That gravel path by the storage area is new. We were on the same pitch last time. Looks like the site has been tidied up. Good site for visiting Carlisle, Hadrians Wall and Lanercost Priory. It's cheaper because there's never been a showers and toilet facility block.

Great little site, we were there until the 27th April and it was very affordable.

We stayed at that site on the way back from Scotland having seen it on Bob E's channel. We were on one of the serviced pitches that you went through at the end. Really liked the place, it was one of the cheapest we stayed at and the dog loved that field. Being a Greyhound, he could stretch his legs safely on his own in the safely enclosed field.

Not being a motor home owner I have been wondering if, when you have been given your pitch , you can go out in your motor home through the day or do you have to stay on your pitch? Probably seems a daft question.

dont forget your getting a 12.5 % vat discount on club sites but still a cheap site some are like that definatly because no toilet block alot are about £18 per night because of that
