But people probably don't think so because it's currently the most viewed debut song (in 24 hours). It reached 182 million views on UA-cam. And 1 month after their debut, they received the Rookie of the Year award without any promotions (inkiyago etc.). Yes, they are very talented, very popular (even though they are new) and I am sure they will be successful. Thanks for your reaction, but I'm sure you'll have more fun next time if you react to your favorite genres and favorite label idols. (sorry for my english😔)

I think BabyMonster is in this limbo state in Korea due to being in BlackPink shadow, if they were in a smaller company, this song would have blown up, it did well on UA-cam, and Spotify with the lack of promotion from YG, and no stage performances, Korea did not have any reason to rank this song and it stayed outside of the TOP 100 on all charts. But how did they get Rookie of the Year with no Promotions. Because BabyMonster is the GG of 2023, it is not over rated, they were not rated at all. This song was not an EP, it was less, just a digital download. and it still got most viewed in 24 hours. They are not OVERHYPED, they only have 5 million followers on UA-cam. but 22Million views in 24 hours, and 182 Million views over all are not from subscribed Viewers only. If YG did not hold back promotions due to Ahyeon not being able to debute with the group, I am sure the single would have got a lot farther, and have been better accepted. my opinion.
But YG has a plan, and the next song is said to be nothing like he has ever done before. so lets wait and see what he has for us in Feb. 2024

They are not famous yet..let alone legendary..They just entered the industry. Just one song with many views doesn’t make them legendary any way. They have a long way to go. Batter Up is amazing! I fully support it. It brings showcases the abilities of BabyMonster. Everyone knows that they are capable of insane vocals, but Batter Up even beat BlackPink's Boombayah, as the best debut song. They have everything BP has and more. In my opinion, YG artists are the most distinctive element of K-Pop. They are cooler and more mysterious than other groups. And my favorite style is "Yg style". I find the new groups (like the new jeans, ive LE-SSERAFİM) quite simple. Because rap-oriented and hip hop-oriented songs attract me more. (sorry for my english 😔)

He might like some lighter or more artistic side of kpop, but he also likes plenty of girl crush, stronger concepts, songs with raps etc we've seen with his reactions for Itzy, Aespa, G-idle. These groups just gave something more interesting such as production, lyricism, choreography and so on.
