It’s really a shame that AMC, OLTL, AW, GL & ATWT are all gone. It really left a hole in NYC with all those amazing actors. It’s hard to believe there are only 4 soaps on the air and they’re all in California. It never occurred to me in the 80’s that soaps would end. I thought they’d just go on & on & on.
Hard to believe it's been off ABC since 2011. I remember the saddest episode I ever watched was when Mary Martin (Jeff's wife) was shot by intruders and died. I followed the show from episode 1 to it's final ABC broadcast.
If the episodes are not available on DVD, it should be! I was born in the late 1970s, other fans and I need to watch the episodes that we did not see because we were not born and/or were toddlers, lol!
Watching this breaks my heart knowing that All My Children was cancelled just a year after this. Cameron and everyone at AMC were so hopeful that the move to LA would help keep the show on the air for a long time - they had no idea what would be coming. They deserved to stay on the air long enough to celebrate their 50th anniversary and beyond.
So sad I miss all my children and one life to live ! Such a shame... It still gets to me at times. I watched this soap since 1975 😑 😞 they were great people/ Actor's.
He wasn't much of an actor but I guess his wardrobe was minimal so it could be put towards Susan Lucci's outfits. Mind you they didn't need a lot of fabric to cover her. lol

Belle Ferrar the chew only lasted 6.5 years.
