That statement is so true. This lady has a huge heart and loves her bunny so much to make their situation work. I wish she could find a one bedroom mini home to call her own close to the beach. She would be able to get a good night's sleep and not have to worry about her personal belongings and still have some space for her bunny to dance. This woman and her bunny deserves the best.. sending prayers and love. This is a very touching story. Thanks for sharing and being yourself Lori you too have huge heart. Her tears about the socks were so much deeper than socks...The kindness, human connection, and real sense of sacrifice that comes with being homeless...the laugh is a shield of appreciation and shield for her hurt... I would contribute to a go fund me for a van with a little more room for the both of them. I am so on this woman's team. Her appreciation is everything❤❤❤🐰🐰🐰

I know many people who own many houses and properties..yet they have no space in their hearts for anyone or animals. this is heartbreaking. Hayla is so pure and gentle. We fight to rehome pets all the time, but there's so much humans in need of homes too. I hope one day we can rehome everyone. I'm glad Lorelei managed to find so many useful items for Hayla's car

You could tell how big her heart is when she cried when she was asked if she needed clothes or anything for herself. She clearly wasn’t expecting the shopping spree to include stuff for her. I hope her situation improves from here on out 😭💗

Homeless people (that arent strung out on drugs anyways) are the most down to earth and kindest people u will meet they are the most humble. If u just sit down and just talk with a homeless person u would learn they are some of the best people in todays society.

Lots of homeless citizens work, and they also have pets,from the times that they had housing ( which is getting more expensive by the day). The typical stereotype of a homeless person is NOT the only kind of people who are. Seniors and disabled people, veterans are also in this situation,thanks to high rents and not enough housing that exists. There's a permanent housing shortage. One way to help Hayla and other like her,is to lobby your City Council leaders for more affordable housing to be built for all those would be tenants who are NOT trouble makers or criminals. They need to allow affordable housing to be built all over,so that homelessness will finally end !

This is a beutiful example of how to treat a rabbit. Hayla is homeless but she still tries her best to take care of her bunny. And quite frankly she takes better care of her bunny than a lot of people do.
Even before the makeover she manage to fit hay, litterbox, food, water bowl, hidey house and basically dedicate almost the entire car space for the bunny! I find that amazing. And I'm glad she gets the very well deserved makeover, props to you for helping, lorelei!

Hayla doesn’t have the most ideal life, but i can almost guarantee that bunny has the best life out of any other.
My bunny rabbits are the only reason I go to shore on a regular basis. I live on a boat and since the pandemic have become rather anti-social. Taking care of my little bunnies keeps me sane. I to care about my little friends more than myself and anyone else. Bunnies are such sweet little creatures. And you say are a lot smarter then anyone knows. God bless you and all the little rabbit keepers of the world.

Hayla rescued Promise, but in the end it was Promise that rescued Hayla. Promise is such a caring and intelligent bunny, a true therapy animal ❤ and Hayla has a great heart, despite all adversity she never let go off the one who truly cares about her.
My mom was homeless when she was little and because of this I always have a special place in my heart for the homeless society. I would give her small bus and renovate it into a home or a van. This video was amazing and I hope she does better now! 💗

Most people regard pets as disposable! Longtime friends dumped their old cat because they were driving, moving across the US and "you can't take a cat in a car." (Yes, thry are no longer my friends!) I'm very allergic or I would have taken him in

this video makes me cry....it's so touching to see someone who would do everything for the rabbit and put her rabbit as a priority even above herself.
This really just goes to show how important it is to just be kind. People who are in the toughest situations are always the kindest people out there. I wanted to cry multiple times throughout the video. And it's just insane that a simple suggestion like buying socks can go so far.
I spent most of my life homeless and am still in poverty, so this episode really speaks to me. My cat (ESA) and rabbit (Assistant ESA) really keep me afloat.
"Homelessness makes you fat!" LOL, it's so true. Cake mix is way cheaper for the calories to get you through the day than a salad.

lorelei, my rabbit of 11 years passed away about a month ago from a chest tumor. i just want to say thank you so much for making the videos that you do, and educating me on how to take care of her. my sweet bun had a giant enclosure with SO many toys, hidey-houses, and a litter box that was so big it was made for obese cats. i let her run around for 3 and a half hours a day; the zoomies were amazing. even when her cancer started making her slow down, she would still run across the room for blueberries or mango or a dandelion. i think her happiness is definitely partly because of you. she was the happiest, most energetic bun i’ve ever come across. so again, thank you so much. ❤️

this might be my very favorite video I’ve ever watched on UA-cam. I was in an abusive relationship for four years before I got away. Everyone wants to say they hope Hayla gets a new home. I say she feels comfortable in her car. Like bunnies hide in a safe place. Maybe a bigger car would be fine, but not a huge house for her. Remember she is recovering from an emotional breakdown and she knows how much she can handle. Listen to what she says. She wants socks and she wants her backpack for her bunny. This is the most wonderful thing you’ve done for her, you’ve listened and you heard what she said and you acted upon it. You didn’t overwhelm her with fancy stuff. You gave her practical things that she could really use. Bless you sweetheart for finding this Beautiful beautiful soul and showing us what real love looks like and sounds like and feels like. I loved it when that sweet little man held the bunny and almost started to cry. He was purring to her. That was so so sweet. I hope you can do a follow up on her sometime so we can see how she’s doing later on. Thank you so much for this video, I cried and cried. In a good way of course. She’s right. I feel for this lady. Dealing with trauma is hard. I got my own bunny to help me with PTSD. It was so sweet that she didn't want anything for herself and just wanted to care for her bunny. This has been my favorite episode ever! OMG She's so kind and loves her bunny so much. All the car is mostly for her rabbit, she just curls up in such a small space compared with the space she gives to her bunny. This woman deserves everything, I hope she can have a better place to live soon. 🥰

I cried so much during this. When she said the rabbit was her emotional support because they're not going yell or fight with you . It hit me. Because I understood that bond. A rabbit is not person, it's not going turn around and hurt you. This little fluff ball gives her the freedom from living in fear all the time. It's there to say I'm here and never going hurt you. And really is so precious.
