I've started telling myself that keeping the stickers are just going to make them faded and worthless. If I use them, I can enjoy them inside my book forever since I keep my books.

I think the possibilities with a weeks are endless, I've seen some really functional layout videos recently that really have me excited for the new year.
It’s so easy to make the weeks exactly what you need it to be!
24:55 you can use reposition-able tape on the back to use and move the sticker later. Or fold a small piece of washi tape on the back.

I agree with keeping to the calendar year although I understand being swept up in the excitement of starting a new planner. That said, this year I am starting my Weeks now because I've changed my system (adding an A6) and so I have a 'trial month' to see if it will work. Or not.
In that case I understand starting it early. I’ll be using this one until 1/1. 🤓
I totally get you on the stickers thing. I horard them forever and I can never decide where to use them 😅

Enjoyed watching your video. And was actually setting up my trackers in the back of my weeks while watching. Can sympathize with the choosing of stickers. I take screenshots of quotes and print them out on my Ivy printer. So it’s always difficult choosing ones to put on the inside cover. As well as having a couple happy planner sticker books to choose from.
We love The Blacklist too! My husband and I have a hard time finding a series we both stayed interested in, and this is our #1.
I really enjoy your videos and watching your process. Thank you for talking thru it on camera. I do the same and can relate. Your voice is also so calming you could problem read the sports section and I'd be calmed. 😂😂

19:22 I’m in the same camp. Unless you aren’t in a system or your system is broke and you need to move it. But otherwise I’m in the finish your current planner and start the new one in the new year.

Using a glue stick on the backing helps to remove it and use again

@@samplans yes, glue stick on the backing of a sticker makes it easy to remove the sticker and use it again. I reuse my stickers a lot

😉Totally understood your sticker dilemma with the butterfly. This year I switched from the Hobonichi weeks to the Sterling Ink Weeks. Moving into the new planner starting today. 🤷♀ I enjoyed this set up video and look forward to future videos. I hope you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving!

Is the 2024 weeks still going to be your archive planner ie back planned in? Sounds like you plan on using this as a daily planner. It’s great if you have to decided to use it daily, I am just a little confused
No matter what I’m using, the Weeks is the planner that I try to keep updated. It’s also the one I will keep, when most others get tossed.

Love, love, love that show, have been a James Spader fan since the movies in the 80s with the “ bratty crew”. I havent set mine up yet, but I got the Cats book and cant wait to use it! If I had room for them, I would have a bazillion cats and be that “Crazy Cat Lady”!😂

I love this video!!! I finally found planner peace this year with the hobonichi weeks. I also planner hopped, but finally realized how much I love using the hobonichi. I put everything else up and have used only the hobonichi for over half the year. I am using it only for 2024. I certainly will be following you through the year!

I enjoy the set up, part the most, as well. I’m basically a new subscriber and one of the best things I love about your videos is the similarity. I see in myself considering I’m 59 years old. I don’t know if it shows you on that side but this is the second time I’m watching this video because it almost feels therapeutic to see somebody who has similar creativity. Especially at my age, I hid my stationary/paper love for most of my life. When Staples stores first came out, people who knew me joked and called me the Staples queen but around 2014 when I found the planner hobby on UA-cam, I literally uncaged the beast. And it’s not that we have the same style slightly I suppose, but not really. It’s more just the way you process it the way you place things out and look at them and make different classifications of piles and what not as you’re working on things. Anyway, I am a disabled, retired midwife, who educated her four adult sons and who married her high school sweetheart and it’s been 42 years now. Thanks for all that you share. I wish I had opened up to it when I was your age. But I’m grateful that it’s not considered as odd or weird or nerdy as it used to be.
Hello and thanks for subscribing! I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 27 years, we homeschooled (well two are still doing so) our six children. I’ve always been a bit obsessed with pens and paper, and people have remarked on it. Just one of my many quirks. 😉

YES! I love to decorate the inside of my HoBo weeks. I have always said ( about myself) I just said what everyone else is thinking! lol I already have decorated mine for the coming year. I love The Black List also.

I think I was the first person I saw do it. Everyone started the whole Washi tape thing and that wasn’t for me, but I wanted to decorate it, and it stuck. My favorite part of the weeks setup!
