Hi Wayne here, there is no noticeable drone for the time we had to test it. I would say its pretty tame and just loud enough as a daily driver exhaust. The cold start is not crazy loud and perfect if you dont want your neighbors complaining!
This can’t be stock unless the Invidia allows you to hear your bov cuz mine is stock and I can’t hear any bov when shifting . Does the exhaust let you hear it more? Never heard of that only adding a diff bov
@@derache123 The car has a bypass/diverter valve from the factory, which I'm loosely referring to as a bov. Since the valve is electronically controlled in this car, there are aftermarket bov options that can be installed without damaging the engine. Regardless, the "psssh" noise heard in the video between shifts is not a sound coming from the intake, but is coming from what ever bypass/blow-off valve is installed on this particular car.
Subie rumble isn’t in the 2022 wrx, it has equal length headers can’t physically have it, and it’s not a BOV it’s the intake system. You guys are mechanics?
It’s not the mechanic that said that. Their content creator doesn’t know that and that’s ok. He is really damn good at video editing. Also it does have a little rumble even if it has equal length headers.
you guys should really blurr out license plate numbers.especially if the owner did not consent to have his personal information out there for the world to see
@@blkstang4830 Yeah, I never understand this idea of hiding license plates. What good does it really do? Some rando could pass by your car and get both your license plate and VIN and research whatever they like about your car, but hiding from the internet seems to hold much more importance when there's zero difference. If it was such a private thing, you wouldn't have one or two of your license plates on your car at all times in order to even be street legal.

A nice video guys. The Invidia R400 sounds 🔥
Any adapters required for this installation to install on stock?
I love rear garnish , ty for that :D
Thanks for the informative video! Much appreciated!
Great content
Which intake you have on? Love that sound
ETS
How would you say the loudness is on cold starts compared to the stock exhaust? Much drone inside the cabin as the stock?

@@kineticautoworks thanks for the response my man!
Is this the same one installed for 2021 2020 wrx ??
I heard the r400 hangs a bit too low, can you confirm?
Lmao I think this is true cause I know someone who got this exhaust and it looks like it sags 💀
Does a blow off work with an automatic?

It’s the intake ETS
Does adding the exhaust void Subarus manufactures warranty at all?
No it does not
The only thing that will void your warranty on exhaust is a cat delete.
Stock bov and intake?
ETS intake that’s it the bpv is stock
Anyone know the song in the outro?
Nice video! That’s the intake btw not a blow off valve.
Hi Wayne here! My fault haha, you’re correct it’s the intake! Just not used to turbocharged cars and terminology yet. Glad you like the video though😁
@@kineticautoworks no worries 😉 love the video and thanks for making such a cool video of my car!
The sound between shifts (when you let off the gas) is the bov.

Owner was alright with having his car in the video.
Haha because your license plate isn’t viewable by the public… 🤔
