Never too rambly. Like your honesty. We all love certain things and dislike or get frustrated with other things ( I hate static too lol) in diamond painting. It is always ok to give your opinion. People who dont agree can just agree to disagree. Keep up the awesome videos ❤
I’m going to get my very first diamond painting very soon, and your tips and tricks are being very helpful!! As someone who has dyslexic and possible ADHD;the pink numbers would jar me too! Also put washi on the containers for the Diamonds;to make sure it’s easier to see the symbols for the Diamond painting,is brilliant as well!! I’m definitely going to use those when I start to lit up my Diamond painting, thank you for the inspiration 🙇🏻♂️🩵☺️
DAC commented on a post and said they aren't doing an anniversary sale this year. I am relieved because I've been doing pretty good about not buying anything and I'm sure that would mess me up! 😅 I think it's partly because they are moving their warehouse from NJ to TX. Glad you were able to stick to your no buy! I'm excited about the choice between round and square. I only do squares so it's nice to have the option. Seems like a lot of the small cuter kits are always round so I end up never getting them even if I love the artwork. But this could also be very bad for my wallet! 😂
I definitely should put myself on a no buy. But I think I’d just break it anyways. I want to do an updated stash video too but, yes, they are a ton of work. Last time, I only showed ALL my DACs but, seeing that video is 2 years old now, my stash has grown significantly. I probably have around 150 DACs alone, not to mention all my other ones. So this time, I think I’m going to split out my stash videos into companies and show all of my kits. Not sure when I’ll get to it though as I have a ton of videos to record before then. I made an amazing discovery regarding static drills. I’m working on Cat and Fairy from DAC which has a TON of 310s (about 16 or 17 big bags of them) and they were quite staticky and were driving me crazy. So I put my thinking cap on and came up with a new way to eliminate static that worked like a charm for me. So I think I’m going to make a video showing that too.
Yes, I heard that DAC is not planning an anniversary event because they are moving. I understand your frustration with DIY Moon shop's shipping costs. It's good with me for you to talk about it honestly. Your next project is beautiful (even if I did vote for the Chuck Pinson 🤭). I love the colour pallet. I only purchase images that I really like and I have found that I am getting pickier all the time. I have two images in my cart, but I'm just thinking about them for a bit. I hope you have a good week and I look forward to your next video.
I definitely feel like I've gotten pickier the longer I've diamond painted. I think during Covid it was so hard to get kits from anywhere that I felt I needed to get it right at that moment or I'd never see it again! My no buy has definitely helped me realize it's not the end of the world if I don't get it
What I do to make sure I have enough containers is see how many extra I have after counting out how many I need for my project and then every time I use one of the spare containers, I count down. So say I have a 52 colour project and I have 60 containers, I have 8 spare containers left. Every time I use a spare container for more drills, I count down which means I’ll always know there’ll be enough for all the colours and how many I have left for extras. So, if I had three big bags of 310, I could potentially use about 5 extra spare containers so when I do that, I’d have only 3 left overall. Does this make sense? I’m trying my best to explain it.
Hi 👋 I don't comment much I love your videos and I have never heard you being 'sassy' you are allowed to be annoyed and personally I don't think the partial refund was enough, I ordered a painting before in square and was sent a round from a different company (UK) and straight away they apologised and sent me it in square even told me to keep the round painting as it was their fault, you are allowed to be bummed when things go wrong you are well within your rights to. Shipping is a huge issue as I said I'm in the UK I would love to order from DBD or craftibly bit the shipping is the same if not more than the cost of paintings 😂 I envy those of you who stay in the US as you get so many more products than we do 😢😂 I agree with the personal touches then and then not it should reflect that in price. Please stop apologising and just be you we love you the way you are and you never sound snooty 😂 just keep being your bright smiley self (I keep see you smiling even though I have never seen your face) we all love you and your videos ❤ xxx
You're too hard on yourself. We tune in to hear your opinion and relate to how you feel. Unapologetically say your truth. It's up to us to agree or not.
I threw my distracted by diamonds kit away and will never be buying from them again. The quality was terrible, drill field was too big for the drills, trashy drills and poor glue quality.I also prefer the heat sealed bags over the baggies
Please never feel any type of weird way about expressing opinions or concerns about a company. We customers have the right to have a service that is at least fair to the price that we pay. I never understand. The lash or attack that comes from fellow crafters if we criticize the company for doing/ not doing a specific thing if it seems iffy or suspicious. As long as we are not making direct accusations without evidence we can freely talk about being unsatisfied with quality that has gone down.
Your chat wasn’t too rambly. I always enjoy your WIP and Chats. And it always makes me sad that you never like doing them ❤️
Thanks Karly! It's not that i don't like doing them, I just think I'm boring lol I just need to make it a priority to film them more often!
@@diamondpaintingsbylaura I don’t think you’re boring 😁

Oh wow, sorry to hear that! What a bummer. Definitely team heat sealed bags!
