Impressive fx animation. Reminds me a bit of Yoshinari, which is always a good thing!

+The Blue Sky I've not heard of this animator but will look into their work. Dunno about a dedicated MAD since Toei are a bit iffy after having deleted a video of mine haha.

Looks rather mediocre. Except for Tokyo Ghoul. Maybe i should check that out. Can you do a video about Masahiro Ando?

+tobanga feufeu you're crazy. Do you know how hard animation is? Let's also not forget that they still use paper meaning that you cant instantly check your animation.

+Pach Pacheco I think he's crazy too. But not only because of how hard it is to animate, but also because the FX animation that is in most this video looks genuinely very impressive. I mean, the cuts from OPM and Dragon crisis were breathtaking.
Maybe he thought this was a choreography video or something.

+tobanga feufeu Well I'm certrain that 1:54 and 2:17 and 1:41 are not very impressive. And as far as I know "mediocre" means not that bad, not that good. And what bullshit argument is that "animation is hard"? Are we forbidden to criticize animation because it's hard?
But Dragon Crisis does have an interesting look now that you mention it.

+tobanga feufeu The definition of mediocre is "of only moderate quality; not very good." There is no positive connotation associated with that word. Hence my argument about your word choice and your views on animation is the same; don't talk what you don't know. My first comment was exhorting you to not simply bash his work without knowing what the process is like. Try to animate one of the non-impressive scenes yourself then I'm sure you will learn to respect him a little more without crapping on his work.
Now, are there better animators out there? Yes. However, I am sure there are far more worse animators than better. Once again, you can criticize, I am just saying do it in a more constructive manner. And if you do not know how to animate yourself, why should anyone listen to you. That'd be like me telling a surgeon that he's mediocre. What the hell do I know about surgery. Talk if you can constructively criticize.

+Pach Pacheco I get the impulse to defend the animators work and i agree that the comment could have been more constructive but i think its fine to criticize even if you don't know that much about animation because most can just tell when something isn't as good as something else. Especially in this video but i do agree just saying something is mediocre and that being the extent of the criticism doesn't come off particularly well.
