Quite a few other composers are unforgettable namely Dada SD Burman, Madan Mohan Ji, Salil Chowdhary, Hemant Da, Shanker Jaikishan duo and Roshan Ji, RD openly admitted that he was inspired by Salil Da most and his style of music. Such a great person was RD that he respected all these noble composers and carved out his own niche to become a legendary figure...

People often get confused between Kishore Kumar songs and Amit Kumar songs. Many songs like 'Dekho maine dekha ek sapna', 'Yeh zameen ga rahi hai', 'Dushman na kare', 'Roz roz aankhon tale', 'Kehdo ke tum', etc., which people used to think were Kishore Kumar songs, were actually sung by Amit Kumar. Being Kishore Da's son, it is quite natural that Amit Kumar will sound like Kishore Da.

Although LKPL posed to be RD's friends but truth is different RD and his father SD Burman too supported both LKPL beyond measure, in turn when they found place in Bollywood LKPL snatched many films from RD due LK"s Marathi background even then LKPL were no match to RD's talent, imagination, understanding of nuances of music that's why LKPL faded up and RD is still blooming and continue to inspire other composers. RD is unstoppable and superb.
Pyarelal was RD's close friend frequently drinking together. Not that Marathi manus. They both excelled during different eras in different styles. Can anyone go on listening to RD? No, sometimes SJ, SD, OP,MM,LP etc. So, no body is fading. No musician will.
@@Kamal-nh9el True, Laxmi-Pyare had great bonding with RD since times all three were SDB's assistants, just before 1942 A Love Story, RD said to Pyarelal " Pyare am making comeback, people will remember me for this kind of music" Pyarelal a very clean heart person like RD, smiled and wished him all success" Pyarelal appreciated RD for his excellent music in " Aapki Kasam" in public, but it's also true when they independently started careers became fierce competitors as well, Laxmikant was Marathi and not Pyarelal, nevertheless RD's style of music was for classes & elites but LKPL's music was for masses of villages, kasbas & small cities due to their conventional, simple folk music whereas RD's music carried variety and excellent sound management & amazing orchestration that's why his music is refreshing with its longevity and mostly discussed & probed by experts of past and present day musicians..
This is the voice that made sridevi, hence today I first time saw the face of this devine voice but just like other indian devine voices this also gets less recognization as to the mask face(retro actors)in the front of them voice.

Kishore Kumar who was not a trained classical singer with him he recorded "mere Naina sawan bhado" based on raag shivranjani,then " jane Kya soch kar nahi gujra", don't forget that time it was single take not like today that you can sing a single word. 2. Made song in each & every possible way in music possible. 3. Out side musical instruments produce music with cold drink bottle,polish paper and other thing 4. Introduce many musical instruments in our music likes flenzer,paddle matka. I challenge just show me another music director that's include regional music director who matched all this 4 points I will agree pancham is not unique,but with prove please.🙏
