Legend tells of a utopian kingdom hidden among the towering mountains of inner Asia. A paradise on Earth, yet a place apart. A place of spiritual contentment and eternal life. A place that’s become known to the West as Shangri-La. For century’s romantics, adventurers and the devout risked their lives searching for this heaven on Earth. Many perished in the quest. Those who returned told of a journey through hostile lands, of crossing treacherous mountain passes & desert gorges in their search for a valley where people live for hundreds of years. To this day its whereabouts remains a mystery...

being a native of Hunza, I must say a lot of things have changed but not the mountains, valleys, the sky, the breeze and yes the nature of people.
Excellent search through Norther Pakistan for the so-called Shangri-la. Others believed it to be more in the vicinity of Tibet. In reality, it is no doubt a mythological place. The video is worthwhile and interesting.
When TRACKS and DAVID ADAMS come together something excellent and wonderful happens! Majestic ...yet so simple and informative
this is my 2nd time watching this Documentary by David Adams and I am so in tune with it that I can watch a 3rd and 4th time and still find very interesting.
Yup, David never gets (his hands) dirty. A real bushman, our Indiana Adams ! 😅

David Adams is an AWESOME documentarist. Is that a word? It should be.
'Documentarist' refers more a person specializing in producing a factual record. 'Documentarian' or 'documentary maker' are more commonly used to refer to a filmmaker that specializes in documentaries.
He must have found Shangri-la. He went through the whole journey in a shirt, even though it is freezing (note the dress wear of the locals), and in cowboy shoes too :) Even makes Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) look under dressed.

Very cool video I have always loved the world and what it has to offer. In order to enjoy it your life has to be simple.
What a beautiful people. Love their colorful clothing. I think that one ( at about 18: 00) valley might have been the Shangri-La in the 1930's It certainly seems nearly impossible that anyone lived in these mountains before automobiles... just winding mountain paths and perhaps a horse. It seems like all cultures are made my men and women aren't even really part of the culture. So sad for women...no life except to continually do chores and bare children. NO FUN? One thing for certain the very wealthy ( mostly Brits) have "marked all territories" leaving no place untouched. Great video!

That exorcism was a total sham. The guy was just high. Nothing more nothing less. If someone is possessed/oppressed he/she is not delivered by some weirdo getting high and shaking like an idiot.
