This is easily one of the best group bases I have seen but in your builders sanctuary base the bunkers can be accessed through the inner peak downs. You can fix it by attaching all the triangles to each other though. Amazing base
I just checked it and have no idea what you're talking about. The triangles were placed correctly and the bunkers can't be accessed from the inner peeks
A clan on Stevious quit the server early and gave us their base. This is the one they built. It’s one of the sickest bases I’ve ever seen in my 1500 hours and I’ve been searching for the build guide for an hour. So glad I finally found it so I can learn it. Cheers.
@@SJBL-ws5zo idk mate, but if you're building this base you should have a sizeable group so farming for upkeep shouldn't be a worry. It can easily house 20 players but ideally you have multiple bedrooms per player so you can have 12 people or so.
Talon has been a favorite base design whom survived the entire wipe during offline and online raid. Than you introduced to me The crown 👑 😍 Never been so satisfied to have such base and managed it with 6 players... that base is pure art! Placed spotlight 360 of the base... none seen anyone taking that route to bandy camp, which was our backyard... lost count of fresh helis and scrap helis destroyed by my SAM site 😂 That base was even taller than the mountains in between the base and bandy camp! I'll definitely hit the building sanctuary and try this one out.... love your base design and nicely done as always! Huge fan! ❤

I am currently practicing building it for next wipe :) One thing I noticed is that when I got to section 32:25, the triangle foundations that you build the 2 high wall frames for the wide gap where decaying. I double checked that I build them correctly. This must mean they are not connected to the externals. I believe that once you place the wall frames in section 32:25, this connects them to the external TCs. When building this in vanilla, I think you should add the extra wall frames at the same time you build the externals. Otherwise they might decay and you will not be able to re-build all of them.
Ah yes, sorry an oversight on my end. The wide gap foundations only connect to eachother through the wall frames. I'll add this to the pinned comment, thanks for letting me know
Finished playing a wipe with this base. It was awesome! We managed to survive a 4 vs 14 raid defense. The raid lasted 3 hours. We managed to keep 2 out of the 3 bunkers of loot. The base held up surprisingly well for getting MLRS rocketed 4 times too! Forgot to turn the SAMs on :p After the raid we had to move as some parts could not be rebuilt properly which is very understandable.
For those on console and wanting to do the bunker loot rooms, you need to use a square foundation in place of a triangle one where you put the roof to open the bunker
8:38 build the footprint from the wall to the right of the door which will allow you to place a normal roof instead of a triangle one to open the bunker. Definitely requires practice in a build server though.
Love the base, had no problems with it in ptb building it about video speed honestly. But when moving it to main (console edition btw), I unfortunately had an error with the disconnection mechanism on the externals. I bet it was something I did honestly, but every disconnection mechanism I tried was broken. I even attempted to break it all while I had the chance and put up two other disconnection mechanism designs from other videos that I knew worked on main branch just last wipe. But those also mysteriously failed. Only reason I’m commenting to clarify to crow and others is just a heads up. Try the disconnection mechanism out for anyone reading this comment after 1/26/23 please lmk if it was only my problem!?! Thanks again crow for the awesome base and have a great year/Wipe dayyyy!!!
I love this build I’ve used it twice now one thing I’ve encountered is some of the external tc shooting floor was decaying later found out how to fix my other thing I ran into was my beds and a few boxes would break near my bunkers when placing my twig I still haven’t figure that out yet
ur video speed is perfect, really easy to follow, in my eyes u need to pop out more videos like evil wurst did. u will be better cos your voice is better :)
The only thing I don't like about this build is that you can ladder on top of an outter then just build over the traps because there is already a half wall there
@@CrowRust I enjoy the rest of the build it took a 20 man with 250 rockets and we came out on top its just before you get turrets that sucks a bit however I just Raise the gate house 1/2 tile and don't use the half wall on top build still works perfect honestly love it
Glad you enjoyed it. You should try using the ramp disconnectable from the Super Cyclone video instead. I have a new version of this base out soon which fixes all the flaws of the original. (Lack of open core storage, open core peeks, mobility etc)

Awesome base, been practicing it for a couple days and something that has come up multiple times is that triangle floor flame you put on top of the 3 bunkers, 1 of them I can attach to the triangle floor as needed, the other 2 will only attach to the wall itself, rendering the bunker useless. I've added you on discord to provide some screenshots, but if you have any tip upfront, much appreciated!
the inconvenience with this base is: the vending and the box next to it can break out when placing garage doors or roofs after placing them and you can loose your loot especialy if you place it in the vending machine
Sorry, should have been clearer in the video. Make sure the vending machine doesn't interact with the twig roof or the gap next to it, or it could break. Perfect placement is key here.
@ crow I figured out how to somewhat bypass it on console if u place the bunker down then out the roof rotate the bunker wall and upgrade the roof then the triangle on top will make it open and close we upgrade ours to wood and then flamethrower it every morning to open bunker

1. Turret/gatehouse design 2. Lack of compound bedrooms 3. Wallstacked 6 ways = poor stability 4. Open core on 4th floor 5. No central way into open core 6. Bunkers in open core 7. No lower peeks into open core 8. No shooting floor retakes 9. No breach peeks 10. No quick way from roof to ground. There are more flaws than this but you get the idea. Building in Rust has evolved considerably in the last 2 years. Build Hacienda, Zion or T2unami instead.
No, what makes you think that? Like I said, the bunkers are in the open core. Meaning, they're easily splashed in a wall raid, easily found once they're in and because of the bunker mechanisms, some open core loot rooms can't even have doors on. On top of that, this base is 2 years old with 400,000 views. Everyone knows the layout. The T2unami is far stronger and superior in every way and much less known. Raid cost shouldn't be the most important aspect when choosing a base though. Otherwise what's the point in having a shooting floor, open core, bedrooms etc? Might as well build a cube with 10+ walls.
I can't see how. Their purpose is to protect the turrets. No one's going to be hiding in them. Even if somehow they were, there are other places to peek from and kill them.
we got offlined last night, and i just resealed the base. they went top down and blew the front wall on all three bunkers. i can't seem to replace that wall - keeps telling me it's too close to another building. is the problem the triangle floor frame above the bunker or something else?

The disconnectable mechanism definitely works. Please don't build this base though, it's really outdated. I recommend the Hacienda instead.

Because there are square frames and floors in the same sockets to cover gaps caused my wallstacking. The frames cause the beds to break
