five months I will have saved enough money to purchase my own swallowtail airbrush as I’m extremely impressed by this particular airbrush and it’s wonderful features 🤓😎🤩 so thank you very much for building these beautiful airbrushes and I look forward to placing my order very soon 🤞🤞🤞😅👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great video! Nice to see clear, well shot close-ups of what you are talking about!
*** Something that may be helpful to ad, is clarifying the term "Tightening". This is a relative term to the tool or situation. "Tighten" in the context of airbrush parts is not the same as "Tighten" when putting a nozzle on a garden hose or a nut on a 1" bolt, on a bulldozer!!! Very big and important distinction. An o-ring, crushed flat, is no longer a functioning o-ring, but more akin to a washer or gasket. And those don't come spec'd on an airbrush for a reason..... 😁👍

    For orders to Canada:
    Where do you ship from?
What's a rough estimate for receiving an order?
Can I choose the carrier? (If from the US, USPS hands off to Canada Post. This is a much, much better method for Canadians!!! Shipping anything UPS is, in my personal and professional manufacturing experience, out of the question!!!!)
Thanks very much! Looking forward to ordering once I know a few of these details.

Well...the airbrush isn't bad, but in my experience the fan cap doesn't work . I ordered the StudioG solely because of the fan cover - the cap itself has air leaks . After a week of checking and communicating with support, they sent me a new fan cap - same story. All other cap/nozzle sets work well (no leaks). Another week with customer service and they sent me a new airbrush BUT the problem is still with me - air leakage only with the FAN CUP. So I gave up and am willing to buy a Grex or Iwata with a fan cover.

I’m having NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS ! with my mobius 0.2 ! I was doing a very crucial painting and the mobius 0.2 kept failing intermittent spray pattern and every time I’d clean it it would work for a little bit then I’d look and have tons of bubbles ! In the cup I cleaned the needle and nozzle with alcohol even put a new O ring seal on the nozzle and when I put fluid in the cup when I pressed down for air ! bubbles would form but when I pulled back for paint the bubbles would stop ! This airbrush costed me a client and a very intricate rendering was utterly ruined ! I had to start all over with my IWATA micron ! I expected high hopes for this airbrush I kept it exquisitely clean and it still failed was it the nozzle or the MAC valve ? I’m at my end of patience this airbrush promised something and failed miserably only after a few weeks of use ! I’m so disappointed so I’ve been using my Iwata and it hasn’t let me down EVER ! what is causing this malfunction in this airbrush so I can write a note to the company when I send it back !

    • @gaahleristudio
      @gaahleristudio  6 місяців тому

The problem you are experiencing is likely due to the nozzle cap not being tightened properly. You can try tightening it first before installing the needle, which should theoretically resolve the issue. For detailed guidance, you can refer to our QA video at the 1:00:10 mark, titled "Why are there bubbles in the fluid cup, and why is the spraying intermittent?" I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you continue to encounter issues after trying this solution, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service, and we will provide you with a resolution.

The problem with your Airbrushes/Company is your products are cheaply made and come in a pretty box. When you unbox them they are utter trash, issues out of the box and a company that fails to acknowledge these issues and just sends you another broken airbrush if the first one is broken.
The mass promotions online worked, you guys established yourselves as a "serious" company, but until you decide to actually fix your issues at the root of it all, your products will still be.... cheap Chinese trash.
This is not a common issue with a good quality airbrush, this is a common issue with trash parts and cheap mass production ABs.

OK maybe you are on something. But H&S just improved their Airbrushes this year after they maybe lost a amount of clients to Gaahleri. And that is just because 1 thing. The fixing process of a problem will take longer as you may think. You have to consider a few things: How much body,s the have in stock?? Maybe for a whole year production. ,They have to adapt, test, adapt, test etc irst a small amount of body,s,to complete them, send them to users wich are testing that improved A-B,s in the field. Take 2 months for it. Then they need to change ALL the body,s to those updates. Then brinmg them on the Market. Will take at least 4-6 months. Fixing a problem in a mass produced product like a A-B is not as easy as you may think. I use 2 now of the Gaahleri A-B the 38 and the first generation pistolgrip, and have no complaints at all. And i push everything that looks, smells and i liquid like a paint through it. From Diluted nailpolish with the cheap ~4,- a gallon thinner untill the expensive Zero Paint 2k Diamond clear through it. And have no complains.Maybe lucky me.But i have a ultra sonic cleaner. Every week my nozzle, needle, cup and cap are taking a bath from 12 minutes with some dishwasherliquid in it and WATER. Maintenance is key with these kinds of machinery or instruments. Thinking of buying at least 2 39,s and a swallowtail at the end of june. Then i can get dedicated A-B,s and have them always in perfect working order. For the money i will spend on those 3 A-B i cannot by a H&S Infinity 2 in 1 CR. And i am now on the age that i will not airbrush for another 25 or 30 years. Yes maybe quality is less than at the big brands. But not everybody has lets say ~350 ,- laying around for a A-B with compressor.

It says something when you think a country has anything to do with the quality of a product. And most airbrushes are mass produced. Likely in whole or in part, in China. Even the most expensive units.
Given your recent activation on YT, I wonder how old you are or if you aren't a troll from a competitor, as things you've stated don't line up with a dozens upon dozens of YT reviews of Gaahleri's products.
Care to clarify your experience and credentials? Or be specific, rather than just meaningless generalizations and false assumptions? Perhaps make your first video for your YT channel and backup your claims?
      Thanks.
