Absolutely loved this podcast! 🎙️🔥 The combination of insights into the Indian Air Force's discipline, training, and fitness regime is truly inspiring. 💪🇮🇳 It’s incredible to hear about how mental resilience and physical fitness go hand in hand in shaping the warriors who protect our skies. Looking forward to more such motivational episodes!
I'm mid-aged IT engineer (also done shift duty; nonveg turned veg person, still muscular), couldn't join IAF due to family & personal issues, but still military fan. So i've successfully balanced technology, health, culture, spirituality. Thinking with patience is important. Pointing to misleading & fake things & people is good thing. But usage of words & lines is very important. Mr. Akshay Chopra has told many god things but also looks very angry & intimidating, seems to have put certain things in impulsive, aggressive & offending ways pointing only our/his own culture - easily quoting red meat; Acharyas, Gurus & Babas; Brahm Muhurat (obviously not for shift duty & emergency attending professionals). In every nation, most citizens are day workers & shift duty & emergency attending people are small fraction, so 10pm-6am sleep is very much possible, not rare. Some minimum discipline is important everywhere. When he emphasises on using own brain rather than blind belief then he should understand that diet through animal cruelty is delusion & greed, also influenced by 1000 years of slavery, British school education system & also some still prevailing foreign customs & traditions in military. But our scriptures clearly mention that from beginning till end there're Tamsik (impulsive, rebellious) & Rajsik (confused, deluded) people everywhere with their wrong justifications, irrespective of gender, age, qualification, profession, etc. And this is how all Varns (professional categry, not Spanish-Portuguese "Caste") can get corrupted. And this is Kaliyug. A child in Jain family will be taught not to eat Ginger, Garlic, Onion. A Vegan family kid will be taught to avoid any animal product. A Veg family kid will be taught veg diet. Some nonveg Hindu famiy not reading scriptures will teach - only hen, goat, fish, egg, no cow/bull, pig, camel, etc. Abarhmic families woud teach to eat as many types of species as possible. A tribal/jungle family might teach to eat rats & snakes also (Chattisgarh Bastar tribals example, perhaps NE tribes too). So the point is IT ALL DEPENDS ON UPBRINGING & OFCOURSE OBSERVATION, ANALYSIS, INTROSPECTION.
