It's like JK armaments decided, "hey let's make something for that one guy who just loves shotguns and is poor as shit." Fucking love this
That one guy? It's just me?
@@stevem4783 I love shotguns and boderline poor as shit. Guilty af
“Well yes I know him, he’s me”
@@fj400007 my man
Only poor because of gun addiction, struggle is real.
Old lady in my neighborhood: “ I used to love feeding the geese in my neighborhood but I haven’t seen them in weeks!”
Me: “damn that’s crazy”
🤣
Have you seen any of my cats?
No ma'am, I sure haven't!
@@h8thytsmy cats, your dogs…
She lives in Springfield, Missouri.
I will buy this. It's nice to see Vaseline being used after the purchase rather than before.
lmao
Seriously though, it's nice to hear them say "it's petroleum jelly" instead of "its a s00per secret special sauce brand new patented silencer lube that you must use with our cans or it voids the warranty; order a subscription of it from our website for only $29.99/month!", lol
Use petroleum jelly as clp for long term storage to prevent rust
You missed the part where dude said they ship it with petroleum jelly on it. So you do get the lube before purchase. Although, really - as good as this product is they could be asking north of a grand for even the shorty
@@robertf6523 lol, think you missed the joke on this one
Holy smokes this might be the coolest shit at Shot Show atm.
Modular shotgun suppressors I can load with KY JELLY?
My Mossberg and I needed this intimacy in our relationship.
There's a joke with your only 12-gauge girth in there somewhere.
Please, no jokes about mounting …
@@matt11885 Didn't you hear the guy? The aluminum 'trumpet' baffles are designed to force softer materials through them, so size shouldn't be a problem!
I'm sorry to hear your dicks 12 gauge. I'm rocking a 4 gauge myself lol
I was an RSO at one of the events at shot show where the JK Armament suppressor was used on an M870 and I was highly impressed. Hundreds of rounds were sent through it with no issues, it took an absolute beating. The suppression was excellent as well and my ears didn't complain afterwards while being VERY close to the gun. It's awesome and made me love shotguns all over again!
The dude in the background at 2:52 is thinking; “well looking at these other mustaches I appear to be in the right place. Oh wait, there’s James never mind”
🤣
Comes with captive bolt addon and +10 dmg if user has a bowl cut.
😂😅🥸
What, no toe trixxer adapter! Lol
That fractal "trumpet" design is genious. Ive been designing 12g using inconel carrier rails that align spaced wipes, and this is the total opposite direction. I love it.
Very impressed with these guys and this product.
Just when I thought I was done buying suppressors...
I hope they don’t catch a strike for installing and removing a can.
They prob will big tech is actively attacking and trying to pwrmaban the freedom loving people and 2a related channels
Again
They will knowing youtube. They are going after guntubers hard with ever changing rules.......
I hope they get bann3d permanently. Stop depending on UA-cam
Time for rumble
Nobody:
Suppressor: You want me to be longer? I can be longer.
Really would like to see this run on a IWI TS12
ditto
I run the Rex can on a ts12. Waiting for the jk to come in to compare.
i just want to see how these things pattern, if they pattern well it’s great for a trap shotgun
Yeah, looking at the muzzle opening, you'll probably want to use the full choke!
7.9" obviously they have done their homework on optimal length.
$1000 suppressor package for my $400 shotgun. I’m all in 👍
Ya see your point .... Problem solved $1300 shotgun and $1000 Silencer = Priceless
Think of this suppressor as buying gun optics. Always worth it.
Dang, I thought I was done with my tricked out benelli m4 😅
Just sucks that the ATF debacle might make stamp approval much more delayed 😒
I can adjust the length to my liking and it comes pre-lubed, oh yeah I want one.
Damn a cool new suppressor in an under appreciated caliber and it has a reasonable price.
Let's see this on an iwi ts12!
after the Salvo 12, I only have 1 question: will it actually make the damn gun quieter
I’m just glad to see the boss with tattoos because he don’t look like a normal gun company owner I bet he’s cool
Biden: "Come on man, all you need is a shotgun"
JK Armament: *Laughs in silencer*
full auto 7" silencer*
Expect to wait over 1 year to get your Form 4 back. Especially with the new brace ban. They lied about the 90 days E-File, it's now 270+ days and they still lie and say 8 months. It's definitely past 9 months currently 😪
tyranny
Yup. Waited just about 10 months for mine, and this was using eforms. You can also count on the system being completely gridlocked for a full year plus from all the cowards who take up their offer of the "free" SBR registration (that's probably part of their intent though).
This is dope. I need this for my KSG that I shoot skeet with
what i've read is they have adapters that are treaded for inside and outside mounting. like the beretta 1301 has treads inside for the chock kits that come with them so you're good there for the inside adapter. so $600+ for 8"silencer, $180 for the adapter and they have chock adapter for the end of the silencer. also it seems you need to reapply the jelly after every 50th round.
It would be cool if they designed a suppressor for Over Under shotguns & push for the manufactures to come up with a standardized mounting solution for their really expensive shotguns. Big deal for skeet shooting ranges.
Major Fudd vibes
If it's any consultation they have intergally surpressed over under for sure. They made a splash in England
@@tubeguy4066 Good market due to the competition scene is what Im saying. Maybe if it's good enough of a product the clubs would require suppressors is what I'm saying.
You could just have adapters that screw into the choke threads and then the can could just clip into the adapters. The problem is more about how to design baffles for each barrel when they're so close together. Maybe something that looks like a salvo 12 but with 2 holes and the baffles could look like the front plate but staggered through the can. But idk how well it would work because the gas from one barrel would probably just be pushed out of the opposite barrel. You could maybe put a very thin separation between the two but then you would have a pretty small baffle space.
@@tubeguy4066 Skeet is a sport, nothing fudd about it. You however just make yourself sound like you discovered guns last year lmao
That's awesome, I worry about my bird dog getting hearing damage.
Now jk needs to make an Anton chugar edition captive bolt cattle stunner too go with the shotgun silencer .
Did not expect Tex's voice lmao
this is the comment i was looking for lol
Wow….. we’ll done guys! Looking forward in seeing sone reviews of this in action.
the threading conversation was interesting, but for a rem 870 I would just buy a Carson home defense barrel for the same money that comes pre cut for chokes instead of getting the current barrel threaded. Since you can swap barrels for suppressed or not just as quick as if you wanted to take the suppressor off. Def a cool product tho, one of these might be in my future for coyote hunting although a end cap cut for chokes so I can still play with my pattern would be pretty cool. Everyone just seems to like running open cylinder these days tho, I am more of a extra tight choke enjoyer growing up shooting highflying geese.
They seem very laid back.
I wonder if someone will make a KSG barrel nut adapter for this? I would finally break down and do the paperwork to get a suppressor for one of these.
Yes, they do make a direct mount for the ksg.
I will definitely be sending them my barrel asap. One of my favorite products from SS23 so far.
They've got choke adapters for most shotgun brands
Does it come with bowl cut adapter kit?
Do they have mounts for VEPR or Benelli M4 pattern?
Yes I need this for my Vepr 12 bad !
they did say if you send in your barrel that they would thread and mount it for you. 170 buckaroos and shipping so sky is probably the limit on what shotgun its gunna go on.
@@danielzamora1530 both gun already have their own threads. Why do I need to send them in and pay extra 170? You didn't read my question, did you?
Hint - If you want technical information about a product that has *never been sold* , try contacting JK Armament rather than asking rando's in the UA-cam comments section.
@@BatCaveOz I'm asking the OP not rando. But randos just kept chime in, what can I say? 🤣
Is it ok to use ky jelly for wetting a can? ???
That's a hell of a wind chime.
New to the shotgun suppressors….this is for 12ga. Can you downsize and shoot a 20gauge with this can same as you would a .30cal can shooting 308/556?
If there's a remake of The Princess Bride, the guy in the cowboy hat can play a member of the Brute Squad😳
What choke did you use on that Gen-12 to direct thread the Versax?
Does grex build up? Is it ok for buckshot with no wadding?
Epic staches
Great video , answered all my questions. 👏👏
Does it need a plastic shot cup to work then? If you're reloading shells and just put a cardboard disk over the powder would the shot destroy the can?
im gonna guess that ya that would probably fuck with the system and cause actual baffle strikes. probably not recommended
Agreed not sure why it wasn't brought up. Tons of cheap factory buckshot is loaded just like that.
Yes.
@@BatCaveOz Yes to which question?
Wonderful, thanks for the info.
Nothing says "Arms Dealer" like a cowboy hat and a neck tattoo!
If it keeps the wad together, isn't this basically an extended barrel that ports the gasses off - kind of like those Angstadt Arms monocore guns?
It still has baffles, but the shape and spacing keep the wad together.
Whoa that's really really cool. Great thinking.
I don’t have a shotgun yet but now I need one… got a suppressor on my 10.5 AR and it’s butterrrr. Now I need em on all my guns
Not all shells use a shot cup tho.
Exactly, I'm super confused as to how this would actually work like they described... The wad is BEHIND the shot, so there is nothing to keep the shot from scattering inside the can without that cup.
@TheBaldFox idk why that wasn't asked.
@@xxxxxxxx183 probably because James is just a pretty face and doesn't actually know how shit works.
@@xxxxxxxx183 The salvo 12 is also a modular design but the baffles make much more sense in their design with horizontal rails that guide the shot down the chamber so that you do not have baffle strikes… I really think that this aluminum garbage is just a grift that won't actually ever be shipped... But I've been wrong before.
Hint - Don't buy cheap ammo.
Seen and heard the side-by-side with the Salvo 12. Salvo won.
Holy crap! I'm loving the price on it for once. I might actually get a suppressor and pay that stupid
God damnit. I'm buying a shotgun suppressor now.
Definitly worth to check it!!
Is it hot in here, or is that just the mustaches and petroleum jelly talking?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is the length the only difference between all 3 of the JK 195 suppressor's? Other than the breacher model having that flash hider style end cap, I Can't find any other difference other than the length. All 3 of them seem to be the exact same suppressor.
Really curious about if they have tested Steel/tungsten/bismuth shot in this. Aluminum baffles vs tungsten at 1300 fps would get ugly. (I know it’s within the wad, but shot string is a factor) Also federal flight control wads, compatible or not? Lastly why in gods hell did they pick the Rem choke pattern over MOBIL or Invector plus? That’s my biggest gripe
ua-cam.com/video/L2DMQ85zKMo/v-deo.html
Not exactly the test you're looking for, but it's pretty interesting.
That death tat on his right hand is a mood
Two big questions he forgot to ask is with a standard 870,1100,11-87 do you have to use taller bead sights or will factory height work? The other question is I have two 12gauge guns and have chamber reducers so I can shoot 28 and 410 through my single shot 12gauge. Are they safe to use with this suppressor?
Big Enos and Little Enos got a real nice silencer.
As a shotgun guy, lemme get one
I’m such an idiot. When he pulled it apart and talked about their patented “trumpet cone,” I was like, I had that idea years ago. I didn’t think you could paten on something that simple and thought that someone smarter than me has already figured that out.
They put the shot in SHOT Show.
I might get two of them!
10db is huge for those that don't know. Sound decibels are not like temperature, best way to explain it for dummies like myself-1db difference is the equivalent of a 10 degree jump in temp. 10db quieter is almost a 3rd quieter to my understanding. Someone can bash me and tell me how wrong I am, that's what these comments are for.
Every 3db is a doubling or halving in sound pressure. At least that is what my sound reinforcement manual says.
could you use this shotgun suppressor on a 22lr barrell?
That guys tattoo is awesome. Along with his mustache
I want to see this on a veer 12.
That’s fucken neat. I need to move to a free state already.
This is truly the golden age of firearms technology. If only I didn’t live in the Golden State😢
So that muzzle adapter will thread into a remington choke thread?
Goddamn that man's got a lip caterpillar! Bet that he can take cherry red suppressors off a barrel with his bare hands. Now that's a MAN!
They got some big dudes at that booth
I’m definitely getting a Genesis with one of these!
I think I need that...
JK has caught my eye but this goes on the wish list! Will look badass on my Tavor 12 🙏🔥😎
F'ing awesome!
I really wish both guys had cowboy hats on.
Now the Hatfields and the McCoys can have a fight, and no one will ever hear it coming.
James, PLEASE do a 500rd burn down on this!!!!
But. How do we mount one to a KSG?
Was not expecting that voice, from the dude on the right!!!!
Imagine that on that new Beretta shotgun....
This js going to be a monster on the gen.12
Time for my short 11-87.
That's awesome
Is it possible to thread the mossberg 590s shockwave?
I don't need it. I don't need it.
JK being doing thangs
Looks cool
Damn, looks like I'll need another to buy another stamp.
Best new product yet 👍👍
Will it hold up to steel shot, bismuth, TSS etc
Great video but did they give any decibel ratings? The silencerco salvo 12 is about 130. Would this be comparable or better?
i sure hope my dealer is there taking orders for us lots...
Can shells loaded with card/pulp wadding be shot with this suppressor? Then can low speed shells or super low speed shells be shot without damage? How does this effect the shot pattern on a typical shotgun? Can a choke tube be added ?
Yeahhh I wanna know decibel reduction and patterning with a couple basic buckshots at multiple ranges. I want a can for home defense shotty, I would love to not be permanently deaf in the event I have to defend my home.
Awesome, just awesome.
Guessing it'll fit my RIA VR80 . Hopefully.
They should sell blueprints to their designs, give it to the masses
F**k aft
Was not expecting that voice to come out of the cowboy. lmao
