Well this is a take apart unit.

You can take it apart or have a wheelchair hoist installed in your car boot and brackets on the wheelchair (make sure you compare the height of the car boot with the height of the wheelchair on the hoist first).

You would go to the speed setting which would be the lines on the bottom left or the screen in the app and choose either between eco, standard or sport modes. Hope this helps.

Is it ok in the rain ?

No powerchair or scooter is ok in the rain, they must be covered. The electronics in the unit will be damaged if it gets too wet so you want to keep them as dry as possible.

There are other models that are ok in the rain. I watched a video on one called the Pegasus (it folds up really small and is lighter) that they said was ok in the rain. I’ve been researching them for a while just haven’t made my purchase yet. I’ve read that others carry a shower cap to cover the joystick.

We do not sell that model and I looked up numerous websites and I didn't see any of the websites stating that it was ok to be in the rain. There is a difference between waterproof and water resistance. they may be water resistant.
