Yes, i just saw the exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, and all the photos of her in her older age as well as her work in New Mexico were far more compelling to me than her earlier stuff.
I wanted to go to New York! But, then, Europe was not a "village", but Heaven to me... I have a book about her, and love her paintings... I also have a pencil drawing of her, now I'm painting "roses" and flowers, just as I had began with a FUSCHIA from my garden! I envy her... having to live in New York! I'd love to live there: either up above, or down below, with a "patio - garden"! Painting THE HEAVENS...
She is a truly lovely woman this is a pretty amazing video in itself this video I venture to say was probably maybe made in the 70s or the 80s but to think that she was born in the 1800s she is truly an inspirational being ♥️♥️♥️
I don't know if it is the case with other people, but even though I don't like their modern art, and would never have it in my home - I do like to listen to artists like O'Keeffe, Warhol, Bacon, Brett Whiteley, Bourgeois, Mapplethorpe and others. I like their intellect.
Such an interesting woman and dry and indepebdent. A true feminist. These superficial woke women like Meakle need to worship someone like her. She is modest and humble and off beat.
I think she was even more stunning as an elderly woman, so darn interesting! Her energy is a spark. Her work is soothing.

I love this documentary of a beautiful and talented artist Georgi O'Keefe. Unfortunately, someone has added a political ad at the end.

The most annoying soundtrack. Trust the artists words to carry the work.
