There's not much of a weaving presence around me locally, so I always look forward to your videos. The hardest thing with autoimmune disease in my experience (in my case rheumatoid arthritis) is listening to your body and not pushing yourself to the point of exhaustion. That, and giving yourself some grace when you don't get as much done as you planned. Take care of yourself!

The studio is coming along beautifully. So sorry that you're having health issues. They're not unlike my own, so I hope that you find your hormonal equilibrium. That goes for the thyroid stuff as well. Please take food care of yourself. Your weaves look great, as always!❤

Hugs. My mom had hypothyroidism, I do not think it was Hashimoto's as it cleared up a few years after she moved back to Berlin Germany from California, at least that is what she said to me. But my mom suffered the same symptoms as far as I can remember, this all happened when I was under age 12 long ago. So I am very happy that you have a good doctor now taking care of you.
I also have a tendency to push myself beyond what I should, it doesn't help that I hyper focus and loose track of time, so much sympathy. I have Porphyria, some call it an autoimmune others say it is a genetic syndrome, to me the effects of attacking the body are the same. So I get the fatigue and tiredness and understand. If I push myself too hard or long, and this always has to do with larger organizing of my space projects/plans i am out of commission for 2-3 days after if lucky or it can cause the beginning of a flare up
. So please take care of yourself and pace yourself.
I love your shawl, it is the same colors my mom loved. Even without what i said, I think it looks stunning on you, it makes you look so pretty, really goes with your complexion. A bonus is it is light weight and will still keep you warm without being heavy.

My favorite online doctor for Hashimoto's is the thyroid pharmacist, Dr. Izabella Wentz. She's a licensed pharmacist who has/had Hashimoto's and developed a program. Of course consult your doctor, but Izabela talks a lot about diet and supplements. 💖🌞🌵😷

Kelly, this is unrelated to your video but I want to make a request. I receive Little Looms magazine each month and many of the projects have graphs and charts. I don't know how to read them! Do, or could you make a class that teaches weavers how to read these charts? I think there is a need. Please think about it. God bless.

16:04 it's a shame to put those pretty weavings in a box. Consider displaying them by hanging them on a dowel rod threaded through the center of each roll. They won't take up much room and will be pretty out on display. 💖🌞🌵😷

Thanks for sharing from your heart re your health issues. You are not alone!! I have recently discovered the great benefits of N-acetyl cysteine and inosotol. And you may benefit from checking in with Dr. Osborne on UA-cam. Having had hypothyroidism for about 15 years (diagnosed, anyway), I've learned there's so much more to treatment for thyroid problems than just taking the standard medical protocol. You'll get there! So many elements the body needs for good health! If we can get there without big pharma, I'm all for it.
