I loved how Scott basically combined Freddy in Space 1&2 together, threw in EVEN MORE references to his older/previous games, and just for good measure added in the fanbase's insanity of both the light and dark sides of being a FNAF fan and everything that comes with it! XD
Even after all this time I feel that the first ever Freddy in Space game is the best. Loved the Desolate Hope references in that one. That huuuuge mecha fight was amazing too

I think the reason there's Gregory controlling a feddy mech suit is because of this really cool animation on youtube where Gregory grows up and using glamrock freddy's head , builds a mech suit in order to defeat vannny.
