I feel table dynamics play a huge roll in many decisions. Love your fold and jam with AK.
Yea Mariano is super solid player. Learning a bunch.
Dope video's my dude keep up the vlogs one of the only guys i still watch. Goodluck bro!
Also no expert here, but I feel like a good strategy in the 7-2 game is see a flop as cheaply as possible. If you somehow crush it, go with it, if not look to bluff on a bad board for the pre-flop raiser or fold and live to fight another day. I just think a pre-flop 3-bet strategy would cause you to burn a lot more chips chasing the bounty than you might win from hitting the bounty, because you are inflating the pot.

Bannng lol I know you didn’t say it but that is so funny when you do. You and Wolfgang need to talk about that. Every one loves to hear you say it. Great video brother please keep them coming.
See you for “Battle at Hustler Casino” next weekend!! LFG
Instant LIKE as soon as I start the Vid 🙏✌️🔥🏄🏾♂️. It feels like you/the channel are ‘snowballing’…. The last couple months it just feels like it’s growing faster than ever before. We’ll done Mariano-excited to see what your next moves will be.
I got back to rivers casino in Schenectady NY, and the lowest stakes are 1/3 nl. It's so soft. I made $430 in 4 hours...should've been $840 but this guy caught his 7 outer on me. Bad beats happen so it's okay. Then I went yesterday for a hour...made $1136. I admit I hit and ran but there's no way I'm capable of staying disciplined after experiencing that kind of high. Best for me and my bankroll to walk away while I'm up. Watching you and Brad has really improved my game. I'll hopefully be ready for 2/5 nl by this time next year. Just gotta get used to playing against solid players.
Not sure a 7 outer is a bad beat.. but ok
Your 60fps is awesome, keep it up. It really sets the quality apart from other poker vloggers.
Last Hand is a missdeal the ♥️ come every time for you 😅 Nice Video ✌️ from Germany
Enjoying the content Mariano!!! Keep it flowing!!!
Beautifully produced vlog. B-roll and 🎵 in point. I always enjoy. Keep it up
Nice !!!! Run it 🆙 🆙 🆙
I’m liking rampage sending me to this guys channel.
“I didn’t feel like calling so I made it 350$ “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂
I agree about the Bike over Commerce...Nice win.
Nice video once again! Can't wait to see you playing on tournaments. Best greetings from Belgium Mariano!
You are a very good player and we love how you break it down. Very educational
Mariano, I luv your channel. You've got the best b-roll in the business, your production values are higher than everybody whose name isn't Jaman, and your hand analysis is training video worthy. However: it really tilts me when you're sticking your hands into the pot, grabbing other people's chips, making change for yourself, and stuff. Look, I know you're not up to funny business, but there's a reason why players shouldn't be sticking their hands into the pot - some people distinctly *are* up to funny business. You have literally 100,000 people watching your videos, and a lot of them are learning their live poker protocol from you. If they think it's cool to reach over and count down an opponent's bet (at 3:30), they'll do it. Frequently, they'll have a dealer yell at them (as the dealer should) and then they'll wonder what the problem is.
If it's a home game, home game rules apply, i.e. whatever the host/hostess is cool with goes. But imo, in a casino, we should all keep our hands out of the pot for a lot of very good reasons.
Corrected timestamp 2:48
I was like bro wtf u chatting but yeah, well our boy doesn’t even know clubs from spades in this episode so
@@charizard1521 relax
@@MarianoPoker right I feel you but it’s like a chef calling a knife a spoon a lot of people are going to question the efficacy of that chef. And OP has a point where if you do that in a casino you’re going to have a bad time..
We’re not trolling you, if this was my channel I would see no choice but to reupload.
@@charizard1521 relax
You make some really great videos.
At 9:00 mark. You say 9spades but the graphic says 9 Clubs. You put out good stuff and I figured you would wznt to know of the mistake.
When are you coming to San Diego? Love your videos brother.
Poker gods must love u. I never get runouts like that
Can’t wait to see Rampages vlog from Hustler in November
great jam on the first hand
Playing at LATB always make you special and happy 😊. Good luck with your meet up game with Rampage.
Hi! What are you using to record your hands?
AK shove was balls. You're the best vlog/player of the bunch. Let us know next time you're in Detroit...
noce. may i suggest sir. as i noticed all of poker vloggers usually we see the card (2) and the located at yhe bottom. iys very jard to us to understand since there a word appearing on the displayed card. would it be possible sir if the displayed be on rop of the screen appears. thank you and have a lucky gamblimg .
y'all back in Vegas the week of the 22nd to 25th?
While I'm here: that first hand - you shove the river, the guy tosses out one chip, and you snap turn your hand up. I don't know what the rules are in California (and hope I never find out), but I know for a fact (from sad first-hand experience) that in Nevada, if chips aren't pushed forward, the house *cannot* force the player to put them in the pot. So the guy could pick up his remaining chips and walk out, and there's nothing either you or the house could do about it. They might ban him, they might not (visualize the Commerce ever banning somebody for that ;-) ).
Also, that one chip call is a fine opening gambit to the infamous "That chip just rolled out of my stack - I didn't call" angle.
At the *very* least, I'd say to the dealer, "Is that a call?" If she says, "Yes, it's a call" then that gives the villain plenty of time to say "No, the chip just rolled out of my stack", and now when there's drama, you have that back-up. But I've actually gone full table-nit and say, "Please push a stack of chips forward if you intend to call." Dealer and/or villain: "He/I said call." Me: "I know, but the cameras can only see - they can't hear. Please and thank you."
UBU but if you ever get angled out of a $15k call in a $25/50 game, you'll be sad panda.
Hmm, isnt tossing one chip considered a betting motion? Like the one chip rule
@@Chocobohunter Yes, technically tossing out one chip means "i call". There are also a million ways you can use that as an angle (and also subjects you to being angled if you really do drop a chip by accident).
That's why I really prefer to see people move one stack. You don't haven't shove all your chips out there, but a stack is unambiguous.
It’s considered accepted action the player announced all in the dealer tossed a button out he would be held to a call
The dealer said “call” before he turned hand over. California rule is 1 chip= call
“Folding would be psychotic”😁
Bro that last shot at the intro of the chandelier was crazy how did u do that?
Great entertaining game! Keep it up! Good luck at your next MUG!
I’d kill to be in those spots with the nuts. Could u show us how you play post flop with no equity when you bet big pre flop? It would be very educational, thank you!
Nice session. You tend to get a little sticky with some hands lol
Hi Mariano! Im a big fan of your chanel and your game. I have a Q for the first hand A7d Did you consider go all in on the flop after the villain make the raise and what would do if he puts you all in on the turn ?
Last Q what the villain have on that hand ?
I hope you can answer me, good luck on the tables from Mexico 🦈
Pretty permanent theme with Rampage and Mariano, "this should be a fold most of the time in this spot with this hand" - > proceeds to raise EVERY SINGLE TIME
not really.. they are just showing you the hands where the play is "interesting." They probably don't raise more than they do - those just make the blog more often. I am guessing they play 20+ hands for each one they show us.
Not true, we just don't include every other time when we just fold pre-flop
Love watching your videos makes my commute to work seem shorter
I hope you are not watching videos while driving
@@nouser129 good thing you tube makes videos with sound , his well explained narration is and ears is all I need
Oh man, got me good with that fakeout ~8 minutes
1st hand you appear to reach out and handle opponents bet/chips? Big not allowed wherever I've played.
Love your blogs tho/you do good narration.
Just thinking the same thing
Gotta love when they flick in that calling chip and you show them your nuts! Fantastic vlog Mariano as always (Also where can I find a compilation of you pushing over Ethan's chip stacks?) 😂

Awesome !!!
My guy I must say I was aghast at the TT fh and you got me good on that one but hey, there are so many mistakes in this upload I honestly don’t know how you can keep it up bro?
I mean like the JTs hand where you flopped top two and said the flop had two clubs, then the turn was a spade😆
That was a dope intro beat.
Good stuff mate
Table dynamics can be juicy
Great Vlog. Interesting fold against Charlie.
Great gameplay. The B looks great on the drone. For the WSOP Main event did you have to qualify? Or did you sign up?
Mariano: He has A 3 of spades
Me: I KNEW IT
Mariano: jk
🤦♂️
When are you coming to play at TCH in Dallas?
Sorry about the loss
Loving how consisting you’re being with your videos 🙌🏼
@2:50 Why did you spread that guys bet out? I've never seen a player do that to another player's bet at a public table.
In the first hand all in, what did your oponent had?
Did villain have king high flush in first hand? I thought I saw a king when he threw his cards over? KK maybe?
Mariano, do you think in the hand when you had Ad7d that going all in on the river made it more likely for the opponent to call than if you had made a smaller value bet, say $600 into the $1930 pot?
Every session books thousand plus shits crazy
Stay tuned for next video
Very much prefer these vids without the clown posse. Your game is miles ahead, and your vids are much more entertaining imo.
Who?
He only posts winning sessions..🙃
Why put others down?
"🤡 posse"
"your game is miles ahead".
Poker is all about learning and surrounding yourself with others that have the same drive and passion. You say you prefer these videos and the proceed to bash his friends.
@@Jared-wy5zw he’s posted 15+ losing ones. Obviously he wins more than not, how do you think he went from 1/2 to 10/20 in a year?
Now say this to him person and realize how fucking weird it is when him and others give you a stupid ass look. Y’all are all weird as fuck for liking this 😂
I feel like some of these LA casinos you would not want to announce how much you were in and out for in the parking lot especially at night. The Bike is probably one of the safer ones.
At 10:45, "I'm all-in [with AK]." Now you can breathe again.
Exactly haha
Why couldn't this have been my life
Was thinking exactly the same bro..
It can be
@@danielropers6412 doubtful
@@proditoresmoriendum86 that’s facts it will never happen. You don’t even believe in yourself, you think he was born knowing poker and how to make vlogs? Quit feeling sorry for yourself and get to work if you got goals
@@forrestsanders8921 I have no doubt in myself I just happen to live somewhere poker is virtually non-existent and having shared custody of a son and having found my love for poker later on and after having my kids I don't see myself moving close enough to a place with poker as a scene to make a life of it
I think the turn 10 of club saved you on the first hand. I think his most likely hand is Q 10 or K 10 of diamond and he might put you ALL IN on the turn if the 10 didn't come on the turn and I think you are a good enough player to find a fold if that came to you.
That session was kinda crazy.
thanks nice vlog
Nice shot of the smokes; I enjoy me some lettuce! Burn it baby!
Man, thank you! The Commerce sucks! Other than the high-stakes tables you're basically playing in an overcrowded warehouse and the limits are weird as shit. The bike is sooooo superior
The Bike has the prettiest chips bar none
I always watch your vlogs last cause u are the best player I think of the vloggers??? Maybe Owen and neeme are tied and Jamin is a bad man as well
Wait...wait...wait...you won another session? How. Could. That. Be?
Mariano wins 94% of vlogs.😎
Transparency is awesome. But so is watching winning poker
Check raise with Ah8h on Kd turn would have been good.
Marino you’re a beast but you gotta let some hands go sometimes like those 7s can’t be a hero all the time
Yo I want to come to the meet up. Do I need to sign up or just be there?
Calling ahead is recommended
What did opponent have on first hand? Could quite see. I’m guessing Kx diamonds after the snap call of your all-in.
He did not show
#89✅
I heard that the Bike is one of the toughest places to play
In my opinion is has the toughest games in SoCal
Sounds like Mariano got into it with someone at that other casino hahahaha
Hey Mariano, how come you don’t play at Elsinore Casino anymore? I was playing the 5-5 there yesterday and they said they caught you “going north” on camera? What’s that shit about?
I'm not banned or anything AFAIK, but yeah last time I was there I bought in for more than the $1000 max and got in trouble
@@MarianoPoker Gotcha. I was confused when they were talking about it. Stay up 🤙🏼
Imo, pocket pairs like J's and 10's, these are the hands I would describe as, "Playing much better heads-up."
in the intro, not sure what is more surprising, that there is still a cigarette machine somewhere, or that they are $12 a pack.
I guess there are no minors in the casino?
Because I thought they got rid of all those machines ages ago to "protect the children".
@9:13 I am thinking 9s, you say 9s, graphic says 9c.
Mariano you’re a great poker player. Been watching you since day one of your vlog journey. It has inspired me to get back into playing again. Join his club gg, I have
what did villain have in that first hand?
He never showed
a lot easier to shove with AK than to call with same huh:)
Yes sir
Nice play! Still don’t understand the fold with AK vs AK 🤔
He explained it pretty thoroughly, why risk an additional $2,500 vs a tight player when you have AK offsuit, best case you have a coin flip, worst case he has KK or AA and has you dominated, pretty easy fold for him.
@@michaelb7311 it wasn’t that much more of a call. He did explain it, but I don’t understand his logic. Nonetheless Mariano won so cheers 🍻
It's $2500 more to call, and we are either flipping or losing. Seems like a clear fold to me 🤷🏻♂️
@@MarianoPoker definitely a different player and approach. Glad you won bro 🤙🏼
Who ever dislikes this video is just a straight up hater😂

Yeah, you have bad moments but I don't know who runs as pure as Mariano ,, that 5 k hand , just ex , hay I'm lovin it . What two faces do you see when they say Mariano going to be at our table 👉🏼 🙄 👉🏼 😵💫
Let's go
first hand flush over flush?
Who knows

Finally
I hated the hands
Just kidding...
I loved the hands. Thanks for the video
AK---->all in
If you decide to reraise J10 suited from the small blind.
You flop top two on a superwet board like J1-10-8 with a flushdraw.
Checking is a play i would never make here.
I want to get the money in the pot right now.
Every turn card from a 7 to an Ace and all spades is cards you don't want to see.
I just prefer a bet of around 35-40% in this spot.
As you would easily do this with KQ, AQ, AK, sets, spades.
Dislike the check on that board, a free card vs 2 opponents.
Like if it checks around even low cards are a threat.
Cause what are the hands that check it back to you?
Low pairs and a pair with a 9.
Yeah, really disliked that check.
Don't want to get to heavy on the critisicm though.
I really like your style and the way you play in general.
You put alot of pressure on people.
I disagree but thanks for the insight
Agree w both takes. If you’re playing exploitatively against weak opponents who call 4-bets light and don’t take into account ranges then a bet is important to deny equity from draws. However, Mariano is right that from a high level “gto” perspective we should never have much of the sets, straights, or two pairs given our range and if we bet when we do have the two-pair then we can exploitatively be bluffed when we check b/c if we don’t check two-pair we can’t have a hand stronger than an over pair.
@@simonpoker9502 That was a bunch of nonsense ☺️
1 guy says never check in this spot.
1 guy disagrees, which is totally fine.
Hard to agree with both given those circumstances, as they're polar opposites.
I'm actually not sure if a check is in my range at all on this flop if i first decide to 3/4 bet from the small blind.
It's super hard from the range i 3/4 bet with from the small blind to completely whiff this flop.
I actually don't think i can, except some super rare time i decided to 3/4 bet 2-3 3-4 4-5 suited or some other disguised hand if i'm playing super deepstacked against opponents i think are plain bad.
The times i have overpairs (which is a high percentage in this spot)i prefer a small bet compared to a check.
What did the villain have in the hand where he snapped Marino off?
He did not show
Either K 10 or Q 10 of diamonds.
Bike > Commerce, no question.
3:50 What did the opponent show on this hand?
Great vlog.... but funny thing is, if you do the math, Mariano was down to $2700 after the first few hands and then doubled up on the first hand he showed on his vlog. That put him at $5400. He cashed out at $5333. So the rest of the vlog he just broke even. I watched the whole thing but could have turned if off after the first hand and wouldn't have missed anything. Just kidding. Great content!
Hi Mariano
I know you mentioned you didn’t want to ask your opponents to show their hands because you just don’t care. I respect that . But sometimes, we are trying to learn from your video, having all the cards shown could help us understand how people play. Just a friendly suggestion.
There was no spot in this vlog where I could've done that
Yeah I made it into the Vlog lol
