Forensic scientist who examined evidence testifies at trial of Samantha Woll's alleged killer

Kathleen Gill, a forensic scientist with the Michigan State Police's forensic science division, testifies on Thursday, June 27 at the trial of Samantha Woll's alleged killer. Michael Jackson-Bolanos is standing trial for murder and other charges in June in connection with the Oct. 21, 2023, stabbing of Woll at her Detroit home.

There should be a box around the witness for privacy and a table area for her binder and papers. It is hard to sit modestly in a dress in front of people - it is really hard when you are sitting up higher than the people in the courtroom. It also hard to shuffle and organize and read papers balanced on your lap.
