Good morning from Arkansas! It’s a very chilly morning here but I’m having my coffee and my dose of Steve and Steph! Wishing you a beautiful day and thank you for being there when I woke up😁🥰🤗
If you paint the wounded part of the elephants ear grey, it will just look like one of his ears is more folded down. Which is normal for an elephant. They dont always have their ears open.
Hi guys🙋🏻♀️ Oh my gosh...when I need a laugh I always know where to go! The Steve n Steph Show🤣! Come on Steve...have a dose of calming hemp for your more “spastic” moments🥴🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG i’m dying over here! 👍🏼❤️
Hey guys, I've been a fan for a couple of years now. I've told several friends & family about your channels. I've been binge watching your videos lately on my phone. (Ever second I get free!) Thanks for the laughs & sharing your life with all of us. I'm a closet dumpster dive 😍 I've saved some nice things from going to the landfills.
Seeing perfectly good/usable things just thrown into the dumpster pisses me off so much! All kinds of stuff that the stores could have donated to homeless/women's shelters or given to thrift stores to sell. These same big corporations that probably claim to care about the homeless and the environment!!! Unbelievable! Thanks for doing what you can to bring attention to this problem.
Could the spray painted blankets be given to the homeless or does the paint never quite dry? That UGG blanket looked so nice and warm. It's a shame what is being done to things like that.
I think they are upgrading the stores. The stores by me are throwing them out too. They closed a lot of stores this year so I think they may be changing the inside of the stores
I was thinking you could cover them with some fabric with a velcro strip so you could take off and wash. You might be able to make a child's seat with them some how.
When you find items that are damaged Ceramic or plaster, You can repair the damage by mixing up some Plaster Paris and water. Apply it to the broken area. When it dries, sand it lightly. I use it to cover up broken coffee cup handles and other ceramics.
Omygosh you finally found my head. I was wondering where I left it. Guess I better come and get it. Thanks Steph. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 crazy Canadians 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah they take one towels and spread it over and tuck it in for the towel display. The chris and Holly show found a bunch of them recently too. Seems bb&b is throwing them away all over the country.
Tbh. I Asked a question a few weeks Ago as a new sub about how long you have been married. I was SHOCKED by the answer. I asked because the way Steve and steph relate , it’s like newly weds. New found love. May we all be blessed with this type of union. GOD BLESS you two. You give us singles hope. True love and respect right here. love this channel and your other. you two are a God send during a dark time :-). Just a wild card question here. Any chance you two have gone videos of Wedding or early days? Love to see this .. inspiration. Think of the views!!! Lol ❤️
Probably private understandably. But.. u two are so freaking cute together j swear I’ll be single for life waiting for that connection. Share your secrets. ! :-)
Stephanie those foam blocks in BBB are for display purposes, they just put out new displays in the Boston area as well, we ran inti the same thing, keep checking they will throw out their display items, towels, curtains, etc....
Love, love the elephant! Those foam things are used for towel displays. I feel better after getting my Steve and Steph fix for the day. Love y’all. Stay safe and EYL ❤️❤️
Another great video Guys. Brightened up a snowy morning in Hertfordshire...Love the elephant, will be great to see you repair that Steph, Have a lovely day :-)
You can make a paste with paper and glue and mold the ear. (Papier mache) and then paint it. It is easy and very entertaining. Greetings from Madrid, Spain.
Steph use polymer clay. Form the ear. The clay will be hard when you start working with it but gets soft as you work it. Once the ear is formed bake it I put my oven at 180 for 30 min. Glue the piece on with gorilla craft glue, I would use painter's tape to hold it for 24 hours. Your elephant is most likely plaster of Paris. It is porous so that should work.
Steve Steph thank you for sharing this awesome video as you go dumpster diving two retail store dumpster that dumpsters as you dumpster diveFound some stuff love watching it love you both you both have a wonderful and blessed day
Hello this is Kathleen...for the elephant...I fix plaster molded statues...I drill small lil holes 1/2in apart the insert toothpicks...cut the to the thickness that you want...then make plaster very thick..keep applying till it the shape of the ear...when dry sand down then paint...much love Kathleen from the desert in California🌵😎🌴🌍✌🌛⭐🌜🌞🌷💙
He just makes all kinds of designs and things for Steph I think when she finds something useful for the concrete that he makes. I may be slightly wrong, but not by much I'm thinking.
You can fix ceramics with a two part putty called 'Milliput'. It acts just modeling clay. You can form it and when it air dries, you can sand it and paint it.
Hi steph ,I would spray the frame and then make like a pin cushion where the glass went ,nice n thick then you could use as either kitchen board ,or pin photos on it ,or as a memory board maybe even a jewellery holder .xx
I have a grabber and I LOVE it! Iy has like silicone suction cups on the bottom and it closes super tight! Use polymer clay! Sticks to everything. What does polymer clay not stick to? Polymer clay has no effect on them whatsoever. Plasticizers don't change the surfaces at all. Even acrylic paints, permanent marker, mica powders, rubbing alcohol, and Liquid Sculpey do not damage these countertops.Nov 7, 2019 That just shows what it doesn't stick to. Which really isn't anything.
Those foam pieces at bed bath n beyond is used to display a towel u lay it over n tuck them in the section to look like it a stack of towels only reason I know that is because another diver got some of them n I guess looked it up n showed the clip from inside the store. Sorry didnt read other message I guess someone else already told u. Also yes use modeling clay to fix that elephant.I fixed a bunch of items with it n then let the clay dry n then u can paint.
Hi StevenSteph from Ireland, my wife and I are recently subscribed to your channel a few weeks back and we are addicted watch your videos all day when we can, we really love the dumpster diving vids, ye find some great stuff, keep up the great diving and enjoy your lives, 👍👍😁 from Mary and Tom...Slainte (cheers)...
@@StevenStephResaleKillers you are both very welcome you provide us with great entertainment and enjoyment during level 5 lockdown here in Ireland, loving the great work ye do...good on ye...God bless...♥️👍👍
i repaired a plaster column(greek or roman style) that was short for display w/ super glue to seal the plaster FIRST. itll absorb the glue too much if you dont add a layer of glue, then added the broken off piece back on, also amended w/ super glue to seal it. filled in any holes left w/ hot glue. youll have to use good paint that will color anything(rustoleum?). and maybe re-paint the whole thing. you could smooth the 'sharp' corners down w/ sandpaper first, also.
The foam would be awesome to put two and two together, and make small pouffs. The rollsides against eachother...and just sew a cute cover for them....like from jeans or something,,,,,👍
The Foams are for towels to display them, fimo for the elephants ear( I also love elephants) and the ugg blanket you could have dyed it, there expensive blankets x
Stef get some plaster paras at your arts and craft store. You can mix it extra thick and mold him a new ear around the broken one. Paint him. Problem solved!
Steve, if you freeze the video at 4.51 or 4.52 its the most lovely of pictures of Steph smiling with her giant Dumpster elephantI think you should print and frame that one and put it up on your desk or in your house somewhere. (Super cool Giant Elephant too!)
The foam things are for displaying towels. You spread a towel across one and tuck the towel into the slits, thus making it look like a stack of towels on an upper shelf in the store.
Don't know if you all got to fix the elephant but if there's another time that you find any type of statues with that material or if you ever need to put together anything... there is a product that is called "liquid nail" and that works wonders. Just be careful that you don't put it on your skin because you will have trouble separating your fingers or whatever you glue together. Be safe with it

The frame would be nice as a ceiling medallion.
The foam is what they use for the towels in display. Saw that on the Chris and Hollie show. You could have cut them and made dog beds out of them.
Me too
Put some batting on it and material and make a push pin board.

What a waste. Not only do they throw it away but to slash and spraypaint stuff. Complete and utter disdain for our planet.
That’s terrible that they toss the foams from the towel displays rather than use them again, we only have so much room in land fills for pity sakes!
I think they are upgrading the stores. The stores by me are throwing them out too. They closed a lot of stores this year so I think they may be changing the inside of the stores

“It’ll calm you down for your more spastic moments.“ Steph, too funny. Poor Steve.😉

Foam things are for staging towel displays.
Draw a template and cut one out in thin plywood. Then glue the piece from the frame onto the plywood.

For the elephant, polymer clay. Make the shape you want, then use bake & bond to attach it to the elephants ear. Awesome dumpster dive.
Great Job
Plaster of Paris to fix the elephant. I made a mitten for a santa and painted it black. Loved him!
The fome could have been used for doggie beds or pillow to sit on outside if covered jus a thought 😀
You are so lucky to get that elephant, I am jealous. I love 🐘. Love you guys 💞
Stay Happy, Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕
Love you too thanks for watching ❤️
That elephant is beautiful ❤ Elephants are my favorite animal of all time!!!! Awesome haul you two!!
Thanks for watching 🐘❤️
I would have definitely taken all that foam. Foam is expensive. That foam has discoloration but it relatively clean.
Don't know why I laughed when you said "they only have a fish named Bruce." Lmao.

Good luck Michelle hope you score big 😊
Hello Steve and Steph, good too see you. Love the elephant. I would total keep it. Pillow is great too. Stay safe. Much love 💘 ❤
The mirror you found will be cool for chalk board. But I would paint the back and add a shelf to it.
You could always use the frame as a picture holder. Use twine and little art clothes pins and hang pictures from it.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been here! Good to see you 💚💚
Welcome back Thanks for watching 😊❤️
@@StevenStephResaleKillers I always love your sunshine-- we are around 22 degrees and a foot of snow LOL!!
Modeling clay with elements glue. Then paint. Fixed a cherished teddy figurine with this mixture. Ear broke too!

A fish named Bruce. Cool.

Homeless or even animal shelters do not care about paint. It still keeps them warm and an Ugg blanket is awesome I'd take that for myself!
The foam things are for displaying towels. You spread a towel across one and tuck the towel into the slits, thus making it look like a stack of towels on an upper shelf in the store.

The foam is what they make the towel displays with.
I fixed a similar elephants trunk with femo clay. Molded it then baked it and then attached. It came out good
Crayola air-dry clay works great for those things I use it all the time for the stuff I find in the dumpsters
So love watching all of your videos.

Wow another great load....woo hoo!😀👍
Awe wow that white frame will look ace as a chalkboard. Oh please show it to us once you've done it please ❤️
