I cried so hard this event, Emu's grief for her grandfather really resonates with me, and how my family would be annoyed when I cried so much over my grandmother's passing.
You can tell how much pain her grandfather's passing away caused to her. She carry his essence and wishes, but she lacked the things that made him achieve everything he achieve, "try to not cry so you can make others smile" was her mindset but the thing is that she couldn't make others happy if she wasn't happy. And then Tsukasa pretty much break that mindset reassuring her that she is not alone, she has him, Nene and Rui. I imagine that was a relief for Emu to be free of such a weight. Tsukasa our boy! Even Emu's father saw him as someone very similar to the grandpa.

Doesn’t Otori Corp. choosing to completely paint over PXL with more popular IP’s for a specific demographic sound eerily similar to what Disney has been doing with properties like Marvel and Star Wars for the past decade? As the “stubborn, little princess” of this kingdom, Emu is that one spark of hope who’s trying everything she can to preserve her grandfather’s legacy, wanting her family to remember that the smiles and happiness of the guests should come first, not just the finances.
I watched through dozens of death scenes when I watched JJBA, and none of them got me close to tears… Emu getting sentimental over her grandpa though… that uh, that got me, I won’t lie
Seeing emu cry breaks my heart she's always happy when she's with the wonderland crew but the moment she talks about her grandfather she cries because he meant so much to her, let's all love emu

her grandpa passed away a few years ago, he promised emu to keep everyone smile and have hope on the wonder stage before passing away, now shes trying her best to make everyone smile but theres a problem, emus brother were constantly harassing her about giving up the wonder stage since they arent getting enough money from it but emu didnt want that because of the promise, emu forced herself to smile so she wouldnt get the others worried but she cant ever control it, on this scene she finally confronted and let her sadness out :((
