He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition.
What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯.
And there is another awesome version of Diva Dance. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰.
You can react this two songs together because the Bastau version is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video.

How he sings these notes is a technique called "staccato" (that means "detached"). It is a very difficult classical singing technique that Dimash mastered as anybody else. It is kind of his signature as men hardly do it, the true"king of the staccato"...
Dimash learned it early in his life. In an interview, he said that from childhood he heard his mother singing "staccato" (her mother is a classic trained soprano famous in his country) and he thought that the "normal singing" included doing "staccato"... So he trained until he could do it perfectly... 😂😂😂 Hug from Brazil!

I see you got some recommendations for his music video The Story Of One Sky on your channel. The MV was released on September 24, 2022 . He worked on this composition for three years. BUT, please do yourself a favor and slow down. It's far too early for that. I don't want to offend anyone, but the video left even die-hard Dears/fans speechless. Imagine stepping out of the Middle Ages and boarding a rocket without ever having ridden a train. I think the comparison fits quite well. Maybe you should wait a little longer and listen to some other, more "normal" Dimash songs first (whatever „normal“ means when it comes to Dimash😅). Normally this song and especially the MV is not the best video for reactors who don't know Dimash that well. Dimash surpasses himself with his vocal skills that I can't even describe. The video is the best I've ever seen. The message that Dimash wants to convey in this video is very important for him and for us and I think also for today's world. But believe me when I tell you that focusing on both is incredibly difficult, if not impossible. The video is full of symbolism. No camera angle is unwanted, every scene has meaning and should be watched carefully to understand the video. And then of course there's his voice. He has so many beautiful "older" songs in so many genres and languages that will blow your mind. Get to know him first. He's getting better and better. Please, you are in no hurry. Enjoy getting to know him. Take your time, you won't miss anything. As the saying goes: the way is the goal.
Just start with SOS at China Singer competition 2017 and look forward to each new video. Or maybe the second performance of Opera2, because you've already reacted to the SOS from the Slavic Bazaar 2018/digital version from 2021 (but the Singer version is also worth seeing).
