From the film The Warriors, the line, “Warriors, come out to play-aaaayyyyy!” with the actor David Patrick Kelly clinking the bottles on his fingers was completely improvised by him. The director Walter Hill wanted the actor to taunt the Warriors near the end of the film, but didn’t know exactly how so he asked David Kelly to come up with something. Kelly found some beer bottles nearby to clink together and used a childhood memory of a creepy neighbor who used to taunt him by saying, “Dave. Daaaaave! I can hear you daaaaaave. I know yo7 are in there Daaaaaaave.” David Kelly along with the sound editor, who stretched out the taunt to make it longer, created one of the most memorable lines that was improvised on the spot!
My favorite unscripted moments are in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. When Harry and Ron are under polyjuice potion, they run into Draco, who notices Harry forgot to take off his glasses. Draco askes why he was wearing glasses. Harry said "reading", to which Draco replied "I didn't know you could read". The other is at the end. Lucius Malfoy says "one hopes that Mr Harry Potter will always be around to save the day", to which Harry replies "don't worry, I will be". I believe that the song Wonka sings in the tunnel was unscripted too. He intentionally made it creepy to get a genuine reaction from the rest of the cast.
Hope soon there is a Top 10 Moments that made us love Netflix Lost In Space. Maxwell Jenkins is the best actor there. He and Bill Mumy (Will Robinson of original Lost In Space) should play father and son The boy also looks like Chris Evans
RIP to some true cinema legends here: Madeline Kahn, Gene Wilder and Bill Paxton. Madeline always knew how to bring the laughs whether she was sexing it up in "Blazing Saddles" or cooling it down in "Clue" as the pale and tragic Mrs. White. Gene Wilder, IMO, was THE BEST and only true Willy Wonka. And Bill Paxton? He brought some unexpected brilliance and comedy to his role as the ridiculously lovable Private Hudson. Then there's Peter Sellers, who I have recently become a bit of a way-late fan of after binge-viewing the Pink Panther films and finding him to have been a natural at comedy.
Lol I was about 7 or 8 when I saw Big and because of Tom Hanks I thought baby corn was meant to be eaten the way he did so that's how I ate it for a while 😂
So in the beginning of Willy Wonka, when the candy man is singing a song, he opens that vertical bar door and hits a little girl right on the chin with it. I am typing this literally at the beginning of the video so if that’s the clip that they show well holy crap that’s awesome.
I heard Thor was supposed to kill Thanos in Infinity war, but Josh Brolin snapped away half the universe just for fun. Since they now lost half the actors, they just had to go with it. But it also gave them an excuse to make another movie that became the highest-grossing movie of all time, so just one improvised snap made them billions of dollars.

Rest in peace, Gene Wilder. I love how he improvised Wonka's entire introduction, to show that Wonka isn't to be trusted, and is wildly eccentric.
He died in 2016
Wonka is a terrible film, horribly dated! Cheap looking, set bound and with nauseating child actors 🤢

@@steveb4599 I hope they do!!!
Gene Wilder was great in Blazing Saddles

In Willy Wonka there was the added line by Wilder "Candy is Dandy, but Liquor is Quicker."
"Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli" The Godfather was the greatest movie I've ever seen even now it's still the best
lol
The first two Godfather’s were brilliant, part three not so much.
"what's this obsession with cannoli???", also me, after living 18 years in italy: "oh god, the cannoli!!!!"
I had no idea that part of Clue was improvised, that's even more amazing!
I miss Gene Wilder so much. "Willy Wonka" is still one of my childhood favorites.
I loved him blazing saddles
Same Gene wilder was the good actor to play willy wonka from the classic film "willy wonka & the chocolate factory"
Young Frankenstein is one of my favourite movies.
In "Prince of Thieves" Alan Rickman improvised both the iconic lines "I'm gonna cut your heart out with a spoon!", and "...and call off Christmas!".
Where's Alan Rickman now?
@@tarryteeth- Died several years ago.
@@tarryteethIn Heaven where he belongs
I like the part in Scrooged where Bill Murray trips and falls on his way out of the restaurant. He gets up and walks on as if nothing happened.
We will miss you Gene Wilder 😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Omg yes 😂 I lose it every time on XMAS
You have a Lotta good movies, here some great movies and some classics. Goes to show that improvisation maybe the key to being legend.

In fact, the definitive book about the making of THE GODFATHER was entitled "Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli".
That was incredible!
honestly shocked the Joker Hospital isnt on this list

Big fan of Gene Wilder. That said, I would've added his improv in Blazing Saddles where he talked about the folks being, "you know, morons"

Literally watching Willy Wonka right now. Both versions 😊
I always seem to remember that bit from the Godfather about the cannoli. And why would you leave the cannoli in the car? That stuff is delicious.
f.r. So good, it's worth killing for.
Son of a Bitch... He stole my line... Robin Williams Good Will Hunting

A fair amount of License To Drive was improvised because the Two Coreys never followed the script and were always fooling around.
Dr Strangelove finniest line - "No fighting in the war room!"
Love these moments🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love these spam msgs
Pacino should've got an Oscar from the Godfather too
I side with Bruce Willis when he says......DIE HARD IS NOT A CHRISTMAS MOVIE!!
0:22 😊
How could you have a top 20 improvised lines without the late great Robin Williams and also Jim Carrey
Robin Williams improvised basically everything he did. Same with Will Ferrell
"game over man, game over"
Josh Baskin in BIG has the same birthday as me 😊
In Rain Man when Dustin passes gas in the phone booth and he and Tom react to it.
Dat lovely cool funny iconic line from scream
In Big, grown up Tom Hanks loses his virginity at 12. 😆 Bro. I always laugh at that.
Elizabeth Perkins, too. Lucky kid.
Director Irving Kirschner confirmed the line from Empire as the scripted line didn’t fit with Han Solo
Hey Auntie
I gotta try a cannoli, someday.
Really should. So good, it's worth killing for.
RIP Gene Wilder
