Finally someone who LOVES WW as I do. It's THE BEST. The music! The animation! The HD remake was a dream come true. Over the past 4 years ive kind of fallen out of love with them it seemed like all there was were shooters and killing people but no games with that special spark or fun factor ik the wii had great titles but i hated motion controls (mainly played COD on ps3) well i finally gave nintendo another shot and got a used Wii u for $190 and let me tell you ive had more fun with this thing playing Windwaker HD in one week that ive had with black ops 2 in a whole year. Like i said the game made me cry and its absolutely beautiful. there is something about Nintendo games that really invoke a special feeling inside maybe its nostalgia or the fun factor but nintendo really has the knack to take you to a different place and just makes you feel happy. sorry about the essay but just had to let out my corny man drama story/essay btw im 23 haha

I want to see Nintendo take more risks and really go all out instead of playing it safe and just releasing another boring and easy mario platformer that gets old really fast. They're always amazing the first time you play it but there really is no going back to it again later. I really enjoyed New Super Bros. U but I never got back to it since I 100% completed and breezed through it in like 2 days. That's another thing with Nintendo, they always seem to add little or no challenge in their games and that's why other gamers criticize and stereotype Nintendo gamers as casual gamers. I feel you bro. The past year, I have been looking for games of older generations and the one thing that I found was that games have been going down the hill.I see so much passion in the older games that simply don't exist anymore. some might say I'm just looking for good games over a long period of time so, I might have a biased observation must also note the fact that there are no such great games even once in a while in the current times. Most games are just milking cows for big companies like Ubisoft and EA and is the prime reason for the rise of indie games at present.
Shut up i bought wii u for this and super smash and let me say i completed game on gamecube and wii u now i reccomend you get yes the triforce quest is tedious but honestly they kept some of it and its so fun
I just bought a Wii U WW edition with ww hd built in and im SO HYPED to finally play it again. I played it back on GameCube but I was a teenager and completely forgot how it played.
I've played pretty much every Zelda game in the series, and my favorite is most definitely Wind Waker. I'll never forget the first moment I landed on Dragon Roost Island and was greeted by its amazing soundtrack. After that, I'd say OoT, TP, and LttP. While I liked Skyward Sword, it felt too linear, and though it had some great boss fights, it had some terrible ones too (such as having to fight The Imprisoned THREE times).
I picked up my Wii U this weekend (Their E3 presentation and the fact that I can play Wii games on it sold it to me) and I will get Wind Waker HD tommorow. Cant wait for it!!!
I like the original more than the HD version. I loved sailing across the seas and I loved getting all the triforce shards and the took out most of the shards and made the sail go a lot faster in the HD version. I think it detracts from the game. It's like so many people are impatient nowadays and they just want to get straight to the action instead of sitting back and enjoying the relaxing music and going to the mini fortresses and finding shards.
+TvSonic Serbia Yeah but I wish it wasn't a thing. Just like I wish they didn't remove 2/3rd of the triforce pieces and so on things that can't be done in the original.
+Brian P Kuhn Why you wish that a feature that is optional wouldn't be a thing? That sounds pretty stupid considering you don't have to use it like Serbia said.
TheOriginalMomos Yeah but what about what isn't optional, like I said? Like having 3 triforce pieces instead of 9, or having diving for triforce pieces and other objects in the water very close to the top like it is floating 5 feet under the sea instead of it taking a few seconds to get, which is more realistic, and so on. I wish they just made an HD version instead of changing other things in the game.
+Brian P Kuhn I get your point, but from what I heard almost nobody liked the triforce quest because it was way too long and repetitive. I guess that's a matter of opinion, but that's a change I really don't mind.
I just beat Wind Waker HD. It's such a wonderful game. It's GORGEOUS! I WANT A SEQUEL! Wind waker 2. Multiplayer Link and Tetra. Wind waker actually has a good story unlike Ocarina of times generic story. Knight in shining armor saves a princess.
***** Cool that you liked Skyward Sword that much, i totely more or less have it as my least liked Zelda game EVER, It was even a pain to finnish the game. My top 4 is 1 Majora's Mask 2 Wind Waker 3 Twilight Princess 4 Ocarina of time
Seth ノートン fuck majoras mask, prolly my least favorite out of the 3d zelda bunch. this is coming from someone who has played the snes version of it, not the 3ds version. all hail windwaker!
I love Majora's Mask for its dark, strange ambience and sense of humor. It's interesting if you look at Zelda, Adventure of Link, and Link to the Past, then you look at OoT, MM, and Wind Waker. I see a lot of similarities between the two cycles. First game sets the rules, second breaks 'em in weird ways, and third delivers on everything the first set out to do and presents it in a brightly colored world. LttP and WW are my favorites- I just love that bright, happy, refined product. -Anthony
I really love Wind Waker.. I though about buying the Wii U when it came out.. But now that we also have Mario Kart 8 and Smash.. Plus the upcoming Zelda.. I am definitely getting a Wii U!! :D
I got a Wii U and this recently, and I absolutely love it. I literally bought the Wii U for this game xD. Well, maybe Mario 3D, Smash 4 and bayonetta lol
I don't know if you still have your Wii U but you should get ZombiU,Fatal Frame, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Twilight Princess HD. All games that even if you upgraded to Switch or Next Gen consoles are exclusive or superior version even today in 2020
I would love for Nintendo to make a twilight princess remake in HD. With it being on the GameCube it didn't look it's best and if they bump up the textures and lighting then it would look pretty bad ass.
late comment but... I don't think they would do that for 2 reasons 1) Twilight princess is VERY similar to Ocarina of Time 2) The Wii U is backwards compatible and plays wii games in HD.
Taha Berke Can I know that, what i'm trying to say is that i would doubt they would do that anytime soon seeing as the wii and wii u are only a single console generation apart.
Wind Waker was definitely a game that affected me in ways that others haven't. And I have to say (even with the slow sailing of Gamecube), there hasn't been a game that quite captures the excitement and spirit of exploring quite like Wind Waker. Thanks for the awesome overview!
Playing WWHD. The graphical updates are minimal because, well, the game really never needed it in the first place. What I really love is the improvements made. Fast renovations, for example. This is by far one of my favorite Zelda games, if not my all-time favorite.
I bought WiiU just because of Super smash bros. but I've never played through WW, so I bought the WWHD WiiU special edition because I love every Zelda game there is, and I got those sweet markings on my controller:P I've played through the game twice now(including Hero Mode), and must say it is close to being one of the best Zelda games ever! Majora's mask is the next game that deserves an HD remake! OoT just got a remake on the 3ds, which looks sweeeet! Gotta love the LoZ series!
I bought the Wii u just for Smash Bros. too but Mario Kart 8 is looking nice too. Wind Waker is also on my wish list but I'm sure in the future Nintendo will make some exciting new games
This game was amazing on the gamecube and id love to play this masterpeice in HD but i dont have a wii u yet. Zelda oot in my opinion is still the best Zelda game and is still in my top 3 games of all time after so many years. 10/10
I totally agree with you. And not only is it the best Zelda - but also it's the closest to the original Zelda on the NES. There you just started off in this vast and open world and could go to almost every place you wanted.. and with Windwaker it's for the most part the same. Now you are in this gigantic ocean with little limitations as for where you can go or in what order you decice to pay a visit to the island not related to the main story. I love it. (since the Gamecube-times)
Damn, you just made we want this game so bad. And Mario Kart 8. And Super Mario 3D World. Someone please buy a family man here a Wii U. I would be eternally grateful! :)
I played this when I was a teenager and beat it. Now I have a seven year old who I can't WAIT to share this with. I actually got the magic armor at the end, I hope they kept that in. I loved stomping around my own private island with my heavy boots, megaton hammer and magic armor on. Made me feel like a BAMF.
No it doesnt it looks amazing but old tp is still beutiful too example shield shiled was blurred in old now you see the detail also same with sword same with walls and floor and enemies
+Decaticon Lord Yeah but unfortunately it's not getting the same treatment as WW, It's just getting better, redrawn textures. some of them weren't there before, but that's all it is. I don't think it's getting gameplay improvements or new features.
Tp is getting tons og gameplay upgrades and features but i get what your saying i cried from nostalgia when manu screen came up for hd windwaker when i bought it
I grew up nonstop playing this game. Looking at it now, it is so nostalgic. From the the animation, music, and SFX, this game is my favorite Zelda- No favorite game I have ever played. This game was a huge part of my child and I will never forget it. 😔
I also think Skyward Sword is the best Zelda ever made, but then again, all that "the best" stuff....I love most Zelda games :) I played all Zelda's since the Windwaker, and loved every single one....maybe something most die hard fans don't agree with, but I wasn't all that impressed by the 2D games before that on hand console. I do love the latest 3DS one though :P.
I just gotta say, I've played and beat all the Zeldas since Ocarina of Time and Windwaker is the only one I've played all the way through more than once. So far I've beat it 3 times (last time was the HD version). The other Zeldas are amazing but the fact that this one keeps calling me back says something pretty awesome to me. This game is truly a masterpiece.
I think the Wii-U version is better paced but the GameCube version has more memorable graphics. Gameplay beats graphics though so I choose Wii-U in the end.
I've actually just bought the Wind Waker Wii U bundle just because I wanted to play wind waker and for The Legend of Zelda Wii U next year... so i've basically bought a new console just to play Zelda. I HAVE NO REGRETS AT ALL.
We need more Anthony on Rev3. He's very honest in his opinions, skips most of the fluff and goes straight to what you want to hear, more so than anyone else on the rev3 cast imo.
I think you misunderstood. I never call it an upscale- I just mention multiple times that it was given a lot more attention than the HD upscales we're usually given. :) Once you play it, you'll see things that have either been redrawn or retouched so much after scaling up so as to make the argument moot. I also think there's more than graphics involved in a remake- new controls, hero mode, remastered music, new lighting/effects, Tingle Bottle- I'm comfortable calling that a remake. -Anthony
I personally think the remake is a lot better because of Hero mode, Swift sail and a lot of other small additions (also HD). I beat this game about 3 times on the GC and 2 times on Wii U, so I'm glad they added hero mode. The one thing I did like on the GC was the bottle glitch which came in handy a LOT. Edit: Also, the pictobox is good for people who like to collect all the figurines. I'm only missing a few but I managed to get a lot I lucked out on thanks to Miiverse and tingle bottles. Another thing, the figurines carry onto the 2nd quest file which is cool too.
I really loved Wind Waker. I loved sailing and experiencing sudden storms and enemies out on the sea, or watching a giant island loom on the horizon as you approached.
It's like this: I don't have a Gamecube anymore, just a Wii. Gamecube Game > Wii > Our Capture Hardware just wasn't working in progressive. I used a component cable, but could only get interlaced output. Believe me, I messed with it A LOT. :( I decided I was cool (enough) with interlaced through component for 2 reasons: 1) most people played WW through composite their first time and 2) The HD cap was 1080i, so both were interlaced. -Anthony
Dude, you did a great job on this video. You put everything I feel about this game into words perfectly. This is definitely my favorite game in the series. It may not be a system seller for everyone, but it sure was for me.
1. Wind Waker - It made me love Zelda after not playing since A Link to the Past. The theming of everything and the tie-in to the post-Ganon world are both perfect. 2. Twilight Princess - A compelling story, only second to Wind Waker's. 3. A Link to the Past - Nintendo's taking of the first two Zelda games and figuring out what all they did right and what all they did wrong.
Wind Waker and Majora's are both my favorites Zeldas of all time. I like Ocarina a lot, but there is something that really resonates on me when I play both of those games, when I listen to either the clocktown theme or outset island my chest gets so warm and full of emotions. Playing them is like getting back home after a long trip.
Wow Anthony, I loved your enthusiasm so much. It is so easy for journalists to become jaded or try overly hard to retain their "objectivity" that they can't just sit back and enjoy something. Seeing you relate your personal feelings about the original and share how the changes improved on that feeling was refreshing and really made me respect you more than I already did...which was a lot. Thanks so much for this great preview, I look forward to being able to play myself. BTW, jtr219 hit it
I've only played the Gamecube version of Wind Waker, but of the four Zelda games I played, it's my favorite. (The other three being Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Phantom Hourglass.)
Ive never played Wind Waker growing up. I was 14 when the game came out and I saw the look of the game and being the angry teen I was, thought it was a kids game. Now I am 25 and really appreciate Nintendo games more and really just in love with their games again, I cant wait to play this for the first time and really add a great game to my Wii U library. Very excited.
1 thing both versions could've benefited from was a photo album. You just take some awesome photos & don't wanna delete them. It could've worked better in the HD remake. Also, will you do a comparison for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (original vs HD re-release)?
For sure- I've gotta say, using the GC controller to play the original after using the Gamepad for a couple days felt much more comfortable. It's certainly a trade-off, but I think the utility of the Gamepad made it worthwhile. -Anthony
That's what I find great about the Zelda franchise, because of the huge variety of content each Zelda's presents, hardly both sides will get on an agreement when the matter is of their favorite game aspects, you may find traveling through a nice landscape more appealing, but for me that feeling of curiosity when exploring through sailing is much more vivid, just when I was starting to get tired of the ocean I finally spot a tiny dot that gets larger and larger until it's revealed by a cutscene.
I'm so glad someone else like Windwaker as much as I do. This is my absolute favorite game, and the fact that they re-did makes me so happy! I'm totally getting the WiiU with all the Zelda designs on it. So... excited...
There are days when LttP takes the lead for me. Objectively I think it's probably more in line with the original ideals of the franchise and is a more tightly packed game, but I always come back to Wind Waker. Boats, man. Boats and freedom. -Anthony
Wind Waker is still my favorite. Breathe of the Wild doesnt come close to dethroning Wind Waker. I will always love this game. The story, the CGI when the Duka tree did his ceremony for Link. That is just something that will always give me a happy moment everytime I play it.
Anthony, my god I've loved you for your attitude and personality from Rev3Games and Dnews! Now, I love you for your taste in games. Wind Waker is probably my most memorable and favorite video game ever! Great video!
Little features that I didn't like were how the left and right sticks were reversed from the GameCube's control stick and C-Stick. I'll find myself using say the telescope and getting messed up since the left stick now zooms in instead of moving. I also never really had a problem with the Triforce Quest and I think it was a bit odd to remove a bunch of the charts, but I guess some people actually had trouble with it so it was an ok idea to change it. Also, the bloom was a bit too much and I hated it when the lighting made Link's 3D model more noticeable. Apart from these qualms, the Wind Waker HD is a solid version of one of my favourite childhood games ever :)
There's something about that game that makes it feel so... Real! I've never felt more emotions in a game then I did in Majora's Mask. Been playing it since it came out, and no matter how many times I play it, I feel joy when I bring Kafei and Anju together. I feel like a hero for stopping "Them". I feel sorrow for the little girl who's father became a Gibdo, terrified for all of Termina, knowing they're going to die. But most of all, I feel pity for the Skull Kid who's lost his all friends.
Wind Waker was the first zelda game I owned and my first game for the gamecube. Just seeing the Hd version makes me feel so much nostalgia and want to buy a Wii U just to play it!
After Ocarina Of Time, Windwaker is my favourite Zelda game. I feel the same way you do Anthony. I love it! I still have such fond memories of my first play through.
Oh my god wind waker is like, my child. It was my first Zelda, the first one I played all the way through anyway, and it will always have a special place in my heart. Twilight Princess does tie with it for my favorite Zelda, but they're not really comparable, so its not like i could choose between them. I can't wait until I get WW HD. So excited!
I'm playing the hd version and I'm having trouble adjusting to the visuals. I liked the original style and feel like everything is too clear. The menu and map screens are awesome though. I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only person that actually enjoyed the sailing in the original.
I could never really get into Zelda and was too busy during the whole GC period, but this looks like a game I REALLY want to play! This isn't the reason I'm getting a Wii U, though, that would be Pikmin 3. If it turns out to be what I think it is, this is going to be the icing on the cake.
Wind Waker is by far my favorite of the 3D Zelda games. My favorite of the classic top-down style Zelda games is the original, because it has such a special place in my heart. Also, it still plays so well for such an old game.
I wasn't interested in the Wii U before this game... I wasn't a fan of Wind Waker back in the day when it came out, but Cosmo's speedruns have made me re-evaluate that, and boy does the HD remaster look GORGEOUS!
Windwaker is not only my favorite zelda game, its not only my favorite gamecube (and now wii u game), its my favorite game of all time, I think ive played through this game 10 times already and never actually got tired of it even a single bit
I think OoT would just take too much visual reworking- the models would need to be completely remade and all the textures would need redrawing.I think going to the 3DS was the right move for that one. I also think they're betting a bit on the fact that a lot of people never played Wind Waker the first time through, so it might be a functionally new Zelda for them. -Anthony
Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game! It was the first Zelda game I had ever played and it started it all for me. I think it was really the game that made my love for video games blossom, and I thank Nintendo and Wind Waker for that.
If you're new to Zelda like I am don't expect this game to be as fluid as other Wii U titles, the graphics have been updated but the core gameplay is still the same so you're going to notice a few camera and control issues from time to time, also the difficulty spikes at least several times during the campaign, you'll work your way through a difficult dungeon puzzle only to be greeted by super easy boss, it seems as if the developers made the boss battles easy for children to beat, but forgot to make the dungeons leading up to them any easier, fans of the Zelda series will probably be able to overlook the rough edges, otherwise I'd recommend sticking to the Mario games
What dungeon is hard? Honestly the only dungeon that takes over 2 hours is the Wind temple and half of that time is accidentally falling down to the massive turbine gust thingy. And last time I checked Zelda is a game for kids...
I love windwaker, and was really shocked that the internet doesn't like it. I guess thats mainly because of the cell shading and the overall artistic direction. But its one of the best of the series. Charming and beautifully crafted, level design is awesome and there is so much to do. I was one of those people who loved to just sail and discover this wonderful world. Gosh, I would to play the HD remake.
It's my second favourite zelda game before Ocarina of Time, and since I owned this on gamecube (with the preorder bonus that was so awesome), I wasn't sure if I wanted/needed to get this at launch. Personally, the Limited Edition at gamestop sealed it for me, but now to see that it's such a faithful remake, I'm so happy, and am super excited for it. Great video
I absolutely loved Wind Waker. It is my favorite modern Zelda game as well. It had so much charm and aged beautifully. I just might have to get a Wii U now.
Anthony , thanks for your sentiments on this HD remake. I personally LOVED Wind Waker , it was and is a land mark Zelda game. I was pretty much alone among my friends in my affection for it. But its great to see Nintendo go back and give it the love it continues to deserve. I've actually reserved a Zelda Wind Waker Edition Wii U just to play this game. As an adult I rarely find my favorite games getting the treatment they deserve in current generation. Great to see that trend bucked for once :)
Finally someone who LOVES WW as I do. It's THE BEST. The music! The animation! The HD remake was a dream come true. I put the game down after 25 hours and never beat it (the HD remake)... until yesterday. Put it on, and BEAT IT. Here I am the next day still looking up videos. It's such an amazing game. smitty manjensen I agree this game is incredible, but you have probably went through more than I have
I'm litterally buying the Wii U just for this game. It's perfection.

+PHILL SHIVELY this is why I class people as ignorant
PHILL SHIVELY tbh I prefer wind waker so much more that TP. I do enjoy TP though.
Captain FALKEN Windwaker and Twilight Princess are both amazing games, just because youre homophobic that doesnt make it a bad game😂
Yeah, for sure- and those orchestra hits you get as you're landing combos? OH MAN I LOVE IT. -Anthony
I never played a Zelda game, but I just bought this one and I'm excited to try it
***** it was pretty amazing ;)
Matthew Garcia :D
You won't regret it.

+Brian P Kuhn You realize that you don't have to go faster? You just press a to change speed.
Anthony thinks Wind Waker HD may be the best Zelda game of all time. Here's our in-depth comparison of the changes: rev3gam.es/19hQT0p
Its got my vote
Too much bloom...
+Yusof Elm there were 2 sequels
I can’t visit the link anymore?
Wind Waker is my favorite game overall i liked sailing the beutifull blue seas and using the wind waker. And i'm not being sarcastic.
***** You have magical taste. go majora's mask!
***** what about oot?!
*****
***** Cool that you liked Skyward Sword that much, i totely more or less have it as my least liked Zelda game EVER, It was even a pain to finnish the game.
My top 4 is
1 Majora's Mask
2 Wind Waker
3 Twilight Princess
4 Ocarina of time
Seth ノートン
fuck majoras mask, prolly my least favorite out of the 3d zelda bunch. this is coming from someone who has played the snes version of it, not the 3ds version. all hail windwaker!
-Anthony
this game feels so much like pure, nintendo old and new
I really love Wind Waker.. I though about buying the Wii U when it came out.. But now that we also have Mario Kart 8 and Smash.. Plus the upcoming Zelda.. I am definitely getting a Wii U!! :D
Why not get wii u
I got a Wii U and this recently, and I absolutely love it. I literally bought the Wii U for this game xD. Well, maybe Mario 3D, Smash 4 and bayonetta lol
I don't know if you still have your Wii U but you should get ZombiU,Fatal Frame, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Twilight Princess HD. All games that even if you upgraded to Switch or Next Gen consoles are exclusive or superior version even today in 2020
ANTHONY FROM DNEWS I ABSOLUTELY FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY. THANK YOU FOR THIS
I would love for Nintendo to make a twilight princess remake in HD. With it being on the GameCube it didn't look it's best and if they bump up the textures and lighting then it would look pretty bad ass.
late comment but... I don't think they would do that for 2 reasons 1) Twilight princess is VERY similar to Ocarina of Time
2) The Wii U is backwards compatible and plays wii games in HD.
Taha Berke Can twill still display in hd though ;)
Taha Berke Can I know that, what i'm trying to say is that i would doubt they would do that anytime soon seeing as the wii and wii u are only a single console generation apart.
Taha Berke Can twas still on the wii though with the widescreen graphics
Taha Berke Can No i'm talking about how TP just being on the wii already takes advantage of it's graphics
Wind Waker was definitely a game that affected me in ways that others haven't. And I have to say (even with the slow sailing of Gamecube), there hasn't been a game that quite captures the excitement and spirit of exploring quite like Wind Waker. Thanks for the awesome overview!
Wind Waker is only 2nd to OoT for Me and that says a lot because this title blew me away. I have to pick this up New and play through Hero mode!
Playing WWHD. The graphical updates are minimal because, well, the game really never needed it in the first place. What I really love is the improvements made. Fast renovations, for example. This is by far one of my favorite Zelda games, if not my all-time favorite.
my favorite is wind waker it was my first zelda game i played
Same
I got the Wii U entirely to play Wind Waker.
Totally. Worth it.
Im honestly wondering if they are going to make a LoZ TP remake on the next home console XD
***** But the cutscenes deserve love too
***** Mah Boi !!!!!!!
@@swampydaswampertSwitch havent got even a port of Twilight Hd yet 😢
This game was amazing on the gamecube and id love to play this masterpeice in HD but i dont have a wii u yet. Zelda oot in my opinion is still the best Zelda game and is still in my top 3 games of all time after so many years. 10/10
Dude, I feel exactly the same way you do about Wind Waker! :)
Looking at that mode 7 map of Hyrule for the first time really felt like you were about to take on a new world. Man, that game was so good. -Anthony
I'm set for wii u for a while, got Mario kart 8 and free download Wind Waker.
i know right?!
I feel for ya.
Go on the website nintendo get a refurbed one for like 219 with shipping comes with gamepad and console 32gb
Meanwhile the Twilight Princess remaster looks the same as it's original. LOL Poor tp.
Tp is getting tons og gameplay upgrades and features but i get what your saying i cried from nostalgia when manu screen came up for hd windwaker when i bought it
I've done a play through of this game once every summer for the past 3 years, it's awesome!
someone just gets all defensive over something new.
EHHCARTOONY GRAFICS?? THATS KIDS STUFF IM A HARDCORE GAMER
IM NO KIDDO I BIG MAN
I grew up nonstop playing this game. Looking at it now, it is so nostalgic. From the the animation, music, and SFX, this game is my favorite Zelda- No favorite game I have ever played. This game was a huge part of my child and I will never forget it. 😔
Skyward Sword ;)
I also think Skyward Sword is the best Zelda ever made, but then again, all that "the best" stuff....I love most Zelda games :) I played all Zelda's since the Windwaker, and loved every single one....maybe something most die hard fans don't agree with, but I wasn't all that impressed by the 2D games before that on hand console. I do love the latest 3DS one though :P.
Bought a used copy for under 20$ will probably get it in 2-4 days from now. Looks great.
am I the only one who prefer the original ?
Why? The remake is just better
so hd remake is better? i said it, happy now? you guys never respect other people's opinion
Thats fair. I like the remake but I can see how people prefer the original.
it's not wrong to prefer the remake but when people like the original more it's their choice
@@marvinwenz1209 I prefer the HD but I respect your opinion as that's a matter of taste
I have never played wind waker before, but this remake looks like a good place to start. It just looks too beautiful to pass up.
I've actually just bought the Wind Waker Wii U bundle just because I wanted to play wind waker and for The Legend of Zelda Wii U next year... so i've basically bought a new console just to play Zelda. I HAVE NO REGRETS AT ALL.
Wind Waker HD is my favorite Zelda game ever! I got it recently, and i'm in the Forest Haven or whatever it's called. It looks amazing in HD!
Yes! Artistry and originality always age better than cutting edge technology, because technology is never cutting edge for long. -Anthony
10years later any one still alive?
The HD lighting is mehhh. The original still has my favorite Zelda art style of all time!
Love Wind Waker and its unique art style. Played this game so many times and still love the sailing 😃
Its so refreshing to watch a positive Nintendo related video here on Rev3! Nice job Anthony! : )
-Anthony
Anthony, you and I share the same taste in Zelda. Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game of all time. I feel like we can be friends. The best of friends
I could write a book about why Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game, lol! I’m actually working on an article right now!
Im playing it for the first time and i must say, IT ROCKS!!
This game is amazing! But are you really gonna complain about the lighting? The lighting is so pretty!
YES! Minish Cap does NOT get enough love. I also love Oracle of Ages/Seasons. There have been some great handheld Zeldas. -Anthony
Great video Anthony. I'm getting that wii u bundle tomorrow. I really liked seeing the side by side comparisons. The hd upgrade looks fantastic.
So excited!
Wind waker was my first Zelda game and it's still one of my favorite games of all time
Anthony: This is one of my favorite reviews of all time- - well done!
I absolutely think so, yes. -Anthony
Dude, windwaker is by far the best Zelda game I've played in my life!
Windwaker is not only my favorite zelda game, its not only my favorite gamecube (and now wii u game), its my favorite game of all time, I think ive played through this game 10 times already and never actually got tired of it even a single bit
Same here man, windwaker is very special to me. I just finished about my 8th playthrough on gamecube
-Anthony
The Wind Waker HD is one of my favorite Zelda games.
Up with Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask.
I pick it over the original for GameCube anyday
In that case, you must be happy they al have remakes now.
And last time I checked Zelda is a game for kids...
swampydaswampert
not Zelda II.
Windwaker was one of my favorite Zelda games of all time. Just bought a wii about a week ago and Windwaker was the first game I played.
Great video
I'm sold now that I know you can take self-pics with the pictobox. That's hilarious.
I absolutely loved Wind Waker. It is my favorite modern Zelda game as well. It had so much charm and aged beautifully. I just might have to get a Wii U now.
Twilight Princess is still my favourite Zelda game. Wind Waker is a close second.
Windwaker HD was exactly what i needed to get a WiiU. So much so that i bought the Windwaker HD bundle with the special Zelda WiiU
