- In 2020, the small island of Cordova will be connected to mainland Cebu via the third bridge, officially named as Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), in partnership with Metro Pacific Tollways, City Government of Cebu, and the Municipality of Cordova.

Cebu is gaining prestige worldwide. So to upkeep, cebu is becoming world class! Starting with our mall sm seaside. The concept is on world class designs. Kudos cebu. Cebu is also a gateway to our neighboring islands, it will lead and uplift also to their tourism.
Being an engineer I always dream to be a part of a huge bridge project. Maybe someday It will become a reality.

The areas linking these 2 cities will become the center of commerce in the coming years. It is one of the many stars in the Duterte adminustration. @@magutas7012 grabe naman, yan ang sinasabi ay network yan not yun design, normal talaga yan may ganon extension sa drawing at normal talaga may mga phases, syempre ang 3D drawing ay mayroon talaga network posibility or an actual phase. kahit sa paggawa ng bahay may maginsert ka ng future phase or in the phase plan. dito kasi puede yan sinasabi mo ay last phase kasi involve na yan ang pagbili ng lupa sa mga residente at right of way, so expected yan phase ay huli na kaysa sa tabing dagat.. ang babaw naman na unawa mo.. bakit sa tingin mo hangang ganyan lang drawing yan sa future? mas mayroon payan update ibang root linking dyan sa bridge na yan..isip isip naman.. ang network ay by phase yan kung kailan posible muna gawin.
No way the traffic will flow through the toll plaza as depicted in this fantasy video. Once opened, the bridge will immediately be filled to capacity and the toll plaza is going to be a restriction to flow, backing up traffic all the way to SRP in Cebu, and Lapu2x City in Mactan.

Yung malaking cruise ship hindi yata makapasok kc ang navigation clearance niya ay 60M. Eh yung Allure of the Seas is already at 72M. Sayang ang ganda ng skyline ng Cebu. PPP projects gained popularity during Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's term. During the Aquino administration, Cebu never had a major infrastructure although CCLEX was already proposed during his term and it got started during the DU30 administration. I think the Metro Cebu Circumferential Road from Naga City to Danao City can be considered part of the Build Build Build program but for the Cebuanos it has been part of the Mega Cebu plan long before he became president.

Hahaha ibig sabihin nyan private companies ang tutulong sa gobyerno na magagawa ang mga proyekto nayan na maski piso walang bayad ang government. Ang private company na nabanggit dito is yung MVP CORP. na pag mamay.ari ni Manny v. Pangilinan... Nasa batas kasi na itong malalaking companies are part of nation building. ..Pero itong mga proyekto natu may limitasyon rin ibibigay din ito sa gobyerno nang mga private companies Dependi sa kung Ano ang nakapagsunduan. Example lang sabihin nang gobyerno/privatecompany na itong proyekto naito 30yrs magooperateang MVP CORP(PRIVATE COMPANY) at pagkatapus nang 30yrs na Mag ooperate ang MVP Corp. Kyriedwayne Delfin this project was already proposed long ago before duterte became president. The cebu provincial board approved it in April 2016, before the presidential election of 2016 in May.
